Awakened Love With Triplets Alphas -
Chapter 52
YUNIFER'S POV
Before we talked to each other, I asked him to find a room where we can talk freely since it was inappropriate to talk especially with a lot of people plus it's public. Who knows who might be listening to our conversation? It seemed that Knight, the instructor, was able to get what I was trying to say and he led me to a room inside the villa.
Before we got in, Knight looked at me and smiled. "Don't worry, no one will be able to hear our conversation since this place is soundproof. Please rest assured."
Hearing that, I calmly nodded my eyes as I entered the room together with him.
He sat on the other chair, while I was also on the opposite chair, making us face each other but there was a huge gap between us.
"What do you want to talk about, Luna?" Knight calmly asked while looking at me.
I didn't need to say it vaguely and just straightforwardly asked him.
"I heard that you once saw a witch, is it true?" I asked while looking into his eyes to see if there were subtle changes.
Knight nodded his head without being surprised. He must be thinking that it was because I was the Luna of the Triplets so I must also know about what the pack was going on.
Besides, this instructor named Knight could already tell that I was there to talk about witches, especially since he knows that the Ferrer Alphas were investigating the witch's matter.
Although my mates were trying to find any single clue about the witches and wanted to announce to his pack that he was trying to find witches or get a clue about them they couldn't do so. It was because they already knew that witches could disguise themselves as a member of the pack to get the information that they want or act as a spy.
Witches are a troublesome matter that's why the Triplets decided to hide it and only choose the more reliable subordinates to tell about witches and have them help with the investigation
One of the reliable and trustworthy subordinates that were chosen by the Ferrer Alphas was Knight, the instructor.
Besides, the reason why I wanted to converse with him was all because of what he said back then. He admits that he saw a real witch in the past.
Knight looked at me calmly before he slowly nod his head as he started to talk. "That's right. I once saw a witch when I was a child."
"How can you be so sure that she was a witch?" I couldn't help but asked while at the same time, staring at his eyes so that I would easily notice if he was lying to me or not.
However, his emotions didn't fluctuate. He knows that I was analyzing him if he was really telling the truth but he just let me do it. As if he doesn't have anything to worry about because he was telling the truth.
As expected, he was a trustworthy and reliable person.
Knight calmly narrated his life events that contain the interaction with a witch.
"When I was a child, I could vividly recall that my parents had to save a woman who was drowning in the river. My parents took her back to our house since my parents don't have enough money to send the woman to the hospital so they just used herbs to treat her wounds then my mother did CPR on her since she was drowned in the river. A few days had had, and she was still in a coma so my parents didn't have the heart to let her be in that situation since they were also worried about her too. Despite that my parents were poor, they still had earned in those given days money enough to go to the hospital to treat the witch."
"However, before my parents could send the woman to the hospital, she woke up which shocked my parents but also they were glad." Then Knight took a deep breath and looked at me calmly, "My parents you see, they don't have the concept of raising their guards. They would help anyone who was in need as long as they can. They were kind and helpful despite that they were poor. However, they were still taken advantage of."
"When the woman woke up, I was also there to serve the water to quench her thirst and hunger since she had been in a coma for four days. However, I was taken aback and almost screamed when I saw a 5-6 inch wound on her body slowly healing. The bruises and swelling in her face were also healed on their own as if they had never been there before. I was shocked when I saw that and I couldn't even speak because I was afraid. I saw her that time as a monster because I had never seen those things before. I was a child back then and I couldn't help but cry upon such scene."
"The witch noticed my presence and stared at me. I thought I was going to die but in fact, she just look at me and didn't say anything. When my parents arrived, they were already ready to send her to the hospital so that she could continue to recover, however, they were shocked by what they have seen. The woman's whole body was filled with wounds and bruises had disappeared, not even leaving a scar."
"When they asked the woman, she just answered calmly that she's a witch so they should kill her or burn her now. She was calm when talking about her death and even told the methods of how to kill a witch. However, how could my parents do such a thing? They told the woman that some things are worth living for."
I was listening to him narrating calmly and it wasn't until he choked up at the end, making me look at him.
A sad expression flashed in his eyes as he let out a soft sigh and continued talking.
"The witch faced my parents calmly without any expression and she now her head to express her gratitude. She even thanked my parents for rescuing her but the witch said that they should kill her now or else it would be too late. The witch explained to us that if they won't kill her, they would regret it. My parents were the ones who said that they won't regret it but the witch kept on insisting that they will. The witch said that she was controlled by a curse and would go on berserk then kill whoever she should see." "She kept on telling my mother to burn her and it wasn't until she beg them to let her die because she doesn't want to live in a cage and was being treated like a marionette who couldn't control herself. She said that she doesn't want to kill people."
Knight let out a mournful chuckle as he looked at me and added. "But how could my parents kill her? They were kindhearted and couldn't even kill a cow how much more than a human? Just when my parents decided to comfort her and said that everything will be okay when suddenly, the witch had already gone into her berserk mode. Her eyes were dark like an abyss, her facile was pale but her lips were black. Her nails slowly turned sharp and black as they immediately pierced the heart of my mother without hesitation. It also didn't give us room to run away or dodge."
"I screamed, I beg for help, and even tried to save my parents but I could only helplessly watch them being killed in front of me." His voice was filled with anger and pain as he choked in the end. Even so, he continued. "Before my father died, he instructed me to hide in the cabinet and won't be found. He told me not to come out unless everything will be alright. Although I was unwilling I still choose to follow my father's instructions. I never disobeyed him."
"But whenever I remember that event, I suddenly wished that I was in my rebellious phase. I wish that I was never been an obedient child. Maybe in that way, I can save my father and they won't die together with my mother..." He softly said as his eyes reddened. My heart clenched just by listening to his experience with witches. I never thought it would be this deep.
Just when I was about to open my mouth and apologize to him for reopening his wound when Knight looked at me and shook his head as if he could guess what I was trying to do.
"No trouble. Besides, it would also benefit me a lot especially since you're trying to find the traces of the witches. If I remember right, the witch who killed my parents said that she live like a marionette. In other words, there should be a mastermind behind her who was trying to control her." Knight calmly stated as he took the tea in front of him and drank it.
I nodded my head and calmly analyze his information. "That's right. That witch probably wanted to be free and to get rid of her shackles but sadly, the mastermind could guess what she was thinking and didn't let her escape. Instead, she put a curse on her that could make her berserk."
Hearing this, the Knight also nodded his head. He couldn't agree more about the guesses and hypotheses that I made.
"Although I know that witch was being controlled by the real mastermind, I won't forgive her for what she has done." Knight calmly said while his eyes were filled with anger and hatred.
I nodded my head. "It doesn't change the fact that she killed your parents too. Plus, that mastermind who was behind the reasons why the witches could berserk was because of the curse, they should also deserve to be banished from this world." Knight nodded his head solemnly. "That was all I could provide information about witches."
"Thank you. The information you provided could help us a lot. I will make sure to catch those witches who were responsible for killing innocent lives, especially the mastermind of the witches." I calmly said with seriousness in my eyes as I stood up, preparing to leave before I nod my head at him.
