Chapter 63

Just as the three people stepped inside the house, they had already been drenched and their clothes were dripping water droplets like they were in the rain for a long time.

Jack who was behind them both was the most pathetic soul for he was the one who got soaked the most when they were arguing like cats and dogs. Being a werewolf, he wasn't going to get sick but he was not looking good and just when Scarlet was going to say something again, a loud sneezing sound caught her attention.

Jack was sneezing badly and it looked like he was going to catch cold soon. He was always reluctant to go out in rain, all thanks to his allergy which made him sneeze badly. Same was happening again. He went on sneezing making loud sounds.... loud enough for others to step out of their respective rooms and gasp looking at the drenched figures.

Jessica came swiftly towards her drenched daughter who was dripping while her clothes had been sticking to her body revealing her pink inners over which Emerald, her newly formed Mate was drooling.

Jessica being a protective mother immediately came there and held her daughter protectively while giving her a Shawl to wrap around thinking she might catch cold. But little did she know that her daughter ruled the water element, being the queen of mermaids. Water had become her biggest strength and since she was still a newbie to all these powers, the more she would be in contact with water, the more her powers would be hyped.

"Who are these two? And why are you drenched like this, sweetie..??" asked Mr. Lozenge getting amazed over the fact that two strangers looking like Greek gods were standing in his house and one was sneezing badly while other was drooling over his daughter. This was not a good feeling at all.

Before Emerald could go on to introduce himself, Scarlet spoke out nearly blurting our Everything like she had been preparing herself for this question all her life ...

"Dad, this is Mr. Emerald Azure and this is his PA, Mr. Jack. I am working for his company. We were in a meeting, but suddenly weather changed and they couldn't go back. So, I brought them here but we got drenched while getting inside."

She sighed a long sigh after saying this and it made Jessica, Bob and Willy all three to blink their eyes several times like they were trying to absorb all the information provided by her. But it didn't last longer as Jack sneezed out his lungs once more making everyone to divert their respective attention towards him.

"I... I... am.... sooor..... AAAAHHCCHHHUUUUU.....

SORRY..." said Jack while sneezing again.

"Oh... you are sneezing so badly son. Come inside. I will give you some clothes to change and warm milk." said Jessica Patting Jack on his back and also eyed Emerald who was still watching Scarlet. While passing by his side, she tapped on his shoulder saying.... "Young man, Eyes Away...unless you are dating my baby.

I think you too are drenched. Come with me."

This took Emerald out of his fantasy world and he followed Jessica obediently after getting embarrassed enough already. No mother would like it if any man would stare at her daughter like Emerald. He understood this and wanted to tell her the truth but stopped thinking the consequences. While Scarlet rushed towards her room and changed herself along with drying her long soaked hairs.

In a short while, all three of them joined the Lozenge family outside at the dinning table, where some warm delicious dishes were served by Jessica in the meantime. Although they were all full, yet they didn't want to deny her and hence sat down for meals once again.

After finishing off, Bob arranged for two men to stay inside Willy's room for the night and handed them warm milk which according to his dear wife was helpful in that condition.

Scarlet was sitting over her bed and was going to drift inside the blanket when her mother knocked at the door and stepped inside before getting any reply from her dear daughter. She was looking very happy and extremely contended. Sitting besides her daughter, she started her questionnaire round ...

"Tell me fast baby... are they really your friends. I .. I ..mean your new Boss...??"

"Yes.. mom.." replied Scarlet nonchalantly. But peeping at her mother's excited face she knew completely where the conversation was heading to right now. Her mother was here to match make once again.

"That handsome boss... did you look at his face how was he looking at you back then... I.. I.. think he likes you sweetie. What say.. He will be a good Son-in-law." said her mother with beaming eyes.

"If he was looking that good staring at me, then why did you ask him to avert his eyes mom?" questioned Scarlet to her mother taking her in a surprise to which she replied smiling sarcastically...

"I can't let him know that I already like him."

Scarlet .."....!!"

and just then her father entered inside saying...

"Let her rest. She is tired. I will decide to that if he would be a good Son-in-law or not." and dragged his wife out of his daughter's room not before pecking her forehead and tucking her inside the quilt for a sweet sleep. -INSIDE WEREALM-

The king was being restless pacing back and forth while his all attention was over his son who happened to get trapped inside the Jungle. Although they both had talked and he strictly ordered Emerald to get out of that area along with Scarlet, but still his heart wasn't at ease. Luna had been watching him all the way pacing. She slowly hauled up from her sit and approached him with tiny steps not wanting to startle him.

"My Lord, They will be fine. Emerald is strong and competent. Moreover, Jack and other warrior wolves are also there with him.... Don't worry..." and just rubbed his shoulders to calm him down.

Jasper relaxed immediately and his tensed muscles came to a point of utter calmness under her smooth touches. This woman still had the same effect on his body. No matter what, she was able to calm him down in every scenario. But today, it was about their son, Whose life had been in danger.

"I know Luna.... But, words of Supreme Ancestor are continuously reverberating inside my head making me even more worried." he said sitting down on the soft mattress placed besides his bed side and held her hands gesturing her to sit close to him. "Honey, But Supreme Ancestor said that he could be in danger. He didn't say that he must be in danger. and ..." she paused in the middle when he just rested his head in her lap holding her fingers.

"But... His, Jack and nobody's cellphones are reachable and I can't even mind-link with him right now. We don't know weather they have left that area or not. And who knows which kind of Dark souls are after them...??" Jasper expressed his worries snuggling more into her lap when she continued to Caress his hairs.

"Dark souls... !! I wonder.. why would anyone try to harm our son when be had done nothing wrong to anyone." She had been expressing her thoughts like a mother who was just concerned for her child's safety only unaware of the past.

"But I don't get one thing ... from where do those dark souls are coming...?? I mean RIVERSTONE TOWN JUNGLE is not the area where werewolves reside, nor there had been any werewolves or vampire in the previous times. It's totally a human Inhabited Zone.. then

"The portal ... The portal has been opened, Luna." Jasper Blurted out in puzzled state and this caught her attention. It means something was still not known to her.

"Portal ....!!" being surprised Luna stoppd her actions and this led Jasper to frown. He was relaxing in her lap but now she had been worried like him.

"Yes,. the portal ... it's like a passage which connects all the worlds and will remain open till tomorrow morning because of clashing blue moon and blood moon day. The grave danger is upon Scarlet and Emerald." he told her everything making her gasp. "If it was that bad, why didn't you tell me prior to now then...?" she questioned and he knew this perfectly well that he would have to face this question. Thus, looking at her beautiful face lovingly and caressing her cheeks he whispered slowly... "Because, I didn't want to get worried."

-DESTINY LAND-

Choice was also pacing back and forth restlessly while Destiny was telling her to sit back.

"What are you doing little girl..? Just sit back. You moving are making me hallucinate." said Destiny telling her while doing her work.

"Sister, I am worried here. What would happen now? The dark souls are there to harm Alpha and Scarf... they.. they would ..."

"Alright.. alright...they would do something to protect themselves. You getting worried would do no help. Now, relax.... It's their life, and their choices. Remember....!!!" told Destiny and Choice made a confused face.
