YUNIFER'S POV

As soon as I let out those words, I saw her eyes tremble as she let out a laugh as if she doesn't believe what I am saying, but her body movements were honest. Her hand trembled and so as her eyes that were shaking from nervousness and fear but at the same time, it seemed that she was trying to assure herself in her mind that I was just lying to her just for the sake that she would stop her witches from killing mercilessly the lives of others.

"You are trying to manipulate me, Yunifer. I am not that foolish to believe you." Natalie said as she let out a laugh in madness while looking at me as if she was looking at a foolish person.

However, my expression remained the same. I coldly looked at her and my expression never wavered just because she doubted me.

I slowly walked in her direction without any expression on my face and snickered.

"As soon as the tulips bloom in our garden, I will never leave you." I softly said those words, and I saw Natalie's eyes tremble as the corner of her eyes reddened.

"H-How did you know that?!" This time Natalie snapped as I didn't have time to dodge her when I suddenly felt breathlessness and lack of oxygen when I felt her hand increase its strength that wrapped around my neck.

Damn it.

"How did you know that?! Goddamnit! Answer me, Yunifer?! Who told you that?!" Natalie shouted at me with anger as her eyes darkened even more and I couldn't see any light in her eyes and blue veins that stretched on her forehead and her neck.

She looked at me with madness and as if she could kill me any minute by now if I won't tell her the truth about where I heard that line from.

However, is she stupid? How the hell could I speak if she throttled me? I can't even properly breathe, how much more speak and answer her?

I used the strength in my hand as an instinct of a beast who was on the verge of death and punched her in the side of her face, making her loosen the hold of my neck.

As soon as her hand was retracted on my neck, I gasped for air and was huffing and puffing after I almost died from lack of oxygen.

I glared at her and kicked her stomach with annoyance. "Are you stupid or what? How the hell could I speak if you choked me almost to death?!"

Natalie was silent for a while before she raised her darkened eyes and coldly asked, "Tell me before I will kill you, where the hell did you learn those words?"

I rolled my eyes and stood up from the ground. "The more that you want to kill me, the more that I wanted to keep it a secret."

It seemed that Natalie got angered by my words, she was about to attack me again but I immediately dodged her attack and threw another kick at her who doesn't even have the slightest intention to hurt me and was only scaring me with her so-called attack but I know that she doesn't plan on hurting me because I hold the valuable information that she had always wanted to know for all of these decades that she had been waiting.

A grin appeared on my lips as I looked at her who wavered. She won't easily kill me.

"Before I wanted to talk further about whom and where I heard about those words, I want you to obey my condition." I coldly said while I looked at Natalie who seemed to be confused and her eyes were lifelessly staring at the wall. When she heard my words, she turned her head at me and let out a snort while looking at me with anger.

"You mean to say that you wanted me to stop my subordinates from killing those people? You wanted me to stop my revenge just for the so-called information that you have?" She retorted while looking at me with a darkened face.

I coldly looked at her and replied. "It was your own choice whether you wanted to stop your subordinates from killing those living beings I'm exchanging for the information that I have. I just to tell you that the information that I have is valuable and with credibility. I can even provide you some evidence if that's what you wanted."

After I said that, I turned around and watched the projector with a cold and darkened face, listening to the screams, painful howls, and shouts of the living being that was projected on the screen.

My eyes squinted as my whole body trembled when I saw something shocking enough to shake my core.

Teardrops fell onto my cheeks I could even feel my palm wet after I clenched it tightly, producing a red liquid.

Ishid.

I turned my head at Natalie who was also watching the screen and she let out a loud laugh. "Finally, one of the sons of that f*****g previous Alpha King had finally fallen! What a great sight, indeed. I should reward my subordinates for killing him!" I glared at her and out of impulsiveness and also due to the emotions that I felt, I jumped in her direction while pointing the sharp weapon at her, and this time, with the intent to kill.

Drops of tears kept on falling into my eyes as I tried to send a powerful kick to her, but she just dodged and no matter how many times I tried to fight with her, Natalie never fought back which adds flames and anger to my heart.

"Let me out of this mansion or else I would destroy everything to get out of this mansion of yours." I coldly said with a reddened eye that was filled with anger as I glared at her.

My whole body exuded killing intent, and if she won't let me go right now, I would kill her.

It doesn't matter if she was Celine's most cared for and loved woman, I would kill her for trying to hurt my beloved Ishid.

Natalie let out a chuckle upon noticing my emotions. "Why? Are you afraid that your mate would die? However, it doesn't matter since you still have two, isn't it?"

"I'll kill you if you dare to stall the time." I coldly said while glaring at her with anger.

Natalie smirked, "That mate of yours won't die so you have to relax. He will just fall into a state of unconsciousness since he was losing his blood but it doesn't matter and you don't have to worry too much because he won't die."

"I want to go out. Let me out right now, Natalie." I coldly commanded while raising my brows at her, looking at her with cold eyes.

Natalie laughed at my expression and shook her head. "It's a pity that I can't let you out especially if you hold such valuable information. What if you will run away together with those mates of yours? Plus, they are also my enemies since they have the blood of that previous Alpha King who killed my beloved so I can't easily let them live. It's not easy for me to let go of my revenge, you know and there would be no one else that could ever change my mind."

Hearing the word she said, my whole body trembled in anger as I could feel the anger that was strongly trying to gush out from my veins. I could even feel my fur slowly emerging in my skin and my claws became pointy and sharp.

When I took a glance at the screen, I saw Ishid who was pale and looked lifeless when one of the shadow guards had taken him to the pack doctor after he was stabbed two times in her stomach. It was also the same as mine but what Ishid had suffered was far worse than what I have suffered.

However, despite that, he was still breathing heavily as if he hadn't given up on his life yet.

"See? I told you that he would still live." Natalie said with a perfunctory, making me clench my jaw.

"I told you to let me go out of here. I want to be with him right now." I coldly demanded but she still acted like she didn't hear my voice.

Instead, she tacitly changed the subject. "So, where did you hear those lines? Who said it to you?"

"You think that I would tell you? Dream on!" After I said that, I turned into a wolf and used the strength of my paws to punch the walls heavily, leading it to be destroyed, making a large hole enough for me to go out.

I turned my head at Natalie and coldly said, "Since you don't want to let me go out, then I will make a way for me to get out of here since I already had enough. You don't want to cooperate with me, so I don't want to cooperate with you."

After that, I turned my head and walked out of the mansion, leaving without nostalgia.

"You can't get out of this mansion," Natalie said in a calm tone as if she was just relaxing and calm at the fact that she got the hold of my wants.

However, Natalie underestimated me. She forgot that I am also a witch. Despite the that she was the boss of this land, the witch leader, it's not like she had controlled me the way that she had controlled her subordinates.

After a while of destroying Natalie's property, I managed to find the large tree which serves as the main entrance and exit of the witch's territory.

I let out a sigh of relief as I couldn't help but laugh while wiping the tears from my eyes I immediately put my hand on the tree without hesitation.

I felt the same feeling again. Like my body was being sucked inside of the tree.

Suddenly, I felt my body being light weighted and I felt strong arms wrapped tightly around my waist as my face slammed on its chest, inhaling such a pop of familiar scent, making me relax my guard down.

I looked up at him and my eyes brightened in delight as I finally was able to breathe properly as if the heavy burden in my heart was finally lifted after seeing him.

Then when I remembered Ishid. I looked at him with panic and worry. "Ishid is in trouble! We have to help him!"
