"JACKKKKK.....!!"

The previously calm man who was smiling charmingly and was happy witnessing his dear mate in front of him was now raged to the extent that he didn't even mind to kill someone. His roar was like a thunderstorm which was enough for his poor beta to conclude that his dear life could be ended any time. Scarlet who was sitting proudly grinning ear to ear a fraction of second ago was now at loss and was shivering like a dried leaf on a cold chilling winter night begging in her mind to not get killed mercilessly. Listening to his roar, Jack who was t there in the office prior to this incident came running towards it and entered inside with a thud only to get welcomed by the most shocking view of his poor life.

His lord was holding an animal cage in his hands which was giving off a look like it had been wrapped as a gift package nicely while there was a .....

Rat..!' roaming on his desk freely.

No matter how cute that little creature was, still he knew how much his lord disgusted the Chinchillas because of past incident. Judging by the look over his face, he knew immediately that his lord was furious... furious to the extent that he was ready to kill. His red lavatic eyes were radiating death and reminding himself that he was the only one who told Luna (Scarlet) about his lord being disgusted with Rats that to especially with Chinchillas, he had dug out his own grave.

'Shit!! What have you done Luna?? Have I ever treated you badly?? Why did you do this to me?' pleaded Jack with his pathetic and puppy eyes to Scarlet who was also feeling bad for Jack.

She knew this could happen to Jack, but she had already shrugged the thought because of the little devil Scarlet sitting over her shoulder back then. Now she was cursing that devil while still being scared.

Both of them were talking through eyes while the man there was getting more tensed and raged looking at the mess that little rat was creating in his most adored office. Sparing a glance at the two people's faces, Emerald became even more furious and his eyes turned bloodshot. He grabbed her wrist harshly and nearly dragged her figure out of the office ordering jack to clean that mess.

"I wish you safety, Luna. If you survived today, I will treat it as a miracle." Wishing that he approached the office table which was made of the highest quality wood available in werealm over which that little cute creature, the so called Chinchilla was roaming as if he was wandering in some garden or some warehouse sniffing each and every thing like he was hoping to find food.

Slowly and swiftly Jack captured that creature and put it back in the cage. He kept the cage aside in a far away corner of the office and personally cleaned each and every corner that chinchilla had visited. After finishing his assigned job, he tried to mind-link with his alpha letting him know that he had done cleaning and moved that animal out of the office, but in vain. This was a sign that now Luna was going to witness his Alpha's wrath.

"I hope you are safe and you won't be scared my lady." Murmuring these words on his own, he carried the cage with him and kept the animal to himself until his Alpha's next order because he was pretty sure that his lord was furious and hence he told him to move the Chinchilla out but because it was a gift from Luna, so may be his lord would change his mind afterwards.

Over the other side, Scarlet was screaming on top of her lungs using all of her strength sitting besides Emerald in his Black Limo holding to all the nearby things dearly because he was driving insanely. The moment they left AZURE CORPORATION, she was thrown on the front seat of car with a thud and he had been driving like a maniac not minding of violating any traffic rules and leading to the outer area of City.

It had been full half an hour since he was like this and every now and then, she was telling him to drive slowly pleading that they could talk like civilized people, but he was like he had turned deaf ears to her talks.

"For God sake Emerald, Drive like a human.. not a maniac. You will kill me like this... Aaaahhh..." she yelled at him taking his name still shouting because they were just about to roll out of the road besides a cliff.

The car's speedometer was like it was headed to the moon and listening to her calling him by his name for the first time, his tensed muscles and nerves got relaxed somehow, so applying the brakes and talking a turn, he stopped the car which created a screeching sound that was deafening enough making all the little animals present besides that jungle area run for their dear lives.

Stepping out of the car still raged he dragged her out and started heading to god knows where. That was when she realised that he was still mad and with a strong jerk she separated herself from him using her power because for her human form it wasn't possible to do at all.

He was upset even more by her action and pinned her to the nearby tree clasping both of her arms in his one hand while his other hand was holding her waist tightly which Scarlet was sure of would leave marks.

"What the hell do you think you did?? You clearly knew that I disgust rats and still you gifted me the same...!!!???" yelling he turned even more raged which was enough to scare her to the core. She didn't reply anything because by now she had realised that she did make a mistake. She shouldn't have gone so overboard just for her little revenge.

Yes, in front of his beasty sight, now her revenge seem to be so little. Getting no reply from her side, he yelled once more....

"WHY ...??" to which she jolted and his hold on her tightened even more causing her to wince in pain.

Witnessing his dear mate wincing in pain because of him was the least thing he wanted to do, hence he was taken over by his wolf. Scarlet gasped in fear and corners herself even more letting her whole body stick to the tree when she heard a loud snarling and howling voice.

She looked up only to find a huge black wolf looking at her through his green eyes as if he was sucking her soul. Howling even more loudly, he retracted his sharp claws and touched the side of her face gently like she was a feather.

He wasn't raged but upset. He found her after so many years of yearning and there she was behaving like a child and used the most hated part of his nature to tease him just for her revenge and that too what for ?? .. A kiss???

She was his mate now. If she was up to the revenge for that thing, what would she do in future? This was a matter of concern for him. He was still touching her face while being lost in his own thoughts. She wasn't able to register what he was up to. Was he going to kill here?

'I have raged him enough. He will kill me for sure. Nobody would be able to find my body here when I am too far away from the city! These thoughts were lingering inside her mind when she felt something.

His paw touched her cheeks and felt moistened. Enquiring properly, he found hot stream of tears flowing through her eyes. Although she was also having powers, but it was happening because of the mate bond that she was not able to use her powers against him, or she didn't want to use !!!

Just when he frowned looking at the tears gushing out of her drowning oceanic eyes, he heard her murmuring ....

"I am sorry... please.. don... don't kill me. I won't do it again."

Though her words were more like a whisper to him, yet his sensitive ears were alarmed. He was paining to know that he had scared his own mate whom he adored dearly inspite of the fact that their mate bond was just one day older.

Taking a few steps back, he snarled once more and just when she thought that he was about to pounce on her, she felt the soft fur against her skin which was soothing.

She shoot open her eyes only to get amazed and shocked when she found him snuggling to her with his abdominal fur touching her face while he was crouching down. It was his way of showing her that she should not be afraid and he won't harm her. Also, the way his ears were hanging and his tail was tucked in his legs.... This was enough for her to know that she was saved for the moment.

Being excited and over-joyed, she pounced over him like she had found someone long lost and hugged his huge frame using her tiny figure making him chuckle to the fact that she was no way close to his abdomen and was just snuggling with his forepaws. "Promise..!!" he asked her using his softer tone still in his wolf form to which she nodded and smiled faintly while thanking the heavens for saving her from his wrath.
