Chapter 110: Stanley ‘STAN’ Norris vs. Ian ‘WILL’ Williams ~ The Perfect Match!
***
Will gasped, totally shocked at what he was seeing. Stan looked absolutely fabulous standing behind the mic with a cocky grin on his face. The orchestra had already started playing the instrumental intro to the song he was about to sing. "Love you too, Slip," Stan blew Paige a kiss. "So, as she said, I've never done anything like this. But when the love of your life tells you a particular song makes him hard, you don't have any choice but to practice it and give him the performance of your life." The guest erupted into laughter and more applause. "I mean look at him..." he gestured at Will who although still looked shocked, was laughing. "Who wouldn't want to keep him...hard?" The laughter was earsplitting. Stan waited until the excitement died down. The orchestra kept playing the entire time. The warrior trained his eyes on his mate and then said with so much feeling;
"The first time we met, the world melted away together with every strength in my body...literally." Stan saw Will's eyes go wide with realization and nodded slowly... "Yes. Then I saw those dimples and just knew that I was going to worship and love you for the rest of my life." The audience remained quiet. They knew how important a moment it was. "I didn't just give you a piece of me, Will. I gave you all of me." The orchestra took the sound up a notch. "This is for you, baby. You are my everything." Then with utter sexiness, he started belting out the lyrics of Barry White's 'The First, The Last, My Everything'.
With a squeal, Sharon shot to her feet and started to dance. Clearly, it wasn't only her brother who loved the song. Others got to their feet to dance too because Stan was that good. But unlike the ecstatic guests, Will looked absolutely gobsmacked. He stared at his mate whose eyes were locked on his, loving his sexy moves. He heard Stan sing sometimes but it was usually in a joking manner. Definitely nothing like what he was listening to at that very moment. Will felt goosebumps break out all over his body as he listened to Stan. His mate sounded so sexy and romantic he was just blown away.
"Hmm...try not to get hard darling." Will heard Gaia murmuring in his ear but didn't take his eyes off Stan.
"Gaia, I'm just..." Will croaked.
"Shhh...this is the best part," the vampire breathed just as Stan started singing the second stanza...
In you, I've found so many things
A love so new only you could bring
Can't you see if you
You make me feel this way
You're like a first morning dew
On a brand new day
I see so many ways that I
Can love you, 'til the day I die
You're my reality, yet I'm lost in a dream
You're the first, the last, my everything
Will got to his feet and began to move slowly towards the stage as though he was in a trance. The urge to touch and taste his mate was overwhelming. Everyone virtually held their breath and watched him. He got to Stan just as he was about to start the final stanza. They reached for each other's hand. Then Stan sang;
I know there's only, only one like you
There's no way they could have made two
Boy you're my reality
But I'm lost in a dream
You're the first, you're the last, my everything
And even as the orchestra played the final instrumentals, Stan dropped the mic and stared at his mate with all the love he had for him in his eyes.
"I meant every word," he breathed as he reached out to wipe at Will's cheeks, his own eyes suspiciously bright. "That was supposed to make you hard, not emotional," he whispered, eliciting a tremulous smile from Will.
"You stole my heart, Stan," Will whispered shakily as he reached out to cup one side of Stan's face. "But I'll let you keep it." He struggled to reign in his emotions. "I don't even know how it's possible but every day, I fall in love with you more and more. Well, not last Tuesday. You were pretty annoying."
Stan laughed softly. "That angry sex was so worth it though."
"I will always wonder what I did to deserve you," Will breathed. He'd found a man who was not only gorgeous, but also patient, intelligent, generous, fun, and understanding. His Stan was the very personification of love. Indeed, he'd found his perfect match. "I will love you until the very last beat of my heart."
Stan shrugged with an air of mock nonchalance even as a tear slid down his own cheek. "You kinda don't have a choice." And with that cocky response, he took his mate's mouth in the steamiest of kisses to cheers from their audience. Even though so many people surrounded them, speaking quietly just to each other made it so intimate, emotional, and absolutely beautiful. The supernatural beings understood, respected, and even envied what Stan and Will meant to each other. But in the eyes of humans, there was still a level that spoke volumes when reached by a couple. Stan had every intention of reaching that level. A huge part of his mate's life was linked with the human world. They both therefore had that human aspect of Will's life to contend with. Stan's aim was to make it known to everyone that he and Will fully belonged to each other. And there was only one way to do that.
The warrior took a step back from his mate, dipped a hand into his pocket, took out a small black box, and then went down on a knee to screams from the enthralled audience. A surprised but laughing Will didn't wait to be asked. He thrust his fingers at his mate to thunderous cheers from everyone, especially the humans. His blatant show of eagerness only seemed to fuel their excitement. The sudden burst of fireworks that boldly spelt S&W the Perfect Match, blew everyone's mind but shocked Stan as he hadn't planned anything like that. He slipped the ring onto Will's finger and stood up to scan the cheering audience with shocked eyes.
"Ryan..." he breathed when his eyes landed on a grinning Ryan. The cheeky wink that the mate of the alpha of all alphas gave Stan told him all he needed to know. 'That was beautiful. Thank you,' he said on his mind-link to Ryan. 'Be happy.' Ryan whispered to both men even as the fireworks spread overhead to beautifully cover the entire auditorium to the shocked delight of everyone.
When DJ Snake's captivating 'Turn Down for What' suddenly filled the hall, it drew everyone to their feet. And as they danced with abandon and utter delight, Stan and Will threw it down on that stage, seducing each other with their uninhibited moves. As the music pounded through them, their bodies moved sensually against each other as if there were no clothes between them. It was hot, sexy, and magical.
What Stan and Will felt for each other was fierce, sweet, and unquenchable. For them, the universe had conspired to bring them together. And they planned on keeping it that way by growing old together and creating beautiful memories with every moment spent with each other.
