Anything For You
Chapter 85

The four people were totally calm by now, despite of being aware of the fact that they could encounter any danger in their path. They were depending on each other, or more probably on Akhim, who had a meet with The Witch, who himself was depending on Egon, in case anything went wrong.

Egon had been restless, since his mind had been calculating all the words he had to say to the witch. He had been formulating and destroying the ideas, and situations that could lead to a harmonious conversation between him and the witch. It was all because Akhim told him that the witch had no worries, and she lived her whole life, living it to the fullest. But she got offended easily if one didn't pay attention to the choice of words while talking to her.

Estella and Valor had been doing the same calculations, but they weren't aware of the nature that this magic prodigy possessed. While Akhim was the only one, who was here assisting all these people, and had no questions. He desired no help from the witch. When he talked her for the first time, she only agreed to seek audience with his friends, because he was doing a good deed helping his friends selflessly.

Some moments of travelling more, and they all were now in the middle of a residential area. Akhim relaxed his perplexed nerves and suggested,

"We have crossed the magical barrier. Now you all can take off your eye bands, and see what's ahead."

They all obliged, and were stunned the next moment. The beauty, and scenery was bewitching, and why wouldn't it be! After all, it was a magic village. There were numerous houses, all of different designs and patterns, as if the same number of craftsmen were invited to build them from different locations. Since, it was night by now, a few people were seen outside the houses. Other seem to had been asleep.

"I have never seen such a beautiful place in my entire life. It's.... It's beauty is beyond words."

Estella enthusiastically and excitedly spoke up, making Egon and Valor to chuckle at the same time, and gaze each other intensely, while Akhim just shook his head helplessly.

"Indeed, it's a very beautiful village. I can sense the strong and domineering aura in the air. May be it's ages old, and also magical."

Egon inhaled a mouthful of fresh air, which he had been longing since a long time. He had never seen such a calm and beautiful village in his own kingdom too.

The lanterns were hanging in air by the small sandalwood doors of all houses, lighting up to a limited intensity, showing the presence of magic in that village. Despite of the night, moon light was falling over the ground, and made the grasses look extra black in color, and the ground as if it was covered by moon snow.

Wherever the gaze of any observer went, it appeared to be simple, yet elegant and calming. The village's every nook and corner looked it was especially designed to soothe mind, body and soul.

"So relaxing!" Valor Murmured and stepped down of his horse. He had never seen any place, so calm. It was a feeling beyond description.

"I think, we should ask someone about the witch. The night is getting deeper. We must see her before she gets irritated." Akhim suggested to Egon, merely like a whisper to which Egon nodded, and both the men stepped down. They started heading to the direction in which some villagers were standing and talking. Before leaving, Egon warned Estella to stay put, and not roam around.

While the duo approached the villagers, Valor continued to roam here and there exploring the beautiful scenery.

"Pardon me, Could you please help us?" Egon asked one of the villagers, trying to be extra polite. The villager gave him a 'who-are-you' look, and then nodded his head.

The tensed muscles of Egon's jaw line relaxed a bit, and he formulated the next sentence word by word,

"Actually, we are here to meet Lady EVANORA YOUNGBLOOD. Could you show the way to her residence? We are new here."

He tried to brief the reason for asking help, and the villager complied. He narrated the way, and both the men excused themselves after thanking the villager, who again got indulged into his chit-chat with the peer group.

Just when they were about to ride on their horses, a paper sparrow came towards Egon from the left side, and landed over his shoulder. Not only the duo, but Estella who had been glued to her spot because of Egon's strict warning and Valor who had a short trip in the nearby area of village, were surprised watching this.

Taking them all off-guard, the paper sparrow started talking,

"I, EVANORA YOUNGBLOOD, welcome you all in our Holy village SARAINE. I was supposed to meet you, but something came up in the last moment. So, I hereby am sending this little one to guide you all in the visitor area of our village, where you could stay and rest for the time being. I will shortly send someone to fetch you for our meeting."

Conveying this message, the little paper sparrow started flapping it's tiny paper wings, gesturing all of them to follow it.

"Oh Lord! Am I really watching a piece of paper talking?" Valor whispered in Estella's ears, who giggled sheepishly. She was overjoyed and excited to see all these magical things.

"You little white, don't mock at me. I am here to fulfil the task assigned to me by my master. Just follow." The sparrow grunted faking off anger emotions, which was another surprising thing for all of them. They just followed it, while a pair of eyes were still watching them from afar, and was grinning from ear to ear.

After the group of those four people departed from the entrance point of SARAINE VILLAGE along with the talking paper sparrow, the pair of eyes, came into light. The owner was a man with a dark silhouette, and his figure emitted a mysterious aura. The appearance was quite a scary one, with large protruding eyes, and thick eyebrows.

He looked like a rogue walking on the ground. Adding more to that, his clothes were scary sending off a feeling of trepidation. He moved taking one step at a time, and looked here and there as if he was about to get caught in an act of robbery. His steps were discrete, and his gait was careful. His pace halted when he reached the spot where the group of people were standing prior to him.

Bending his body down to the ground, he picked up a handful of soil from the ground where the footprints of all of them were present, and carefully sniffed it. Afterwards, he kept all the four people's footprints containing soil in four different tiny bags. Tucking all the bags into his waist band which was quite a loose one, he once again looked here and there, to ensure that nobody had been watching him, and sneaked away from there, with an evil smile never leaving his devilish lips. ~DESTINY LAND~

"Waoo sister, have you seen that? That paper sparrow!! Sister, you are the goddess of fate, you can give me a paper sparrow for sure. Please, please, pretty please, give me one. That one was so cute."

Choice was whining since the, she had seen that paper sparrow, who had been a cute creature for her.

Destiny glared at her noisy sister. Ignoring her whining, she carried on with her scriptures, that she had been assigned to decipher by Myna.

Choice noted the expressions of her sister, and her face turned gloomy and down casted. She hanged her head lower and sat down in her sit. But after a lapse of certain minutes, her eyes gloomed with enthusiasm. An idea popped up in her mind, and she at once approached Destiny.

Plucking a strand of her sister Destiny's hair, Choice enchanted a spell after closing her eyes, and soon the strand turned into a sparrow. It soon started chirping. Destiny became raged at once, but looking at her sister's happy face, she ignored the rage and both of them joined in playing with that little flying sparrow.
