Whisperings of people and soft Murmurings could be heard all across the whole hallways, while all pairs of eyes were darted at Scarlet and Emerald, trying to interpret, with the huge sacks of questions lingering in them, waiting to be answered at once. But the couple stood totally unbothered in the center of hallways, being the attention seekers. The whole Azure family had wrapped them both from around.

Eva, who was a bit late getting her make-up done, moved slowly towards the center after finding the littlest bit of crowd there. She was looking marvelous. Her Royal blue colored boat neck fairy gown was sweeping the unimaginable dust particles over the perfectly tiled marble floor, while her pencil heels sharply tick-tocked over it, making a loud sound in the silent surroundings, grabbing all the attention to herself. Her pale brown hair with occasional streaks of golden were curled and left hanging sideways. Spotting Sammy's back, she approached towards his direction, who excused himself to welcome her. Creeping his large calloused hand around her tiny waist, which looked even more small under that tight dress, he started walking slowly towards the family members. They looked like a other power couple, but still as it was a day for Emmy and Scarlet, most of the people were hurried deep into them.

"Grandma, Oldies, Brother and Sister-in-law, This is Eva, My..." Sammy tried to introduce Eva to his family members, but was cut amidst by Emerald,

"Yes, I know her. How are you, Miss. Evangelica Michelangelo!" His tone was a bit sarcastic as if trying to pole her again. She flared her nose and then looked at her Friend, who looked like a doll, so beautiful and so happy. The smile had been plastered over her lips and was not leaving even for a split second, reaching up to her eyes making them shine like never before. Eva controlled her fury and greeted Emerald warmly alongwith other family members.

Luna hugged both the girls, while Eva whispered to Scarlet from over Luna's shoulder,

"You bitch, you didn't tell me about this. Wait and pray until I kill you. Try to think of a better excuse for not letting me know about all this before handedly." Scarlet just looked at her with darting eyes, trying to signal her not to utter such words. Poor Eva wasn't aware about true identities of Azures and kept on blurting nonsense since yesterday. Luna overheard all that, and patted her back softly replying on behalf of Scarlet,

"I

I guess your friend is truly happy with my son. And I promise you lady, if he ever dare to treat her badly, or bully her, I will hand him over to you. Then you decide his punishment."

Both the girls released themselves from the hug, and Luna planted soft kisses over their temples. While Scarlet was being overjoyed at such a warm welcome, Eva was being ashamed because of her bitchy words. 'You stupid bitchy girl, you never stop this mouth of yours. One day you will land yourself in a big problem.' Eva thought inside her mind for a second, and then brushed it.

"She really has a temper. Perfect match for you, brother." Emerald teased Sammy, while Sammy questioned further,

"Brother, leave all this. Why do I feel that Sister-in-law isn't a werewolf? I mean, I didn't get any wolf scent from her. It was only your scent."

"She is mine. Ofcourse she would have my scent." Emmy replied possessively.

"Darn it brother. You are already so possessive. Did you two...(Ahem Ahem)..." Sammy made a kissing and s*x-making gesture with his hands to which Emerald immediately elbowed him, his glared never stopped and Sammy grinned.

"NO" This was the only word Emerald said. It carried possessiveness, authority, and Alpha tone. This was a signal for Sammy to stop his blabbering or else he would surely face the consequences.

The Grand Empress approached Scarlet and Eva, kissed their hands and hugged them both.

"I must say, both of my Grandsons are really lucky. Look at you both, so beautiful and pretty."

"Of course, they will be. After all they are our daughters."

All the Azures alongwith Scarlet and Eva turned their heads towards the voice that just buzzed in their ears from behind oy to spot Mr. And Mrs. Lozenge standing there in fullest glory accompanied by Little Willy, who rushed towards the girls and hugged them tightly whispering,

"Sister Eva, Sister (Scarlet), I missed you both a lot. You look like angels."

"Mom, Dad, you...." Scarlet was baffled spotting her parents here. She was shivering from inside. She didn't inform them about this party, let alone about her relationship with Emerald or about j her being a Mermaid. Then how come her parents were here! Who invited them? What would she answer them? Before Scarlet could ask them anything, Mr. Lozenge hugged her and responded understanding her questioning gazes,

"Relax my baby. Mr. Azure (referring to Emerald) told us about your relationship. And we don't have any problems."

"Yes, instead I am very happy that finally you found a boy for yourself." Mrs. Lozenge teased her, alongwith raising her eyebrows at Eva who shyly lowered her head looking at her fingers.

"He is so handsome sister." Willy Whispered and Scarlet shushed him, while Emerald just chuckled. After that family reunion, all of them were made to sit in their respective places while the king and queen took the central place in the hallway, which was made over a slightly raised platform. The king grabbed everyone's attention by clinking the wine glass.

"I, Jasper Azure, heartily welcome all of you in this great evening. Today is the most awaited day for all of us. My son, the current CEO of Azure Corporation, has finally chosen a girl for himself, Miss, Scarlet Lozenge. Although, me and my wife wanted to get them married as soon as possible, but since Miss. Lozenge is still studying, so we have decided to arrange a ring ceremony function after the next fall on the full moon night. I hope all of you can bless the couple. Please Enjoy yourselves."

Everybody clapped and congratulated the couple. Sammer had already spread the word in his people (Werewolves) that Scarlet's family wasn't aware of their true identity. So, even the wolves were behaving like humans and restrained themselves till every mortal left the party to seek blessings from the Alpha and Luna (Scarlet). People kept on stopping by Emerald and Scarlet to congratulate them and gifted them so many things. It was a tradition of Azure clan that the family members always gifted at last. "This is a dress that we both chose for you both for the upcoming engagement. It's made from the royal clothes. If you find any problems in this, you can always tell me." Luna handed over a beautiful embrioded dress of peach color with occasional patterns of Red and Black colors in that to Scarlet and a three piece black tailored suit to Emerald as a gift.

Sammy gifted them a beautiful farmhouse Whispering in Emerald's ears,

"Brother, you can always use the farmhouse. In case, you feel like... you know what I mean." He grinned widely while Scarlet just kept on blinking her eyes not under what the two brothers had been discussing that made Emerald glare at Sammy.

Now was the time for Grand Empress to bless the couple. She approached them with Carol besides her holding a glass plate filled with rare black lilies and Lavenders over which the two boxes, which she had brought from Dawn Mountain were kept neatly side by side.

Holding one of the boxes, she reached for Emerald and gestured him to open it up to which he complied. The smile that got plastered over his already handsome face made him look even more delicious that Scarlet had the urge to kiss him hard then and there, but paying attention to her surroundings, she shrugged her thoughts and delved deeper into the box to look for what was inside.

Both of them got stunned witnessing the Sacred ROSE RUBY in it, Emerald because of happiness as he had always wanted it, while Scarlet with amusement because she had never seen anything like that. The even more stunning thing was that as soon as Emerald plucked it out of the box, his fingers slightly brushed over the stone and it started to emit a strong rosy glow. Grand Empress was overjoyed and quenched Emerald's thirst answering his surprise,

"You are the one. The sacred stone had linked itself with you. Now you will have its powers, when you need them. It also suggests that you both will have a happy married life alongwith healthy children." As soon as she briefed, Scarlet's cheeks were flustered with a pink tinge and she blushed. Hiding her face from everyone, she kept looking downwards and the thoughts of having beautiful children with that sexy man besides her made her blush even more.

Although both of them were quite new in this relationship, but neither of them were rushing the things. It was a good thing too. But looked like the elders had some other plans. Emerald hugged the Empress and thanked her for such a great present. "Scarlet, I brought this for you. It's a very powerful gem." The lady offered second box to Scarlet which the later took politely and smiled sweetly. Before opening the box, she hugged the Empress. The lady whispered in her ears,

"I know that you are not a werewolf like Emerald. But I know that you too have lots of supernatural abilities. This stone chooses it's own master, my child. If you are the rightful owner, only then will you be able to access it's powers. Moreover, these powers are so powerful that they can be devastating at times if not controlled. I need you to be careful with RAGNARA."

They released each other from that hug and Scarlet scrutinized her brows a little over the mention of RAGNARA, not being aware that the gem Grand Empress had been referring to was called RAGNARA. She was somehow indulged in her own thoughts, but came back to reality when Eva gave her a slight push with her elbow and gestured her to open the box. Eva seemed more curious than Scarlet.

Emerald sensed her difficulties and slightly brushed her arms to soothe her uneasiness while gesturing her to take time. It made her a bit courageous. She opened the box slightly only to get shocked, stunned, surprised, bewildered, baffled and remained awestruck. The gem caught her attention like nothing in the world had. She had never heard or seen anything like that.

Soon, as she touched it with her index finger of other hand, the stone started to glow in dark purple color emitting a dazzling light blinding her and the others in her proximity. Grand Empress was beyond overjoyed. She immediately announced loudly, "RAGNARA choose you, Scarlet. You are the rightful owner."

Everybody was happy, but just when Scarlet mumbled the words "RAGNARA", her eyes darted back and shrunk deep into their sockets changing color occasionally. The only thing she remembered last was that purple dazzling light and a beautiful girl with RAGNARA studded in her crown, before drifting off into endless abyss of unknown darkness.
