Chapter 65

Did I miss something??" asked Emerald coming back after attending the call and taking his seat besides Jack who was munching the delicious dishes like he had been starving for ages and at that instant Emerald felt as if his beta Jack had got transformed into a pig from a werewolf overnight. No reply came from both the people who were eating like there was no tomorrow. Had it been any other times, Emerald would have pounced over Jack for not responding to him, but meeting with Scarlet, he was calm.

Scarlet was cooking the evil plans inside her mind thinking how would Emerald react when she will succeed in her plan and was grinning ear to ear inside her head while punching the delicious pancakes made by her mother.

Looking over Emerald who was now busy in eating his breakfast, one time her heart was not ready to play that prank over him for he was too hot and handsome to be pranked but her brain was making her stubborn thinking that how could she back off. At the end, her cunning brain won over. She felt pity for poor Jack because it was sure that when Emerald would come to know about the source of her information, poor Jack would suffer.

Soon, all of them had finished the breakfast and still while Emerald was stealing glances over his mate, Scarlet was not even sparing him a look afraid of being caught even before committing the crime.

They all hauled up from their sits and that's when Jack spoke up ...

"Mam, would you pack some food for me? I mean its way too delicious." And earned a glare from Emerald and a chuckle from Jessica who nodded happily.

She came with two boxes which were of course filled with food and handed one to jack while other to Emerald saying....

"you both can have it. I have already packed for you."

Jack took it shamelessly while Emrd hesitated a bit but ended up accepting it. He asked her ...

"Why don't you work as a head chef in one of our restaurants. You just cook the most tasty meals." To which Bob replied.....

"She likes to work free-mindedly."

Jessica smiled and said while tucking one of her arms in her husbands who side hugged her....

"it's okay. Whenever you feel like you want to have food made by me, you can drop in here. Or you can give me a call, I will send it to your office. I know how much you loved my dishes back to when you was a small kid in Azure restaurant." Soon, they were chatting and Emmy was getting late for his office, so he excused himself dragging Jack with him who sent to have no plans of leaving.

That's when Bob suggested Scarlet to...

"Sweetie, see off the guests." And Scarlet nodded. The Lozenge couple was sure about one thing that there was something going on between Mr. Azure and their daughter. They had always wanted to find an elegant man for her, but she was always reluctant. Although, she was still a little girl to them, but she was growing and all her friends were dating. It was good if their daughter also join her friends.

When they all stepped outside, Jack settled on the driver sit while Emerald glanced over her angelic face before stepping inside. She was having a hard time because he was looking hot.

"See you soon." He said and just when he was about to step in, she stopped him from doing so asking...

"Can I .. I ..mean .. can I come to see you if I want to meet you in your office?" This was the most unexpected question that She had asked him tucking a strand of her unruly hairs besides her ears stopping to play with her fingers which she used to do always whenever she was nervous and it sure had a huge impact over him. He was happy, beyond happy.

He smiled faintly and approached her killing all the distance they had whispering besides her ears...

"You can come to me anytime, My little fish. You are not only my mate, but also My Luna... nobody would ever stop you from meeting your Alpha." And blew a good amount of hot air in her ears making her shiver and feel hot immediately.

She was having a hard time breathing. She was so occupied in his cologne that she didn't even realize when he left.

Emerald loved the effect he had on his mate. Be had just took a sit in the car and he already started missing her. This was the beauty of mate bond, it becomes hard for you to stay away once you find your mate.

He was getting himself prepared for meeting his people because he had been away from werewolf world after meeting his Luna, for people there would be eager to see her, to see them both. But right now, he had company matters in his hand and the car headed towards Azure corporation.

The girl was in her own thoughts when she heard a faint voice besides her Telling her to pay attention saying...

"Mmm... My little fish .. !! He is too hot to handle. But still you must not forget your revenge baby." When she peeked at the owner of that voice, it was a little version of herself, a devil Scarlet sitting on her shoulder.

Before she could reply anything, she heard another voice saying...

"Yes, he is hot and he is your mate too. You should not plan any revenge scarf. Let it be." This time it was an angel Version of Scarlet siting over her another shoulder.

She wasn't able to decide whom to listen and whom not when they both started fighting and she just shrugged off murmuring...

"I won't back off. He should learn his lesson." And stepped inside the house.

Going straight into her room, she put on an elegant summer dress and applied some little makeup, because she needed to look extra alluring and beautiful for her plan to work. After getting out with a red sling bag tucked over her one shoulder, she stepped into a pair of light stilettoes and headed outside saying....

"Mom, I am leaving for market. I will see my friends after that. Bye mom. Bye dad. I love you... mummmuuuuuuaaaahhh" and blew some flying kisses to them.

~ PET SHOP-

Scarlet stepped inside the pet shop admiring the calm environment and felt relaxed. She wasn't a pet lover, but she didn't deny one too.

Sensing the presence of a new customer inside the shop, the lady who looked like she was in her forties, approached the girl and asked ...

"How may I help you mam?" Scarlet admired the lady who looked adorable and decent, quite like her own mother and then averted her gaze to let it roam around the pet shop.

When she successfully got what she wanted after witnessing a variety of animals like cats, dogs, bats, snakes, birds and rats etc., she smiled elegantly and victoriously which was enough for the lady to know that this girl had got what she was here for.

"Mam, this way please." The lady gestured her to follow her which she did and she took out that little animals out of the cage while handing It sophisticatedly to Scarlet. She played with it for some time and then commanded the lady to get it gift packed in am elegant way.

After getting out, she grinned mischievously and headed towards Azure corporation.

- AZURE CORPORATION-

It was a feast to the eyes of any observer the way with which this beautiful building was designed. It was breathtaking.

'I wonder, I am working with these people.' She thought in her mind and stepped inside the corporation.

Her stilettos tick-tocked over the marble floor and she was waling so elegant as if she was afraid of getting the tiles broken from the pressure of her heels. Approaching the closer area, she stopped at the reception counter only to find a little girl who looked like she was in her college years.

The little girl was quite sweet and beautiful. Her smile was alluring and charming at the same time. She was working on the computer while Scarlet was feeling like the people here were treating a some kind of food because the way they were looking at her, was making her uncomfortable.

The little girl felt presence of someone there and held her head up only to find a beautiful girl in front of her in her fullest glory with a beautiful summer dress a d a gift wrapped box in her hands standing like she was some kind of queen. Sparing another glance to the lady standing ahead of her,

"How may I help you mam?" asked that little receptionist girl to which scarlet answered...

"Hi, I wanted to see Mr. Azure ... Mr. Emerald Azure. Could you show me the way to his office..?" she was polite and smiling every now and then.

The little girl noticed the gift box for the second time that Scarf was holding and nodded her head saying...

"Miss, do you have appointment? Or you are a family member to boss??"

"I am a family member. My name is Scarlet Lozenge." As soon as she told her name, the receptionist looked at her like she was stunned and asked ...

" you.. are you the weapon Designer..?" which was answered as a nod by her.

"Miss... he is Robby ... he will show you the way to Mr. Azure's office." Said the girl telling a man to take her to Mr. Azure.

Scarlet thanked the girl and headed to his office. After they reached the floor, Robby excused himself while Scarlet knocked over the door and her knock was answered by Emerald saying..." Come in."

It was lunch time in Azure Corp and jack was also not there while Emmy was working. He had been trying his best to concentrate but all in vain. He was totally occupied by his little mate's thoughts and there she is walking to him in her fullest glory.

When he saw her coming towards him, his mouth corners lifted up in happiness and he got up from his sit while wrapping her in a side hug knowing perfectly well that although she was his Luna, still they need time to build the relationship. He made her sit and wrapped his files while keeping the laptop aside asking...

"Did you miss me that much that you are here after some hours..?"

'Indeed, he was a pervert, not leaving a single chance to flirt. She made it a mind note while saying...

"Actually, I am here because I wanted to gift you something. This is kind of token of my appreciation to what you did in my house. I mean, they are not aware about us and I want to tell them on my own. So, I want to thank you.."

Saying this, she handed him over the gift box which he had almost snatched from her and opened it immediately like someone was going to take it away, but when he looked inside, the only words which left his mouth were .... "F**k ..!!! Are you kidding me here..???" and yelled on top of his lungs calling his stupid Beta... "JACKKK.....!!!"
