"Are you for real? Lord...I, I,...I can't accept this. Jumping into this body...? No way. I prefer this soul form than this body, Lord." Nexus had been pestering Silvan since a few hours after Dankein gave off a dead body to Silvan as he asked him. The duo was utterly

amazed at the decision of Dankein and the choice of the dead body.

"But you know that we can't reside in the human world like Dark Souls. We need to blend in. And for that, we need human bodies. Now, as far as I am concerned, I have this human Timothy's body. You too need a human body, Nexus." Silvan tried hard to convince Nexus for using the dead body provided by Dankein although he was not convinced with that bizarre choice.

"But Lord...how can I? I am a man after all. I can't just jump in a female body, For Satan Sake." Nexus pondered. He was raged, furious, disturbed, challenged, or anything else; he wasn't sure of his emotions presently. All he wanted was to get away from the situation as soon as possible for he knew if he pondered for a long while, Silvan would end up ordering him to jump in the dead female body and behave like a girl for all his life as a pathetic human...and he...for sure never wanted it.

"Nexus...look, I know it's hard for you. But...all you need is a dead human. And you know King Cosh, right! He won't kill someone just because you didn't like this figure, I mean...she has got good curves, even though she is a dead man now. Come on... Jump on." Silvan said, this time more forcefully with an even more convincing tone. Nexus looked at his lord with narrowed eyes. He knew where this all going.

"No, we can go to the human world as such. Once we step there, I am sure we will find lots of dead people and then I can choose according to my liking. But lord, I won't ever use this female body. I am a man." Nexus was never going to be a woman. He had decided as to no matter what, he won't confide in being a woman.

Silvan had been trying to convince him with politeness, but it looked like the stupid dark soul liked it the hard way. Pulling and surfacing all his wrath and devastating character, Silvan aka Timothy had turned his eyes pitch black darting them at Nexus's dark aura that had been hovering away from the dead woman lying over the floor and approached him emitting a commanding look,

"You...are going to be this woman. You will jump in and take her body, as King Dankein had chosen for you. There is no saying no. So just cut the crap Nexus and step in. I want you in my room in fifteen minutes, all dressed as this woman used to, if you wish to stay in this world."

Nexus made a puppy face although he didn't have any and cried gallons of tears if he had any to shatter. Guessing his emotions, Silvan muttered while leaving him with the des woman,

"Once you get that body, you can show that puppy face and she'd as many tears as you wish. Women are moody after all."

"It's been two long days and Miss Carol is still unconscious. The soldiers on Dawn Mountains all are found unconscious too, and none of them...I repeat, none of them... has regained their senses yet. We don't know where the Empress is? Who took her? The only hope right now is to get Miss Carol to talk, and you are still standing here in front of me...bowing down!? Do you perhaps get the urgency of the situation here, Mr. Morson?" Emerald yelled over the royal healer, while his threatening tone made Scarlet flinch once and she cornered herself, excusing her and letting herself off the room.

"What is happening in there, Luna?" Summer was fidgeting with his fingers and was pacing north, south, east, and west out of frustration. He jumped over Scarlet as soon as she exited the room and was about to make her way downstairs.

"Your Alpha is raged and furious. This is the second time I have witnessed him like that. I bet you won't want to go there and get a scolding if you have a weak heart to bear that. I pity Mr. Morton." Scarlet briefed all the things and was about to add some more when her ears got the squealing voice of her little brother Willy, who happened to be downstairs with her mother and brother.

Excusing her being hurried, she made her way downstairs immediately to wrap the little brother in a bear hug happily. Sammer sighed moving his head here and there and putting on a smile on his face too. He was worried about his Grandmother, but he knew he couldn't afford to be rude to Luna's parents, or else his brother would chop his legs and feed him to the warrior wolves.

"Aunty, Uncle, Little Willy! How are you all?" Hammer put forward his hand for shaking with Mr. Lozenge, who took it happily and wrapped the prince in a sweet gentle hug, while his wife Mrs. Lozenge patted his back lovingly. The lady's eyes had been darting here and there looking for something or someone. Hammer chuckled and responded,

"Brother is in the middle of a state affair. He will see you immediately after he gets free, Aunty." Mrs. Lozenge laughed sheepishly gesturing Sammer to keep quiet. She felt embarrassed when The Queen (Sammer's mother) intervened from afar saying, "He is you, would-be son-in-law. It's a common thing that you want to see him. There is nothing to be embarrassed in this." Mr. and Mrs. Lozenge smiled in between the sweet emotional gig they shared with their daughter Scarlet. Mrs. Lozenge kept on checking her periodically to ensure that she was healthy and safe.

All the people took their respective spots over the satin black sofas placed in the north corner of the hallway and the servants started to serve some meals.

"It's early in the morning. We didn't want to disturb you all. But when Eva told us that Scarlet has regained consciousness,...we just couldn't wait any longer and rushed here to see her." Mr. Lozenge tried to get away with the inconvenience he supposed his family had been causing to the Azures early morning.

The King who had been matching his strawberries dipped in caramel pudding kept down his fork which made a clinking sound with the plate and platted Mr. Lozenge over his hand,

"Mr. Lozenge, it's not inconvenient for us. Besides you are family. And, my mother used to say...the more, the merrier. So..." The king halted in his speech just when he mentioned his mother and there was a sudden change in his expressions. Mr. Lozenge noticed and enquired,

"Mr. Azure, is everything all right? You look a bit disturbed!" The king wanted to confess his mother's situation, but since the Lozenge family wasn't aware of them being werewolves and all the other things, he let the matter slide,

"No, it's nothing much. I was just being sad so that you would feel bad. You see, this sweet child had just been here for some days, but she had cast a spell on all of us. Now we want her all of ourselves, but here you are to take her away from us."

"Oh...I would never do that if not necessary. But you know that she has been here for many days, and her classes are suffering. It's her last year of university. I don't think she would be able to afford any more leaves." Mr. Lozenge tried to be polite while explaining the matter to the king, who just nodded understandingly.

"We understand this, Mr. Lozenge. It's fine. You all have this breakfast, and meanwhile, Emerald will be here too. Then you can leave if you wish to. It's fine with us, but Emerald had been way pushier these days regarding Scarlet. So... you know what I mean." The Queen interjected while her gaze was glued to Emerald's room in between the talks. She was quite anxious about how her son would react to the fact that Scarlet would be leaving for the world right today.

"Yes, yes...we can understand. Young people these days.... it's a good thing that Emerald cares a lot about our child. She will be happy with him." Mrs. Lozenge caressed Scarlet's hair, while all she had been focusing on...was matching more and more food without caring for anything else.

"I don't think he would let you leave at all. The way he hugged you today morning, and the way he was always like your shadow is enough to prove...how badly he loves you. You, bitch...you found a doting man..." Eva whispered in Scarlet's ears from her other side. A pink stain of a blush crept over Scarlet's cheeks making her flustered and her eyes traveled towards the direction...Emerald was coming from, and the look on his face made her gulp the contents of food in her mouth.
