Arrow Inferno
Chapter 87: Stanley ‘STAN’ Norris vs. Ian ‘WILL’ Williams ~ Remorseful!

***

Stan was so tired after that whole ordeal of watching his mate transform, fighting rogues, and then taking his first dick he had a deep sleep. He woke up to the delicious smell of coffee and the sweet sight of his mate sitting beside him in bed,

smiling at him.

"Thanks," he murmured as he took the hot cup of coffee from Will.

"There's something I need to tell you," Will said.

"Oh, oh, should I be worried?"

"It's nothing bad," Will assured him. "First of all, I hope I didn't hurt you last night."

"No, you didn't." Stan took a sip of his coffee with an amused glint in his eyes. "You lay some dame good pipe, soldier."

Will laughed at that. "Good, 'cause I intend to lay more of such." He went quiet for a moment before speaking again. "When I marked you, I felt all that you felt for me. I must admit it's very humbling. I didn't know you felt all that for me. Just the thought of what I felt from you brings me so much joy and makes me emotional. I promise to do my very best not to disappoint you."

"I know you won't," Stan nodded as he looked at his mate.

"There's this other thing," Will went on. "I noticed how much you struggled to submit when I..." "Will..."

"Allow me to finish please," Will said softly. "I understand, Stan. I don't expect that to be easy for you. But I want you to know that I will always respect your wishes. I'll never disrespect you. Not in our bed or in front of others. Never!"

*

Stan groaned, remembering how he'd stared speechlessly at Will when he'd vowed never to disrespect him just the day before. It was simply amazing how Will was always able to speak right to his heart. And remembering that made Stan feel even more stupid for how he'd behaved. He'd seen the effort it had taken the soldier not to get into a fight with him in front of his friends. That only confirmed just how much Will had meant what he'd told him. And that only shamed him even

more.

He sent a quick prayer to Luna to make the meeting with Deloris and Gloria successful to enable Will to execute his duties without a supernatural hitch whilst on that mission. But even as he did that, he couldn't help but acknowledged to himself the main reason he was so upset. And it had nothing to do with Will wolfing out during a mission.

**

Will took deep breaths just to calm himself as he dialed his supervisor, Ty Wesley's home number. Ty hadn't picked up his cell phone so Will had decided to call his home instead.

"Hello." One of Ty's twin daughters picked up.

"Is this my Bunny-Boo or my Bubby-Boo?" Will asked.

"Uncle Will..." That scream from the little girl was all it took for Will's anger to dissipate. "It's your Bubby Boo." The little girl laughed delightedly.

"And how is my sweet Bubby doing today?" Will laughed as he sat on the bed and relaxed against the headboard.

"I'm very well, Uncle Will. When are you coming to see us?"

Before Will could respond, he heard Ty's wife asking her daughter to hand over the phone. He also heard the little girl protesting that she wasn't done speaking with Uncle Will. He laughed. "Will?" Tanesha chuckled.

"You need to report yourself to the nearest police station immediately, Ma'am."

"And what is my offence?" Tanesha laughed.

"For interrupting a discussion of national importance."

Tanesha laughed even harder. "Sue me. Hope you're good, darling."

"Peachy. I'll come around one of these days for a visit. I miss the girls." He planted one booted foot on the bed and admired the design on it as he spoke.

"That would be great. Just let me know when so that I can prepare some scrumptious meals for you to take back home," She said. "Bachelors lives matter." They both erupted into laughter. "Let me get Ty."

As Will waited, he couldn't help but smile at that last part. Who said he was a bachelor, he chuckled. He was definitely more married than most. Married to an annoying douche whom he loved very much, he snorted. Just as Will started talking to Ty, he heard the door to their suite open. Then he smelt Stan and instantly felt his mouth water. If only he could stay angry at the idiot, he groaned silently.

Will watched as Stan came into view. The warrior just stood in the doorway and looked at him, remorse etched across his face. He made no attempt to come in any further. They stared at each other, the look of regret and glum on Stan's face tugging at Will's heartstrings. With a deep exhale, he beckoned at Stan with his index finger.

Stan went to Will and stood by his side, hoping that his mate would end the call to enable him say what he'd come to say. But Will only reached for his hand and pulled him down to sit between his legs. Stan sat and leaned against Will with a foot on the rug by Will's and the other leg lying on the bed. He allowed his head to loll back on Will's shoulder and completely relaxed. When Ty took another call and asked Will to hold on, he began to drop tiny kisses on Stan's cheek. Stan couldn't suppress his contented sigh which was also filled with relief.

'Are you going to end the call any time soon?' he asked on their mind-link. 'I need to talk to you.'

'Not anytime soon,' Will responded. 'Ty is going over some details so it will take a while.'

'I will come back later then. I don't want to eavesdrop on your strategic planning.'

'I'd rather you stayed here with me.' Will maneuvered them such that Stan ended up on his back with him on top. He closed the gap between their lips and kissed him softly. 'Care to tell me what happened back there? What was that all about?' 'I'm sorry.' Stan said simply.

'I know you are.' Another kiss. 'But I'll like to know what your main problem is. Are you just concerned about me wolfing out or there's...'

'I'm not ready to let you go, Will,' Stan groaned. 'I'm just not ready."

'And you think calling me stupid will make me stay?'

"I'm sorry."

"You wanted a fight," Will said softly. "But why?" he looked curious.

Stan groaned. 'Seeing you acting so nonchalant back there as if you had no problem whatsoever leaving me... It hurt. In that instant it was either I got angry or...' he trailed off but the expression on his face said it all. The warrior was trying not to break down.

'Aw Stan.' Then Will began to kiss his mate in earnest, which was what Ty heard when he came back on the line.

"Are you kissing someone right now?" Ty sounded incredulous on the other end.

"Yes." Will paused long enough to murmured, and then went right back to sucking face.

"You must be shitting me," Ty gasped.

"You do it to me all the time so shut up," Will mumbled.

"Tell me I'm not on fucking speaker right now."

"You're not on fucking speaker right now," Will repeated, drawing silent laughter from Stan.

"Which of them is it this time?" Ty smirked. "Anna? Bridget? Ash..."

"Stan."

"Huh?" Ty sounded as though he wasn't sure of what he'd heard. "Did you say..." "Stan, Ty. I said Stan."

"Stanly fucking Norris?" Ty sounded like he was being fed the juiciest bullshit.

"The one and only." Will chuckled. It was obvious he was enjoying himself.

After a moment of silence, Ty seemed to regain his ability to speak. "What...did you hear my question? I asked..."

"...which of them I was kissing," Will chuckled. "And I'm saying I'm kissing Stan."

"Put it on speaker." Ty couldn't mask the disbelief in his voice. "I need to speak to him to believe this."

"Have I ever lied to you?"

"No, but this is... Put him on the line, fucker?"
