Chapter 71: Stanley ‘STAN’ Norris vs. Ian ‘WILL’ Williams ~ The introduction!

In the huge stylish foyer, a pretty red-head stared at the two hunks who entered with eyes that looked as if they were about to pop out of their sockets. "Hey, Clara." Stan grinned as he headed towards the elevator with Will.

"They said you were coming with your mate." Clara sounded shocked.

"Well, this is my mate." Stan drawled as they stepped into the elevator.

Will raised a hand to wave at a screaming Clara just the elevator door shut. He shook his head at the smug look on Stan's face.

"You're enjoying this aren't you?" Will murmured.

Stan pushed Will back until he couldn't move anymore. Then he pushed one side of the collar of his shirt down and latched onto his mark without warning.

"Oh shit, Stan don't," But Will's actions belied his words. His fingers had slipped into Stan's hair to told his head against his neck as he expertly sucked on him. "Fuck," he writhed as his eyes rolled back in irrepressible pleasure.

Stan eventually moved his lips from that mark to Will's mouth and ravaged his mouth with a gentle but possessive kiss. By the time he was done with him, the soldier was trembling and hard.

"Now that, I enjoyed." Stan breathed as he finally hit the button for the third floor. "I love it when you look...dazed."

When the elevator opened and Will made no move to step out, Stan raised a brow questioningly. His curious expression turned into a huge grin when Will gestured at his bulging groin.

"I can't meet them like this." He shrugged.

"Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem around these parts but I can see why it is for you." The mock thoughtful look that appeared on his face earned him the finger from Will. "Did I tell you how sexy I think Sharon is?" Stan relaxed casually against the elevator's door frame. "You sure she's nine months pregnant?"

Will started to laugh. "You're a fool."

"It worked, didn't it." They started for the dining room. "Your sister is sexy, for real."

"Will you shut up."

"This is it," Stan muttered just as he opened the door.

The howls, whistling, clapping, and cheers that met them was deafening. Even the servers were banging pans and cheering along. Everyone was on their feet. Stan laughed but Will looked gobsmacked. He moved forward to say hello to the people gathered, starting with Jeremy. As a soldier, he understood protocol.

"Welcome home." Jeremy grinned as he hugged Will.

"Thank you." Will felt genuine joy. He hugged Philip next.

"The man of the moment!" Philip grinned. "As you can see, we've all been dying to see you here. The rest of the welcoming party are on their way."

"There's more? I'm humbled." Will shook his head, completely overwhelmed by all the attention.

He hugged Ryan, Troy, Pete, and George all of whom he'd met on the zoom call. When his eyes fell on Paige, that naughty streak within him reared its ugly head. Will assumed his best 'I'm irresistible to women' look and then beckoned sexily with a finger to the amusement of the others.

"Someone owes me a kiss." He drawled, ignoring Stan's groan.

"You bet I do." Paige began to strut with deliberate slowness, allure, and sassiness towards Will. "Hello, handsome," she purred when she got to him, licking her lips as though she'd seen something she was dying to taste. "For fuck's sake, Paige," Ryan groaned but no one spared him a glance. Not even Stan.

Paige placed a hand on Will's shoulder and slowly circled him. She stopped in front of him and reached up to coil her arms around Will's neck just as he wrapped an arm around her waist. Then almost as if in slow motion, he drew her to his body and began to lower his head...

"Alright, cut cut..." Stan shouted, making everyone burst into laughter.

"Aw zip it, Stanislav." Philip scoffed. "This isn't a movie set."

"Y'all going to allow her to do this?" Stan addressed Jeremy and Philip. "Have you forgotten what she wins after the last one?"

"We don't have any choice at this point." Jeremy drawled. "Even if she doesn't do this, she kinda wins anyway since she got the most kisses.

"Yeah, what is one more kiss?" Philip drawled. "Go ahead, Slip," he called out to his sister who was struggling to stop her laughter. "Stanny boy can't escape this." The alpha's chuckle was downright wicked.

"Shit!" Stan groaned. The winner of their pact got three wishes, to be granted by each of the other three. "This is not good." He shook his head.

"Now, let's give them something to talk about." Paige grinned as she went on her toes and met Will halfway.

They kissed. Although there was no tongue play, it was a good kiss. Will ended the kiss with a perfect dip which Paige had definitely not anticipated. The resulting cheers were resounding. When Will straightened Paige up, she hugged him tightly as they both laughed.

"You guys ready for me?" Paige smirked when she stepped out of Will's arms. "Oh, I'm going to enjoy this." She rubbed her hands together gleefully.

"What exactly was all this about?" Will chuckled, amused by the look on Stan, Jeremy, and Philip's faces.

"A bet." Stan drawled. "I'll tell you all about it. Just know she cheated."

"How?" Paige gasped.

"I mean witchy Amber here wouldn't even allow me near..."

"You getting your nugget smashed because you don't have game is your problem, not mine. I didn't ask you not to kiss Ryan or Troy, did I?"

"She has a point," Jeremy murmured.

"The hell she does." Stan's growl was directed at Amber who was laughing her arse off.

"Come to think of it, the playing field wasn't level, to begin with." Philip concurred. "She had all the advantage."

"Hey, don't blame me if y'all don't have balls." Paige laughed. "Will, this is Amber, my mate." Paige kissed Amber's temple. When the witch stretched out a hand for a handshake, Will ignored it and hugged her. "And this is..."

"Kate." A drop-dead gorgeous, curvy, dark-skinned lady murmured as she smiled up at Will whose eyes immediately filled with amused admiration. "Good to see you again." At Will's confused look, she added, "First time I saw you, you were fast asleep."

"She's our head warrior and also a very successful model," Paige added proudly. "I think she arranged for groceries to be taken to your place once. You were asleep when she got there."

"So you were the one, huh?" Will mumbled as his eyes swung to his mate as if to say 'really?'. "Thank you. I wouldn't mind seeing you in a silhouette challenge though, ma'am." He drawled as he hugged Kate.

"I'll take that as a compliment." Kate laughed.

"Please do." Will laughed but his eyes remained on Stan. "You'd definitely bring the house down."

"Wait..." Paige certainly didn't miss the look that passed between Will and Stan. "Y'all have your own version of a mind-link or something?"

"What's that?" Will asked as he stepped back from Kate.

"That's where you two can communicate with your minds." Troy quipped.

"Y'all can do that?" Will looked pleasantly surprised. "That's a new one." He chuckled.

"It's really cool." Troy nodded. "Wait till he marks you."

"But he's already marked me." Will shrugged.

"What!" Almost everyone in the room gasped in shock even as Stan groaned.

Will looked at his mate, saw how glum he looked, and chuckled. "You know, this would be an amazing time to be able to do this mind thing with you. Why the fuck didn't you tell me I shouldn't make it known to anyone that I have your mark? Listen people," he addressed everyone, "he didn't have a choice." Stan groaned again but Will didn't look like he even heard his mate's misery. "It was either he marked me or I walked."

"What?" Paige's confusion was mirrored by the others. "How?"

"I asked to be marked." Will shrugged. "I mean seriously, people do magic tricks all the time. So he can turn into a wolf. Big deal," he scoffed. "I needed more than mere visuals. I wanted to feel something. He was going to do it eventually after all so..." "How the fuck did you heal?" Jeremy gasped.

"Well, you see..." Stan started but trailed off when the door opened to reveal two older women and a man. "Saved by the bell," He muttered. "Will, come and say hello to these old bones." The newcomers laughed.
