"Oh God, For how long I will be able to hide this from you!" Scarlet whispered to herself while watching her cell phone ring continuously for the past five minutes. She had already ignored Emerald's five calls and this was the sixth one. If she didn't take it, she had no Mustering up her courage, she pressed the answer button with her shaking finger and kept the phone more than closer to her left ear only to hear the man over the other side yell,

"What the f**k! Scarlet, baby...are you okay? What took you so long to answer this damn phone. I am worried. Just say something..." His anxious tone was enough to let the girl put her guard on and stop her from doing anything stupid.

He was rushing, worried, and maybe ready to come over to her leaving the currencies behind, but they couldn't afford this now. She decided to lie. With her shaking and guilty voice, she put a fake smile over her lips saying,

"Hi Alpha, I was in the class. The phone was in my backpack. Don't worry, I...um...I am surprisingly good and fine. How are you doing? And how's everyone else? Did you find anything about Grandma? Miss Carol...!" Scarlet put forth several questions for Emerald to answer. This was always her tactic to dodge any situation. If you can't answer them, question them.

"I...um...I am good and everyone else is great. Me. Morson is keeping a regular check on Miss Carol's health. He says that she is recovering, but she is still not awake and without her...we can't do anything. Even the soldiers are saying that they didn't see anyone coming into the house and leaving the house. I am f****d up..." Emerald was frustrated.

Being mates, Scarlet could feel his emotions. She wished to have him wrapped in a tight hug and say that everything would be good, that she was with him, that they would find Grandma, but all she did was breathe a good amount of air in and out. "I know...but you need to focus on your studies too. And yes...I want us to get engaged once all of this is over. My mom dad talked to your parents in this matter, and guess what...everyone agreed." Emerald broke out the news and Scarlet blushed hard. "I love you, Scarlet." He whispered from the other side of the phone closing his eyes as if he could feel her in him. Scarlet blushed and replied with the same feeling. The man chuckled saying,

"I would have done tons of bad things....if only you weren't away from me."

"Pervert.." She teased and found him laughing darkly saying, "Only for you..."

"You love birds, enough of this. We have a class to attend Alpha. She will call you later, and you can do any bad thing you desired so badly. Hanging up." Eva said after she snatched the phone from Scarlet and the latter was trying to get it back. The beep sound was heard, and Emerald made a puffed face yelling for his brother,

"Summer Jasper Azure.....you better control your girlfriend..." The poor Sam chocked hard on his food downstairs.

"Your Highness, how...how would we cope up in here without you? Moreover, you aren't even telling me how many days you are leaving? I wonder what you hunted that day!" Trevor blurted out infuriated everything out on Dankein who just announced that he would be leaving the Siesta Valley temporarily because he had to go to the Human residence.

Dankein turned around tucking his sleeves above his elbows giving off a seductive look; any woman would die for out there and darted his furious gaze at Trevor, who just felt stupefied the way he just confronted the King, and with what authority...he wasn't sure of either.

"Do I need to explain my actions to everyone, Trevor?" Dankein narrowed his eyes and tried to investigate Trevor's frightened soul. The man just shrieked in fear of losing his life for his spoken words, but calmed his racing heart and said,

"Apologizes, Your Highness! But I worry for you and you used to involve me with almost everything happening to me. I mean no harm. I will be able to help you if I know the urgency of the situation. I..." Trevor was interrupted in the middle by Dankein, "The...urgent situation is in here. You must manage everything behind my back and report me weekly through mind-link. And...if you are worried about my stay in the Human World, then don't. Perhaps you are forgetting that we have Lord Silvan and Lady Nexus out there. Don't we?" The dark chuckle came back the instant Dankein mentioned Nexus as a lady and soon Trevor's face beamed.

He wanted to share his worries and yet he felt reluctant to do so. 'I need to live longer for my wife.' Trevor thought to himself and let the suspicious and questions pass about. He wasn't at ease knowing that once Dankein set foot in the Human World, there would be no coming back at least for a longer time, but for sure... he was just a soldier, and soldiers weren't allowed to advise the Kings.

Dankein put on his coat and arranged some things in his backpack. He looked for Alfie and took it in his arms. The animal purred and snuggled more and more into his arms. "I will take Alfie along with me, Trevor. She won't do without me for longer times." Trevor nodded having relief for he knew how bad it was to handle that outrageous animal once Dankein wasn't around.

The man stepped away and approached the door announcing, "And yes... Let Drampus rest for a while. I will take the other horse. He is a good companion too. And Trevor, send two guards after I am gone for one hour. They would have to take the horse from the territory." While Dankein was about to step out, Alfie looked at Trevor and its eyes changed color to glowing red making the man shriek in fear, but the other moment everything went back to normal letting him assume that perhaps he was having a bad day. 'I need to rest for while.' He thought. ~HUMAN WORLD, NORTH VILLA, SILVESTER STREET-

"I must say that I am baffled. You have managed to buy such a lavish villa in such a short time, Nexus. I am proud of you." Dankein praised Nexus taking a seat over the maroon velvet couch kept in the right-center of that hall under the little chandelier hanging over his head.

His eyes traveled to the roof of that villa that was carved with beautiful patterns and the other two chandeliers, one of which was in the left-center like the one he was sitting underneath, and the other bigger one in the center, all glassy and shiny with hundred if tiny lights in it.

"Marvelous! Humans have come a great way from their wild beings to civilized beings. I wonder always whenever I look at the things they have made." Silvan added. Nexus was grumpy all the time.

Looking here and there, Nexus found a huge wall mirror beside the little bar cabinet that was stuffed with some wines, whiskeys, and sort of scotch; left by the previous owner, he presumed and approached the mirror only to stand in front of it with a scoffed face. The man looked at his feminine reflection turning and tilting himself in all possible directions. "I need a man, Lord." Nexus said out of the blue and Silvan who was busy enjoying the beautifully cared marble in the villa instantly whipped his head towards him and looked at Nexus. He narrowed his eyes and found Nexus raising his arms in the air and sticking his shoulders behind. That posture made those perky boobs of his female body more pronounced.

Silvan darted his eyes at the pair of fleshy perky folds and gulped his saliva. Turbo g his eyes away from Nexus, he teased,

"You hated this female body a couple of minutes ago and now you want a man already. How desperate you are! And you are even trying to seduce me with those perky boobs..." Silvan pointed his finger right in the direction of Nexus' boobs which the latter covered with his hands snorting,

"Lord, I mean I want a dead man to jump. I won't appreciate you drooling over this female body. Don't dream of having g a good f**k with me. I am your Nexus, Lord. Remember me?" Nexus said hastily poking himself or herself trying to make his point clear. Sitting over the marbled floor, Nexus stated pressing Silvan's legs and buttering him with sweet expressions. Silvan interfered,

"Nexus, you are a woman now. And these sweet expressions aren't helping at all. Besides, you can't jump right away. You need to wait for at least six months. And consider the fact that this female body of yours will be helpful to us. We won't be like single dogs to anyone here. I must figure out so many things, and for that hidden identity is best. So just bear with it for now." Silvan gestured Nexus to pass him a glass of wine from the alcohol cabinet over the small bar in the left corner of the hall room. The villa was indeed lavish.

Just when Nexus was about to pour down the wine in one glass for Silvan, the man over the couch jeered and sighed. Calling Nexus, he announced,

"Lady...please do pour the wine in two glasses. We are expecting company." (Nexus will be addressed by his name or as a female from now on to avoid confusion, and Silvan is none other than the Lord of Dark souls inhabiting inside Guard Timothy's body).
