Anything For You
Chapter 115

"You are so early. Are you leaving right now?" Evanora asked Egon who stepped at her door, with the first day of sun, and now was sitting with her over the breakfast table, while she offered him some morning snacks and juice to munch. He looked at the soulful and calm surroundings replying, "I have develop a liking to this place. It's been some days, but I am already finding it hard to leave SARAINE VILLAGE. Moreover, I have to go alone. When we left, we were four people, but now, only me and Akhim are leaving, while Estella and Valor are still staying back. So, I thought that I should not delay any further. Hence, I am here."

"Hmm.. Valor and Estella both are staying back! That's good. You know king Egon, it's the beauty of this village. Anyone who comes here once, leaves with a heavy heart because they get attached to this beautiful place. But the truth of life is to keep moving." Evanora said maintaining a healthy conversation, not showing Egon how happy she was hearing about Estella's stay.

"You are right. Well, I must say that you have really helped me a lot. And as promised, I am giving this urn to you." Egon said fetching the same urn that his father collected from the dead couple, and handed over to her. She softly held with a sweet smile, and gently kept it aside over the other table, which was quite short as compared with the breakfast table. But Egon's curiosity was still not quenched, hence he couldn't help asking her,

"But Lady Evanora, as I asked the previous day, Why were you so adamant on having this urn? I mean it's just an antic piece. What's it's use to you?"

"Tell me, what's it's use to you, King Egon? It's just an urn though." Asked Evanora sipping some drops of the fresh avocado juice from her silver glass, and then keeping the glass over the table making a clink sound, to have Egon's full attention over herself. "It's the last thing, which connects me to my father. I mean, he went for hunting for me. But then brought it instead, and I found his last letter in this urn too. So, it's kind of memorable to me. It holds memories, though it's not ours." Said Egon explaining what that urn meant for him. He was emotionally attached with it. And Evanora could sense it fully.

"Hmm, I agree. But you have to understand that this artifact isn't yours. Neither it was your father's. Also, I think your father wants to return this to the original owner. And I may have a way of returning it. So, it's more useful to me." Replied Evanora taking Egon off guard. He never knew that, she was aware about the dead ones' relatives or anyone related to them. He wanted to know about them. He beseeched her further,

"You know their relatives? Tell me, Lady Evanora. I ... I will apologize to them personally and will hand over that urn too." His eyes held a pleading look wanting her to tell him their whereabouts as soon as possible. May be after visiting them, he will feel more calmer. But Evanora had her own ways. Although, she was done with Egon, but still if he stayed more, she could enjoy the show.

"You know her. She is always besides you. And she is none other than Estella." EVANORA's answer came as a shocking blow to Egon, making the juice glass to fall down over the marble floor and shatter into millions of pieces just like his heart. He had never ever thought that she would be the last one of that couple's family. His face turned pale and eyes teared up instantly.

Evanora didn't stop there and continued saying further along with taking occasional sips from the juice glass,

"She is their daughter. The same daughter for whom, her father.... Oh sorry, her late father, went to fetch the water and some fruits. Her father was killed by yours, I mean accidentally though. Her mother ended her own life, leaving the little poor girl all alone on her own. You were always assisted by Akhim and the other royals, but that sweet child was left alone. She raised herself. She...."

At this moment of time, EVANORA was saying the things and all her talks were like a blabbering to Egon. His whole self was turned lifeless. His hands trembled, eyes down poured when he remembered the cave where Estella was living. It was all his fault. He was having an emotional tornedo in his mind, which was destroying every beautiful memory, and was replacing it with nothing but debris of the painful flashes.

Evanora stopped, and examined his face closely. He was looking pathetic. She cursed herself for a moment, because she was responsible for his condition. But to make peace with his past, he must be aware of everything. And she knew very well that Estella herself would never confront him. Tapping over his hand which was resting over the table lifelessly, she grabbed his attention saying,

"I thought Estella told you. But looking at you, I guess she didn't. King Egon. What you think now? I feel like you should go to her and apologize at least for what had happened. It wasn't anyone's fault, but she had lost the most in this process. Before leaving, you should talk to her once."

Her words paused and she finished the food in her plate. Casting a spell, she cleared the table from her side, while Egon's plate was still full with food, and the left over were still there. His juice glass had already spilled over the clean red floor, leaving a stain over it perfectly. His condition wasn't any different from the marble floor. Just like it, his soul was stained with the guilt.

Only one thing was buzzing in his head and that was, how he would confront her now?

Here in the rest house, Estella was already up from her sleep, and was sitting in the balcony sipping tea, while Valor joined her. She had searched for both Akhim and Egon after getting up in order to inform that she won't be leaving, but nobody was seen. Watching Valor approach her, the last night's incident flashed through her mind, and she smiled softly to him asking, "Did you see Egon or Akhim? I have searched everywhere but couldn't find them!"

"Oh yes, Akhim is on the back side of that yard preparing the carriage, since they are leaving in some time. While Egon has gone to meet EVANORA before leaving." Valor informed her everything. But Estella was looking at him from top to bottom, and ended up inquiring,

"Are you so happy, or so sad that Egon is leaving, that you are up so early today?"

Listening to her, Valor just chuckled and replied sitting over the chair ahead of her, grabbing the tea cup leisurely,

"Well, both. I mean I am sad that they are leaving. But I am happy that you are staying. And I didn't want him to leave without bidding me a good bye, so I am up early."

"Mmm, I wonder what Evanora could have demanded from Egon. He was being mysterious yesterday. Do you have any idea, what she asked him as a return gift?" Estella peered upon the next question. She had tried asking Egon yesterday, what Evanora wanted, but he just skipped her questions saying that he was quite busy and will tell her later.

To her, he was being suspicious. She was aware of the truth, but what would Egon be deciding now? What would be his take on this ground? How would he be able to face her, confront her, and moreover apologize her for everything she had been through without parents!! All these were the questions that he needed to ask himself calmly, before going to clear everything out.

Here, Evanora had already arranged for her next move, while Egon was leaving with a heavy heart. Although, he had the weight lifted off his shoulders and his heart knowing that his late was in peace, but how could he be at peace for whole of his life, when he know that the one whom he cared for, whom he started to adore, was the one who suffered the most in his father's hands and he was to blame somewhere too.

He was literally dragging himself and was now fully determined to face the girl. But in all these chaos, he forgot one thing, he was going to confront not only a child without parents, but also a snake queen. She was a small girl to him for whom he felt responsible since the day he met her, but was he really? Or there were other things in store for him to know?

-DESTINY LAND~

"She shouldn't have done that. Look, how pathetic Egon looks right now. Sister, I hate that witch totally. If lord of fairies and goddess of life would allow me to kill someone, at least only one person, I wouldn't hesitate to kill that Witch." Choice said moving like a raged toddler from her sit, flaring her nose and eyes slightly bigger than earlier, showing her anger and how pissed she was at the moment.

"It's all in the past, dear. It can't ne changed. So, don't bother yourself." Said Destiny trying to calm that little brat down. But her nagging tone again pierced Destiny's ears asking,

"Don't tell me sister that you feel what she had done is right!!"

Getting no response from Destiny, she plainly informed getting up and moving out of the room stomping her feet hardly over the ground,

"Fine, I won't be eating the desert made by you today. Because you are taking that witch's side."

Destiny repeatedly called her, but she disappeared into thin air. Destiny couldn't help but whisper, "Little anxious brat..!"
