Arrow Inferno
Chapter 88: Stanley ‘STAN’ Norris vs. Ian ‘WILL’ Williams ~ Forgiven!

***

"Hello, Ty," Stan spoke with calm confidence, trying not to laugh. Ty had been his initial partner for the training of the recruits of the Arrowheads. But he'd had to handle another assignment so Will had been assigned to help him instead. "It's

been a while. All good?"

"You had one job, Stan," Ty drawled. "Train the fucking recruits. That was it."

At this point, both Stan and Will were roaring with laughter. "Blame your man, Tyler," Stan said when he could control his laughter. "He kissed me in the middle of an argument."

"What?" Will gasped.

"What the fuck?" Ty all but bellowed. "Are you sure he didn't trip and touch your lips with his by accident?" they could hear the amusement in the Arrowhead's voice.

"Oh, so his tongue slipped into my mouth by acci..."

"Enough!" Ty couldn't stop laughing on the other end. "I'm going to leave you two to...do whatever it is you're doing." He chuckled. "Call back when you're done, Williams. It was great talking to you, Stan."

Will ended the call, flung his phone onto the bed, and then slipped his fingers into the hair of a grinning Stan. "Now, where were we?"

"I was apologizing," Stan husked as Will licked at a corner of his mouth.

"After that," The soldier murmured sexily.

Stan rolled them over and got on top. "I believe we were here..." Then he proceeded to kiss Will senseless. "I wish I could go with you," he murmured against Will's lips when the kiss ended. "I can't stand the thought of being without you," he groaned, rolling off Will and onto his back. "How are you even taking this so coolly?"

"I'm not happy about it if that's what you're implying." Will levered up onto his elbow and looked down at Stan who had flung an arm over his eyes. "And we could have actually gotten the Admiral to agree to that if he didn't know we were fucking." He chuckled, pulling Stan's arm away from his eyes.

"Really?"

Will nodded. "You could have simply told him you wanted to have a feel of a typical mission to enable you to put together a better program for recruits. And he would have allowed it. After all, you are now our trainer." He shrugged. "But you had to kiss me in the man's house."

"Shit!"

"Yes. Shit." Will laughed.

"Why can't you just sit this one out?" Stan groaned.

"I've been sitting a lot out of late in case you haven't noticed." Will rubbed a thumb against Stan's lower lip.

"They can do without you, Will. I can't."

"If they feel they need me on this one, then it must be very bad. Because it looks like an 'all hands on deck' situation. I'm going, Jackson is going, and so is Ty." He closed the gap between their lips and pressed a soft kiss to his mate's pouting lips. "Don't pout," a husky murmur. "It's not always that the president asks to see us in Washington before a mission. Trust me, something bad is going down."

"Yeah, whatever." Stan's voice was resigned.

"What a shitty attitude." Will dropped another kiss. "And all because I'm only trying to save this country." He drew on Stan's lower lip and sucked on it for a while, loving the soft moans that tore out of the warrior. "The president must hear this." He murmured against Stan's wet and swollen lip when he eventually released him. "There's a traitor in our midst."

"Bite me." Stan gave a peal of breathless laughter.

"You need to keep an eye on Sylver whilst I'm gone though," Will grunted as he moved to sit up. "I wouldn't want him listening to what any psycho on the internet has to say about shooting."

"I still can't believe the naughty little thing actually came to the jungle room just to ask you that question." Stan laughed.

"You can imagine my shock." Will shook his head. "For a moment, I was totally confused. I wondered whether I'd been appointed his advisor without my knowledge."

Stan burst into laughter. "Well, he needed your advice."

"Tutorials on the fucking internet whilst waiting for his lessons on his eighteenth birthday?" The incredulous look on Will's face made Stan laugh even harder. "And who said anything about his eighteenth birthday anyway?"

"You did say you were going to teach him when he turns eighteen." Stan pointed out. "That will be on his eighteenth birthday technically so that's how he understood it. He's only two, Will." Stan wiped the tears of mirth from his eyes. "Your response to him though..." he dissolved into another bout of laughter.

"Well, pardon me but the last thing I had at that point was patience." Will laughed. "His shocked gasp when I threatened to whoop his arse if he tried that shit almost made me laugh. But it killed me when he asked me in a small voice what he did to make me angry at him."

"It was good you told him you were angry at me and not at him." Stan sat up. "I'm sure he'll be crushed when he hears you're leaving. "It's always more difficult for the one being left behind," He sighed, glaring at Will.

"That's not true." Will stood and pulled Stan out of the bed. "We have the rest of today. Let's make the most of it."

"I'd rather stay in bed with you," Stan groaned.

"As the beta of this pack, I don't think you have that luxury. Come on." He pulled Stan out of the bedroom and headed for the door. "Where are we going?"

"To your office. I want to watch you in your element...doing what you do best." Will shut the door after them and made a beeline for the elevator. "Then at lunchtime, I'll bring you back here and fuck your brains out." He hit the ground floor button.

"Why wait till lunchtime?" Stan murmured huskily against Will's mouth as the elevator closed. "We could have our own Black Friday right now." He licked at Will's mouth. "All clothes will be hundred percent off. Then we can fuck each other's brains out."

Will moaned. "Tempting. But when you've got work to do, you've gotta do it." He began to kiss along Stan's neck.

"If those lips touch that mark, I'm ripping your fucking clothes off," Stan growled warningly.

"Stan..." Will howled with laughter. "I love you, man." And his eyes conveyed what his mouth was saying. "Too much."

"And yet you want to leave me." The warrior mumbled, hearing the whining in his voice but unable to do anything about it.

"Come here." Will drew Stan into his arms and just held him.

And when the elevator opened in the foyer, neither attempted to end the embrace. Jeremy, Paige, and Philip who was on his phone were on their way out.

"Oh, there you are." Philip paused his conversation to smirk at Stan and Will. "What's with you two and elevators?"

"We're not fucking, Lip," Stan growled even as Will laughed.

"We're on our way to the elders' quarters. Join us." The alpha said and then resumed his conversation on his phone.

"Both of us?" Will ask as he stepped out of the elevator with Stan.

"Yes, Will." Jeremy nodded as he fell into step with Stan and began to discuss another pack. "So about that proposal the Castro Pack presented..."

Paige linked an arm through Will's and steered him towards the huge automatic glass doors. "Let's hope at least half of the problem can be solved." "Just half?" Will raised a brow.

"No one can solve the other half." Paige headed for her sleek jeep. "Ride with me."

"Gladly. Now, about that half..."

"Watching you leave is going to be hell for Stan. There's nothing anyone can do about that." "Shit."

"And you too for that matter.

"Oh, I'm used to not seeing my loved ones for months," Will shrugged. "I'm okay."

"We'll see about that." The lady werewolf murmured with a knowing smirk.
