"Are you guys ready for Thanksgiving break?" Lila asked the group.

We all just sat down in our normal booth. Our SA group just ended. So, the normal five of us that hang out after came to our normal hang out.

It's a cafe type place. There is a lounge area, some tables and booths, and a stage. This place holds comdey nights, poetry nights, pretty much any night you can think. It's a nice hang out close to the college. Erika blew out a breath making her black bangs fly up.

"I'm ready to have a break from school that's for sure." She said.

"Pft, at least you get a break. I have three papers to write over the break." April complained.

I chuckled at them.

"What about you Mil?" Lila asked.

"Oh, I am completely ready. I cannot wait to see my mom.

I'm really happy that we are all doing Thanksgiving together too." I said.

A couple weeks ago Leo told me that he asked our parents if we could all do Thanksgiving dinner together. He said that it will be held at his house. Apparently Atlas is going to be in charge of cooking everything

I was really happy to hear that we would all be together. I know that Leo did that for me too. I really didn't want to have to spend the holiday away from my others. Again.

"Me 100. I get my best friend, and my boyfriend all on my favorite holiday." Lila said as she slung her arm around my shoulders.

I laughed at her.

"You say that like you don't live with your boyfriend." Erika grumbled.

Poor Erika is jealous. She wants a relationship of her own.

Something real. Which is hard to find in college as a SA survivor. Still, I have faith. Erika will find her other half one day.

"Hey, we spend like, the entire day apart, Do you even know how crazy college football is? They work Caleb way too much." Lila complained.

"Oh please. Your man is built like a damn brick. Don't act like you don't like it." April said.

I snorted at that. April has no idea. Caleb already had some muscle due to all the sports he played in high school. He's only been doing college football for a few months, and boy oh boy did he grow. Caleb is almost bigger than Atlas now. Lila sighed dreamily.

"He does have an ah-mazing body." She said

"Gross." I said

"Hey, don't yuck her yum." April scolded me.

I have her a digusted look.

"I will yuck her yum all I want when her yum is my little brother." I said. "Oh god, that sounded so wrong coming out of my mouth." I groaned.

"Did you have to call him your little brother?" Lila complained.

"I mean, he is.'

"I said lamely.

"Oh, he might be your younger brother, but I've seen that guy. Ain't nothing little about him." April said.

Lila and Erika laughed at that. I groaned as I zoned them out. I do not need to hear them gush over my little brother.

Although, I'm really happy that Caleb is here. I know that he and Lila had a lot of ups and downs. Actually, they broke up for a while. A whole year. Lila was the saddest I had ever seen her. Caleb wasn't doing well either.

They actually got back together over the summer, but if I'm going to be honest... I don't think they ever really broke up. I think they told themselves that, and everyone else. But I saw Caleb's car parked in the visitors lot quite a bit. There were also weekends that Lila would just. disappear. Those two weren't fooling anyone.

I'm not sure what happened over the summer that got them back to a good place, but I'm happy it happened. I haven't seen Lila this happy in a long time. Caleb is adjusting well to college life too. I'm so happy that they finally found a happy flow in their relationship.

"Cece." I called her name.

Cece's blue eyes snapped to me at the sound of her name.

She's sitting across from me, next to April. The girl has been pretty silent all night. Cece is normally a quiet girl, but not with us. Something is defintiely off, and I hope it has everything to do with JJ.

After I found out that JJ liked her.. Well, I talked to her a lot about it. Cece wasn't convinced to give him a shot still though. Knowing JJ though, I'm sure he never stopped trying. Dude has it bad. "You okay?" I asked Cece.

Cece looked at all of us before settling her eyes on me.

Tears filled her eyes making mine go wide. Oh no, that can't be good.

"What's wrong Ce?" April asked concerned.

"I." Cece trailed off as tears started to fall down her face.

Cece threw her face in her hands as she started sobbing.

The rest of us shared a confused look before we all started reaching out for Cece. April wrapped her arm around our friend, and pulled her into a hug.

"Did that guy that's always firting with you do something?"

Erika asked

"Oh no, what did JJ do now?" I asked

I'm going to kill that fucker.

Cece shook her head as she pulled herself from April's hold. She wiped her eyes, and sniffled. Cece looked down at the table as she spoke.

"!...." I stuttered.

"Is this JJ's fault Cece?" I asked her.

Cece's eyes met mine as she nodded.

"What did he do? I'll kill him right now. We can go straight to his frat house this moment if you want." I offered.

"Let's TP their house!" Erika said.

"And pour honey all over their porch!" Lila added.

I snapped my head to give her a wide eyed look. Lila only shrugged at me. Just what the hell is wrong with my best friend?

"He.. he." Cece struggled to get out. "I think he got my pregnant!" She finally shouted.

All of us stared at her with our jaws on the floor.

"He just. He's literally the sweetest guy I've ever met. No matter what I did he kept flirting with me. I liked it so much.

No one had ever given me attention like that before, but.. I just thought I wasn't ready. That I couldn't do it. Then he found me in the library one day, and we got to talking, and I actually like him so much more than I thought I would. So I started finding excuses to see him more. And then we got all caught up in the rain a couple weeks ago, and one thing lead to another, and it just. happened! It just happened! Oh my god. I've ruined my life. I-1-"

Cece rushed everything out, barely taking a breath. Now she's starting to hyperventilate as she tries to push more words out. I had no idea that things had progressed between the two of them that much.

JJ was really out here not leaving this girl alone. I knew that Cece would like him if she just gave him a chance. I also knew that Cece wasn't likely to give JJ a chance just because of what happened to her.

Cece was one of the SA vicitms that blamed herself. It happened when she was only 14. At a party. Like so many other stories I've heard before. Only.. Cece was gang raped by five different boys on the schools basketball team. It took her a really long time to work through it.

Honestly, I don't think Cece really started to work through it until she met us almost two years ago. She was so pale, and hollow when I first saw her. Thankfully, we were able to get her some therapy.

After a few months I could see her start to get better. They were small changes at first, but they were still something.

As more months passed, I could tell that Cece was finally finding herself again. She would laugh, make jokes, hang out with us Cece still doesn't like going anywhere alone, but neither do I. I wonder if that will ever change for us.

Cece has made so much progress just since I've met her. I didn't know if she was ready to date anyone just yet, but I did hope if she was, she would chose JJ. Despite JJ's constant goofing off, and him always acting like a complete idiot.. He is very nice.

I never considered JJ a sweet guy until I found out about his crush on Cece. The way he looks at her alone is.. Well, it's honestly adorable. I think he might be in love with her.

I knew that he would be a good guy for her. You might not see it just by looking, but.. JJ is patient, kind, caring. He would have taken things slow with Cece. Really cherished her the way she deserves.

At first none of us could respond. We all stared at Cece with our jaws on the floor. She's still hypervenatlating too.

Finally, April snapped out of it. She wrapped her arms around Cece again. This time Cece leaned right into our friend.

"There, there Cece. It's alright." April said.

Cece just sobbed onto April's shoulder.

"Have you taken a pregnancy test yet?" Lila asked.

Cece pulled herself off of April to address us all.

"N-no. I've been way too scared, but. My period is a week late." She sobbed.

"Would it make you feel better if we all took a test with you?" Erika asked.

The rest of us whipped our heads to Erika.

"What?" She asked.

"Really?" I asked her. "All of us?"

Erika shrugged.

"I just thought that it would make her feel better." She said.

We turned back to Cece.

"Would that make you feel better Cece?" April asked.

"Honestly. yeah." She said.

All of us shared a look before I reluctantly sighed.

"Looks like we're all taking a test."
