Anything For You
Chapter 143

"So, what do you want me to do? Just sit and listen to you,!" Leevon asked the monk. The latter just nodded his head in a yes.

"The story dates back to centuries, even before you could recall it. But I won't be entertaining you that much. Hence, I will just ask you some questions. All you have to do is reply." The monk suggested and continued getting approval. "How long has it been that you are having those flashes of what you call them..? The horrific images."

"Since I started dating Calista," Leevon replied.

"Have you ever kissed her?" The monk questioned further.

"Yes, two-three times."

"Do you know who she is?" The monk kept on serving Leevon with questions, while he answered all of them calmly.

"Yes, she is a princess of Roxflood kingdom. We met at a party and happened to develop a distinct bond afterward. Soon, we confessed and..."

"and you can't live without each other now. Am I right?" The monk looked at Leevon's face, hoping for a positive response. He got one.

"Hmm... So, Leevon, do you know that she is a vampire?" The monk put forth another question. This was like a huge blow to the poor human. He couldn't believe what he just heard. He narrowed his eyes and gazed at the monk's face, hoping for the latter to say that he was mistaken. But in vain. All he got was a confident look. It scared him.

He was lack of words. He didn't know what to say and whatnot. For him, his love Calista was a sweet and gentle girl, he had never seen in his whole life. But just within a split second, there was upheaval and the reality surely hit him harder.

"What...! Don't tell me that she had never this. Oh Leevon, do you believe in vampires and other supernatural beings?" The monk asked him. He shook him to the core, and now was asking if he believed in the existence of all such things or not..! Really...! "First. I... I didn't. But after crossing that forest and sitting here with you, I do. I.. Believe that all the supernatural beings are here along with us humans, hiding perfectly. But what you said. Is she a vampiress...!?"

"I assure you that she is. But, you don't have to be worried about it. Not yet, for she won't harm you. She loves you, cares for you and all you have to do is end this all." The monk said looking away as if his soul was scolding him. "End what? I am not getting it. Please, be more precise." Leevon insisted.

"Look, what I am going to tell you is the truth of your last life. You may not believe me. So, I would consider you to sit down and watch this." The monk suggested. Leevon occupied his earlier spot and buckled himself for what was to be served in his platter. There appeared some people in ancient dresses talking to each other. All were walking on a snow-covered land. He saw a girl, a very beautiful girl, who was none other than a fairy. His eyes widened. Fairies we're also the real thing! Soon, the view changed and there was a commotion. People were not walking and chit-chatting happily anymore. They were moving away in random directions around a beautiful cliff. There were lots and lots of fairies. But they seemed surrounded by demons. Leevon gasped, and then he heard a roar of the same beautiful fairy calling someone "OHMAN ACER DAVASH....". She slowly put a wounded man over the ground and took out her sword. She was up for killing. A murderous aura was radiating from her body. She marched forwards and then her face appeared in view.

Leevon was shocked. She was none other than his love, Calista. A mutter left his mouth, and he called her softly, but she acted like a thunder-goddess. "she can't hear you." The monk said. Leevon continued looking at everything with a confused expression. Soon, the girl's sword kissed a man's flesh piercing straight through his heart, not minding the amount of blood it tasted. She had a satisfying smile on her face. The man was none other than Leevon himself. He turned meek. He couldn't understand what was happening.

Then was spotted both the wounded man and the girl. The former pulled the latter and kissed her maniacally, passing his blood and a dark aura. The girl's whole body got shadowed in black color outcastes by blood red and then the man fell over the ground. His eyes were wide open as if plucking out the soul of everything in view and a wide sinister smile was still lingering over his lips.

The events stopped and the sky cleared. Monk sat over his rocking chair again. He wanted to give some time to Leevon to decipher the meanings of all these events on his own.

Leevon was having difficulty breathing. He was feeling choked and strong immense pain excruciated through his heart making his whole self numb?

"She killed me...!" He questioned himself, not sure of why he was doing so. His mind went blank. He had witnessed everything that had been bothering him for many days. All those flashes, those horrific images, and nightmares were truth- the truth of his last life. He. He was a demon. His love, his sweet girl Calista was a fairy....! And she killed him in a war. This was all he could understand.

"So, now you can match the correct pieces of the puzzle. The missing ones are now crystal-clear. What do you plan to do?" The monk asked further?

Leevon thought for a while and looked at the monk again. He wanted the whole truth, and he knew this was just a start-up. "I prefer to know everything Mr."

"Well, you are quite conservative too. Fine. Now as you know that you bonded her in a Blood Pact in your last life. So, both you and she got entangled in a series of lives and deaths. And this cycle kept on repeating. But it has already been five times that you both are already born and died somehow. This is your sixth lifetime." The monk was briefing everything like he was narrating a story.

He went on, "Initially, I thought that you will both survive this cycle of fate and that blood pact. But I was wrong. Her body is becoming weaker with each birth. Her soul is getting empowered, but the vessel she is using is getting weaker. This is also a reason for her early demise every time.

And, no doubt she is a royal and pure-blooded vampire in this life; which surely means that she is way more powerful than her last life. But her days are numbered. She would be killed soon. If not, she will suffer any other dead-ends."

"Does that mean we lived many lives? What happened in them?" Leevon was curious.

"Yes, you lived five lives. And this blood pact ensued in the first life. You both were immortal. But because of you; I don't blame you; you both ended up here in the mortal world." The monk tried to brief again. "Wait, if she is that much powerful, Why would she die early? Power ensures survival." Leevon surmised.

"Yes, it does. But not in this case. The blood pact that you imposed on her to tie her with your soul, had worked so inadequately that her soul is getting stronger with each birth and the mortal world can't hold on to so much energy. So, her bodies are withering away fast.

Although I have no doubts over the fact that she would be born again, I guess, it will be too late by then. If you didn't end the blood pact in this life, she and you... both would end up losing your souls in the myriad of times" Monk claimed. Leevon gasped. He didn't expect that the cause of his horrific flashes was he. He was to be blamed for everything, for all the pain she endured.

"Is it only affecting Calista? You said that we both were tied in that Blood Pact, then how come only she is suffering? What about me?" Leevon suspected.

"Regarding you, since you were the one holding the key go end that pact, so your mortal body wouldn't suffer. It didn't suffer in any of the lives. You lived to the fullest. Only you can end it." The monk said the last set of words softly, just like a whisper. But it was audible enough.

"How... How can I?" Leevon surmised.

"Kill her." The monk said without any emotions over his calm face. He was as calm as the lanky winter nights. Looking at his face, nobody would be able to judge the battles he had been combatting inside. Leevon gasped. He was beyond shocked. "WHAT?" He nearly yelled out.

"Kill her." The monk repeated.

"I heard that. But why?" Leevon enquired. How could he kill the person he loved so much! "Because that is your destiny."
