they had been aware of the mighty princess Calista, King Faust doted over. But for humans, they were the angels.

It wasn't a hidden thing that all the eyes were darted towards both the girls. They were the only vampires herein. Although some werewolves, witches and shifters were here too, but vampires were represented by only them. The supernatural knew who they were for "Spare him princess. He doesn't know you." Another voice echoed in Calista's ears and she snapped her head towards the source immediately. Gulping the alcohol in one go, she discarded the glass and focused over the other intruder.

This man didn't look like intruder. He could be anything, but intruder..!! She doubted herself. His perfectly aligned jawbones screamed sexiness of a vampire. She guessed him to have a chiseled chest and tones abs under that white shirt which hugged his body tightly. She grazed over him from head to toe. His burgundy shows attracted her attention.

Finding Calista numb, Veronica's eyes too landed over the man who was trying to apologize for something the other douchebag did. She too found him too polite, but then let the thought slip away as humans used these tactics to court the girls.

"Are you trying to court her?" Veronica asked; the wine perfectly entering into her digestive system and making her feel warm. The later shifted his gaze away from Calista and peeked at Veronica whose appearance seemed to be drenched in alcohol. Her eyes were slightly red; he took it for alcohol and it's after-effect.

"No." He chuckled a bit and then averted the gaze again towards Calista as if eye-adoring her. The junior Cimberland excused himself finding a great chance to slip away from the claws of death. He knew if ever Mr. Herbew Roxflood came to know that he had tried to flirt with his sister, that would be his last day.

His departure made the situation a bit more relaxed and eased. Veronica was called upon by a witch; whom she knew from her adulthood days. A good friend. She excused herself too leaving the two people alone together.

"May I know your name Mr.?" Calista asked softly. She wasn't sure why she was being polite with a human. He surely wasn't a vampire, although he looked like one.

The later took a sit closer to her; same spot occupied by Jr. Cimberland. Looking at her rosy lips, he smiled gently revealing a set of perfect milky white teeth lingered with a smug smile; one that could make people go insane and replied forwarding his hand towards her,

"I am Leevon Lexington. My friends call me Lee. I am here to represent the Lexington group of industries on behalf of my father."

She took his hand softly and he in turn caressed hers with his thumb softly- a gesture of assurance that she was safe with him. He added further.

"I know who you are. You just introduced yourself." Looking at the direction of Cimberland Jr. She let out a reserved laugh. Her antics and behavior resembled a true pprincess both of them indulged with each other talking and chit-chatting. Soon the party came to an end and it was time for them to leave. Leevon seemed reluctant to let go off her.

"I hope we will see each other again. It was pleasure meeting you today." He said taking her hand for a quick peck like a gentleman, while Veronica was just watching everything silently. She would definitely not let Calista live so easily if something was cooking in between these two..

"Me too." Calista replied with the same sweetness. Both of them exchanged looks as if trying to talk with eyes and Calista moved towards the carriage that had been ready for talking her back to her world, The Roxflood Kingdom. But she remembered something and added,

"I will talk to father. If father and brother found that it would be profitable, we can have a business deal to work together. This is my address." She said handing him a paper over which something was written. Veronica's eyes widened in shock, while Leevon wasn't able to believe what he heard. Looked like it was a great decision to attend this event.

But he composed his emotions and nodded. They departed to their respective ways.

"You bitch..! You have him the address despite of being aware that he is a human?" Veronica couldn't digest this thing. She knew how much king Faust was always worried for her and her safety regarding her presence in human world. He would be pissed if he came to know that she was mingling with one of the kind.

"We have so many SOOPERS. What's the problem?" Calista replied back smiling faintly. She was in her own world. Something was cooking in her mind.

"They are food, Calista. And the way you looked at that human... I know he is not food." Veronica reasoned. She had been too observant today.

"I feel like I know him from decades. I don't know why I feel like owe him something. And yes, he is surely not food." Calista said.

"But he is a human."

"I can make him a vampire. I just need to bite him." Calista was adamant.

"You would be screwed." Veronica muttered under her breath and the carriage stopped besides the castle. They didn't notice that they had already reached back. It wa a fact that Veronica wouldn't be able to hide the events of today, but she didn't intend to tell that all to anyone. At least not before her friend wanted her to do so.

"Princess..! I thought you would be late. How was the party?" Herbew was already at the gate to receive her and Veronica. He had been thinking about them since they left. The girl's stepped out and his eyes again caught Veronica. She still looked stunning as she did hours ago. The travel, the party and all the tiredness... it wasn't even there on her face, but something else was. Worry...!! He spotted the lines of worries over her face.

Wanting to ask the matter of her worry, he took one step closer to her. But was stopped when Calista hugged him tightly. His attention waved and he let his thoughts shrug for the time being. He would attend to Veronica later.

"Come. It's quite late. You must be tired. Have some rest. We would talk tomorrow." Herbew said knowing that Calista was beaming and excited. She was ready to report everything. The girl pouted and both of them were about to head inside when Veronica said, "Fine Calista. I should go back too. You rest." She bowed lightly to Herbew and was about to leave when he held her wrist stopping her from leaving. This took both of the girls by surprise. This was the first time he had ever touched any other girl except his sister. Calista wiggled her eyebrows without letting the two people know. She knew that Herbew developed feelings for Veronica.

"It's late. Your house is in the other direction. We don't have soldiers in that area today. So, it won't be safe for you to go alone. Instead you stay with us today. You can leave with uncle Wades later. I will inform him."

"She is a Vampire brother, Remember! She won't be harmed at all. Let her leave if she want to." Calista said suppressing her laughter.

"Of course not. She is going to stay with me." Realization hit him and he immediately corrected clearing his throat, .. "I mean with us." Calista let out a loud laughter embarrassing both the other and headed inside while the other two followed her.

"Father, it was so great. I thought the party would be boring, but I enjoyed it. Everything was good except for that douchebag."

"Language..!" Herbew glared at her in between his food. Calista immediately bit the inner of her cheeks and muttered sorry for using that word. No matter how badass she had been, she never used those curse words in front of family. They told her to control as she was a princess.

"Who douche..." Faust was about to ask her repeating the same words, but stopped in the middle. Both Calista and Veronica giggled.

"Father, Mr. Cimberland's son. He was a real pain in .... He was hitting on Calista. But she shushed him when she said... "Princess... it's princess Calista Bravar Roxflood for you."" Veronica said mimicking Calista.

Herbew poked the fork in his piece of pork liver tightly and the girls straightened their backs. "How dare he?"

"Relax, he wasn't aware about her. Moreover, he doesn't have a good reputation. She served him right. After that he didn't dare to show his face. Mr. Cimberland was trying to pair our princess with his son." Veronica replied to Herbew's gestures.

"I won't allow." Father and son both said the same time making the girl stop on their foods.

"Father, there is a corporation of Lexington's. I hope we can try to have business with them. They are good people." Calista said changing the topic. She had already made a promise to herself that she would persuade her father, no matter what. And this was also the only way for her to see Leevon again.

"Hmm..I heard about it. They deal in pharmaceuticals and antics. But.. they are humans." Faust replied. Lexington corporation was among one of the best ones. He knew who and what they were, but it surprised him that his daughter was talking about this proposal. "Yes, but Mr. Leevon is a good man. Plus, he was very professional." Calista added. This sentence from her side made Faust realize that she was too adamant on having a business deal signed with the later. So, he thought of handling her the responsibility. "Looks like my daughter is growing up to be a fine woman. Fine, I will give you a chance. Invite him here. If everything goes good, we can do business. You can be the person in charge. What say..?" King Faust asked her with a gentle smile.

Calista beamed and almost hugged him from over her spot. Herbew and Veronica both shook their heads helplessly, and in doing so their eyes caught each other. Veronica lowered her gaze. She had noticed how Herbew had been looking at her since yesterday. She was not going to open up sooner.

"Thank you father. Lee will arrive today. I am leaving. I have to prepare for his welcome." She said hailing up from her sit in the speed of light disappearing from the area into her room, leaving all of them shocked.

"Was she that certain that I would permit easily..! She even invited him before asking me..! How excited." King Faust said surprisingly. While Veronica's mind was not at ease.
