Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four
Betrayed By Everyone Loved by Four Bonus Chapter 3

"Okay, so you need catching up in bio, english, and your basic math class. I can help with all of those." I said.

Tristan and I have been going over what he struggles with the most. It's clear that he wasn't the strongest student to begin with. Which is totally fine. I did this kind of stuff in high school all the time. With Leo. Leo..

Man, I really miss them. I should have said no to all of this, and just went home. Even if I couldn't see Oli or Leo, at least I could have seen Atlas. Although, it doesn't seem that any of them really notice that we don't spend much time together anymore.

I know that Oli called me. Leo texted letting us know he's busy too. Milo and Atlas should be home by now though. I never told anyone where I was going, and no one has called or texted me since class ended.

Do they not notice my absence? That can't be right, right? Maybe I'm just over thinking all of this. Lila might have told them where I'm at, or they might have just assumed I was doing something important. Which I am.. I guess.

Tutoring Tristan is going to open a really big door for me. Being Professor Homak's youngest TA would be.. Amazing. And look good on applications in the future.

"Okay, so where should we start?" Tristan asked knocking me from my thoughts.

"Do you have any assignments or tests coming up in your other classes?" I asked.

"Nope. Just the bio test on Monday." He answered.

"Okay, let's start with bio then. We can study for the test. You can keep my notes until you are done copying them." I told him.

"You don't need them to study over the weekend?" He asked.

I shook my head.

"Nah, I'm pretty confident that I'll ace it." I told him.

"Wow, smart and pretty. What a package." Tristan said.

I looked up to give Tristan a bored look.

"I told you to cut it out. I'm happily taken." I reminded him.

Tristan threw his hands up in surrender as he holds a wide smile on his face.

"Hey now, I was just saying. Your boyfriend must be a lucky guy." He said.

I rolled my eyes as I rummaged through my bag.

"Boyfriends." I corrected.

"Huh?" Tristan asked.

Lila snorted beside me. I turned my head to frown at her. She has been silent this entire time, up until now. Not sure what's so funny to her. One of those boyfriends is her twin.

"Here are some blank flash cards. I know that it helps me to have them, but it also helps to make them. It helps the information settle in." I told Tristan.

Yes, I am ignoring his questioning gaze. I'm not ashamed to have four boyfriends. Not anymore. That doesn't mean that Tristan needs to know my business.

Part of me is still kind of freaked out to tell a lot of people. Espeically in college. I'm just scared that I will find another James here. Another guy that tries to force himself on me because I give it up to four other guys at once.

Lila and I have been taking that self defense class we talked about last year. I'm confident that I can protect myself in most situations, but still. My past trauma from James is something I still deal with. That's why I carry around pepper spray, and one of those shank looking things on my keys.

"Wait, all of your notes?" Tristan asked incredulously.

"Mhmm." I hummed with a nod.

"But.. you have like five pages of notes." Tristan whined.

I rolled my eyes as I looked up at him.

"Yeah, I know. It's all important." I said.

I turned my attention back to my paper. All I have to do is finishing writing it, then I have to type it, then submit it. All by midnight Sunday. I got this.

After a few minutes the three of us fell into a comfortable silence. Tristan actually worked on the flash cards. I'm a bit surprised. Based off of what I've seen so far, he strikes me as more of a playful type. One that doesn't take school seriously. It's nice to know that he does.

My paper is also coming along. Although, I keep checking my phone. Still no messages from anyone. It's now well past 6 p.m. Milo should be home. I wonder if he even notices that I'm not there.

All of the sudden a phone started to ring. I nearly jumped out of my skin, and scrambled for my phone. Maybe Milo did notice that I'm not home.

I pulled my phone out, but it's blank. I frowned at the screen. Then I heard Lila's voice.

"Hey baby." She whispered. "I'm in the library."

Pause.

"Wait, really?" Lila asked excitedly.

Many people around us shushed her, but Lila doesn't care at all.

"Okay, I'll be right there." Lila said before ending her call.

Tristan and I both looked at Lila as she scrambled to shove all of her belongings in her bag.

"Caleb is in my dorm room waiting for me. He wanted to surprise me." Lila told us.

I smiled brightly at her.

"Oh how exciting!" I said. "Do you want me to walk you to your room?" I asked.

"Nope. I do not want you there when you see me tackle your brother, and start ripping his clothes off." Lila replied.

I scrunched up my face in digust.

"Gee thanks for that." I grumbled.

"Tomorrow we will come over for dinner so you can see him." She offered.

"Sounds good. Have fun." I said as Lila hurried out of the library.

I giggled as I watched her go. I'm so happy that Lila and Caleb have been making things work. Caleb got his license a couple months ago. He even got a part time job to be able to come see Lila on the weekends. It doesn't happen every weekend, but I am glad they make time for each other.

"Well, now that she's gone..." Tristan trailed off.

Tristan stood up, and walked around the table. He took over Lila's seat, and scooted closer to me. I'm having deja vu, but not in a good way.

I remember when me and the guys would sit in the library in high school. All of the things we did to each other there. I miss them so much. How long has it even been since we've all had sex together?

"Did you have to scoot closer?" I asked slightly annoyed.

"Yes, only because I want you to test me on these now." Tristan said as he handed me the cards.

I gave him a skeptical look. He seems to be serious. Maybe I misjudged Tristan. Perhaps he does care that I am already taken.

"Okay, but just one round. I do have a paper to write." I said.

Tristan and I went a whole round of the flash cards. There are probably 100 of them. Tristan only got about half right, if that.

"Okay, one more time." He said.

"I have a paper to write." I argued.

"Please, just once more." Tristan begged.

"Okay fine."

"Quick question though." Tristan said.

"Hmm?" I hummed out as I shuffled the cards.

"What's your favorite color?" He asked.

I paused as I looked up at Tristan. He has his elbow on the table, with his chin resting on his hand. I raised a brow at him. "Yellow." I answered.

"Makes sense." Tristan said.

I furrowed my brow.

"How?" I asked.

Tristan shrugged.

"It's a bright color, and you have a bright aura about you." He stated simply.

I blushed.

Tristan can see my light too?

"Uhm, okay." I mumbled.

"So, what's your favorite food?" Tristan asked.

"I love all food." I replied.

"A girl with an appetite. I like it." He said.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Ya know, there's this place downtown that serves the best Mexican food." Tristan said.

"Cool." I replied.

Tristan chuckled. The sound is so deep. Almost as deep as Leo's.

When was the last time I heard Leo's chuckle?

"You really love that boyfriend of yours don't ya?" He asked.

"Of course I do." I said.

"Hmm. Too bad."

I looked up into Tristan's deep brown eyes. His smile captured me. Tristan really is a handsome guy. If I wasn't already taken, I'd probably be into his attention.

If.

"For you maybe." I replied.

"Well, if you guys ever break up, hopefully I'll be the first to know." He said.

Tristan lifted a hand up to my face. I didn't flinch, or move at all. I held my breath to see what he'd do next. Then Tristan tucked some of my hair behind my ear. "You really are a beautiful girl." He said.

I blushed despite myself.

"She is, isn't she? Too fucking bad she's taken."

Uht oh.
