Anything For You
Chapter 86

-AWAY FROM SARAINE VILLAGE-

A man was arranging things, absurd things which looked like they were used in some kind of magic practice, in a shabby hut two miles away from the border of SARAINE VILLAGE, maniacally, murmuring something, which was audible only to himself. His torn clothes and rogue appearance was sufficient to let anyone know that he was definitely up to something pretty dangerous.

He was none other than the man from a previous night, who had been following the group of Four people, and took the sand of SARAINE VILLAGE which had their footprints over it. He had been looking here and there again, as if someone was watching him. Smiling in an evil way, he sat down over the ground, not minding his appearance and the stains of different powders on the ground, crossing his legs. Taking a container, he extracted a little octopus using his hands. The animal was still alive. Fetching an empty bowl from his side, he placed the animal into that bowl and poured fresh blood over it, chanting something in his mouth, which was still not audible.

Soon after, the animal started to move as if it felt tormented, and the man's lips curved into a devilish smile. Laughing stupidly, he fetched the animal, and hanged it in air. Holding it from its head, he took a sharp shiny silver knife. The animal gazed over that sharp object, and got its eyes glued over it. Poor thing, didn't know what was coming ahead for him.

In another moment, there was a splash of blue colored liquid all over the man's hands and his already stained clothes, along with some of the drops falling on the ground, while a whole lot of stream was flowing into the bowl containing red blood. The animal was butchered mercilessly, and the blue liquid was it's blood.

The man filled the blood bowl with that blue blood, and threw away the dead creature. Putting his one hand into the bowl and mixing the contents, he kept on chanting the words, which were first coming out just like a whisper, but later on became louder. His eyes were still shut tightly, as if he was watching something with his closed eyes.

After a moment or two, he opened his eyes immediately. They were bloodstained, as if emitting lava. Taking his waist band, he fetched all the tiny bags containing sand which he brought from SARAINE VILLAGE previously, he divided the contents of that bowl into four parts.

Sniffing and inhaling the mixed scent of blood, he emptied all the bags in all the four parts, and sat calmly to observe the changes, while still chanting something.

Soon, one of the bowls changed its color to green, making him laugh like a demon and a maniac. He had raised his both hands in air, and continued laughing as if got everything he had been desiring since a long time. But his eyebrows creased a bit, when he noticed the color change in two other bowls.

Smirking evilly, he whispered to himself,

"Hmm, looks like this time Demon God is also with me. I had been looking for you since ages, and now I have got two more. Interesting!!"

His sinister and evil laugh reverberated in the whole of that hut, shrieking the poor souls of little creatures nearby, who cornered themselves in fear.

The man hauled up from his sit after a few moments, packed all his necessary stuffs which contained many colored powders, some herbs, potions, and some glass containers containing little living snakes into a bag. He tied the bag over his one shoulder, and in the falling night, set out for SARAINE VILLAGE again, to conquer his long awaited mission.

~SARAINE VILLAGE~

The group of all fours had settled themselves pretty comfortably in the nearby resting area of village, as shown by the paper sparrow. The little paper bird was still flapping it's tiny wings, and was looking at all the four people who appeared to be amazed still. The tiny creature mind-slapped itself, and chirped,

"I know... it's hard to believe. But I am for real. You don't have to look at me like I am some kind of a monster, with your eye balls almost popping out of the sockets. And you little white fellow, don't mock at me in your tiny head.

Now you all should rest. It's pretty late. Master will seek audience with the two of you in the morning, and you know where to meet her."

The bird said pointing it's small paper beak at Egon and Akhim. Before flying out, it looked at Estella, and then at Valor almost glaring with its tiny round black eyes, sending him a sense of fear, which he ignored.

All the four ones settled into their respective resting places, while closing their eyes off and drifting into sleep, since they had been tired from a long journey after having their meals.

The next day, morning sun had risen from below the horizon, making the ground nearly orange with its rays sending life to all the plants and animals, warming the cooled soil. The water looked extra orange with a tinge of crimson blue as if it was behaving shy after being sun-kissed.

A beautiful girl was bathing in the water of this lake, which was present in the north corner of SARAINE VILLAGE. She was none other than Estella. Humming a melody, she seemed to be happy and relaxed. The crystal clear water made her skin looked extra glassy and ravishing.

While she was in her own la la land, someone had his gaze fixed over her bare back from far away. He took out some wooden beads, blew them with his mouth, his eyes shut tightly, and threw them into the lake in close proximity to where Estella had been taking a bath. Within an instant, a giant snake like figure appeared behind her bare back, and the man grinned sheepishly murmuring,

"So, you are the one. Let's prepare for the feast."

Estella wasn't aware of all this, but she definitely felt someone's presence behind her. Reflexively, she turned her body, covering herself with her hands, to find the one who had been prying over her, but found no one. Shaking off the idea, she continued with her early morning bath. Her ears caught the voice in the next moment,

"I didn't know that you are an early riser." Egon's calm yet alluring voice hit her ear drums, and she smiled faintly.

Gesturing him to hand over her clothes, which she took off at the lake side before stepping into it, she forwarded her hand while still her back facing him. Egon fetched the clothes, and handed over to her, which she immediately used to cover herself. Stepping out of the lake, she moved towards Egon slowly. The sun was coming up, and it was now over her head, making her look like a goddess walking out of water. Egon felt happy and calm, while his eyes moved to her wet hairs, which had been dripping the water over her bare shoulders making her look delicious.

Feeling himself getting carried away by her alluring beauty, he composed himself and forced a respectable and humane smile over his lips, which were almost dying to take her lips. He handed her a fresh piece of cloth to wipe out the extra dripping water from her long, waterfall like hairs.

Estella looked at him, and responded. While in that swift moment, their hands touched each other and both of them felt the spark, like a lightning running down their veins. Egon stepped back hastily, not understandable what had just happened. While, Estella found herself alone by the side of that lake. She looked here and there, almost everywhere hoping to find Egon, but he was nowhere. Soon, the lake besides her almost disappeared, and she found herself standing on white snowy ground covered with blood. She got scared. Looking at the scenario around her, she confirmed a huge and bloody massacre.

While she was still wandering and noting what had been happening around her, Egon was calling her again and again, not knowing why she appeared to be lost.

"Estella.... Estella.... Estella..!"

Listening to someone calling her name repeatedly, Estella jerked off and came back to her senses. Spotting Egon in front of her, looking worried, she forced a smile, which came as an assurance to Egon that she was fine. Before he could question her about what had happened, and where was she just lost, she moved towards the other side saying, "Let's go. We should head back now. It's almost morning, and you have to go meet EVANORA YOUNGBLOOD too."

Egon nodded in agreement and followed Estella. But a man from afar was observing everything keenly. After the duo left, he hastily approached the lake, and retrieved those wooden beads, while heading towards his hiding place in the SARAINE VILLAGE.
