Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four -
Betrayed By Everyone Loved by Four Bonus Chapter 30
~ About Two Months Later
"I don't want to do this." I stated.
"Baby, we have to." Milo said.
I shook my head.
"Nope. I sure don't." I said.
I turned on my heel, ready to book it out of there. Only to smack right into Leo. Leo grabbed my arms, turned me around, and whispered in my ear.
"You already got out of it at Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
No more waiting princess." He said.
"They're going to figure it out sooner or later babygirl." Atlas added.
"Espeically with how big you're already getting." Oli added.
gave him a bored look.
"Really." I said flatly.
Oli isn't lying though. When we had went to the doctor we found out that I was bit further along than we thought. I'm now through my first trimester. A whole four months along. My belly is already getting bigger.
"Maybe we can wait until tomorrow." I tried
Leo shook his head, and started to push me towards the door.
"We're telling them now." He said
Before I could argue further, Milo opened the door to the family beach house, and walked in.
"We're here!" He called out.
We came back home to celebrate the new year. Lila and Caleb obviously know about my pregnancy, but.. None of our parents do.
I've been doing everything I can to put it off. I just know that most of them are going to freak out. I'm terrified of how my dad is going to act.
We walked to the dinning area to find everyone sitting around the table. Mom and Ally are in the kitchen. Atlas was quick to join them.
All of our parents got up to hug us. Lila and Caleb were already here. After we all said our hello's, everyone took their seats. Everyone except for me.
"Let me take your coat angel." Oli told me as he started to slide it off of my shoulders.
I gulped.
"You're doing this on purpose." I whisper yelled
Oli chuckled
"Relax will ya. All of this worrying isn't good for the baby." He whispered back.
My entire face heated up as I looked around to make sure no one heard him. I let Oli take my coat before I approached the table awkwardly. Caleb raised an amused brow at me. "Dang Mil, that freshmen 15 hit ya kinda late didn't it."
Caleb teased.
I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Why don't you just shut the hell up." I growled out.
Then my face heated more. s**t. I didn't need to snap like that at him. My mood swings are insane.
I know that the guys and I all consider this baby all of ours.
We decided not to do a DNA test because of that. But I swear this child is Leo's. That has to be why I'm such a grumpy b***h all the time.
"Millie, he was just teasing." Mom defended Caleb.
"Just teasing my ass." I muttered.
"Your hips are getting wider too." Caleb commented.
I rolled my eyes as I sat down across from him.
"Are you trying to piss me off? I will stab you." I said.
Caleb only chuckled at me
"Okay, enough of that." Sarah said as she sat down a glass of champagne in front of me.
Oh no.
"A toast! To another year of family and friendship." She said.
Sarah held her glass up for everyone to clink theirs together. I reached up with the others awkwardly. I can feel several eyes on me as I pull my glass back. Obviously I didn't take a drink. I just hoped that it would go unnoticed. Maybe I can get away with not telling them again.
"Millie, you're supposed to drink after doing a cheers." Caleb chimed.
I narrowed my eyes at him.
'I hate you.' I mouthed to him
Caleb only shrugged in return.
"You not drinking Millie?" Atlas's mom Jen asked.
"Uh." I mumbled.
"You feeling okay honey?" Mom asked me.
"Well-"
"She looks healthy to me, glowing in fact." Milo's mom Darla said
My face heated again.
"Oh, she's glowing alright." Atlas said with a sly smile.
Oh no.
"Millie." Dad said.
I refused to look at him.
"Why aren't you drinking?" He asked sternly.
The air in the room shifted. Tension settled. I gulped.
"H c-can't." I said softly, and then cleared my throat.
"Uht oh." Darla muttered.
"Why not Amelia?" Dad asked angrily.
I looked up to see my dad staring at me with anger in his eyes.
"I." I trailed off.
s**t, I don't think I can do this.
Milo cleared his throat getting everyone's attention, but my
"We have an announcement to make." Milo said.
"Do you now?" His mom replied.
"Yes." He said
"This is your part angel." Oli whispered to me.
I looked at all of their faces, before clearing my throat again.
"I'm pregnant." I stated
Silence.
You could hear a pin drop.
"I knew it!" Daral practically shouted
dads.
I just kept staring at Dad, who's face is growing redder by the second.
"Uhm." Ally said, and then cleared her throat. "Uh, who's.. is it? Do you.. How do you." She asked awkwardly.
Oli put his hand on top of his mothers.
"It's ours. All of ours. We won't be doing a DNA test, we will be raising it as if it's completely ours." He told her. "Beause it is." Leo added.
More silence.
"Uhm. congratulations." Atlas's dad Henry said uncomfortably.
"Congratulations?!" Dad finally said, shouting.
Here we go.
"How could you even say that!? They're too young for children. They haven't finished school yet!" Dad shouted, and then turned to me.
Oh no.
"You have a whole nother year of college left Millie! Not to mention finding a job right after is going to be hard enough. What are all of you going to do? How could you be so stupid?!" He shouted.
Tears instantly sprouted in my eyes. My bottom lip trembled as my tears began to fall. I pushed my seat out, stood up, and then ran down the hall to the bathroom before anyone could stop me.
I locked the door before sitting on the toilet to sob my heart out.
It was only a second later that I heard a knock at the door. I ignored it. It's probably Leo, he can just give me a damn minute. This is all his fault anyways. Stupid asshat knocked me up, and now I'm an emotional wreck.
I blame all of them any time that I get emotional like this.
Like last week when April brought over her new puppy. I sobbed for two straight hours over how cute he was. It's been absolutely ridiculous.
"Amelia, open the door. Your mother and I need to talk with you." Came Dad's voice.
I wiped my eyes, and walked to the door. I sniffled beforeopening it. I can't even look my parents in the eyes.
"Come on." Mom said.
M om grabbed my hand, and took me to a bedroom next door. She sat me down on the bed. Dad sat on one side of me, and Mom the other.
"I'm sorry that I called you stupid Amelia, but.. I'm just angry. What are all of you going to do?" Dad asked.
At least he sounds much softer now.
I blew out a shakey breath.
"We already talked about that Dad. Atlas isn't in school. He is going to watch the baby during the day while we are at school. He will work evenings and nights. Oli and I will be home after that. Milo is going to stop volunteering at the hospital after the baby is born. By then Leo won't be in his program anymore, but will be working on cases solo. Which means he can bring his work home." I said.
"What about your TA position?" Mom asked.
"I'm still doing it. I've already talked with Professor Homak.
She is going to work with me on things. And I moved my tutoring group to our apartment. There will be enough of us, and enough space for us to still help each other out." I told them.
"You all.. seemed to have it figured out." Dad muttered grumpily.
I shook my head as I rested my hand on my small bump over my baggy shirt.
"No. We have a plan. One that we hope will work out. Im due at the beginning of June. So, we will at least not have to worry about taking some time off from school. But.. I'm still scared. I know this is going to be hard." I told them.
I blew out another breath as I started to rub my belly
"Thankfully, I have four boyfriends. That means that I have tons of help. Not to mention Caleb and Lila are so close.
That makes me feel less panicked." I admitted.
Mom rested her hand over mine. I looked up at her to see her eyes go wide. Then she snaked her hand under my shirt to rest on my bare belly.
"You're due in June?" She asked.
I nodded.
"You waited four months to tell us?" Mom asked sounding a bit angry.
I gave her a sheepish look.
"Sorry, I was.. too scared to tell you." I mumbled.
Mom gave me a nod in understanding.
"Are you sure that you aren't further than that though?"
Mom asked. "You just seem kind of big is all."
I shrugged.
"That's what my doctor said." I told her.
"When is your next appointment? Can I go with you?" Mom rushed out.
I gave her a small laugh.
"Yeah, I'd really like that. It's next week. Doc has been gone over the holidays so I'm due for an ultrasound, and a few tests." I told her. Mom smiled at me.
"I'm going to be a grandma." She said excitedly as tears misted her eyes.
Great, now I'm going to cry too.
Dad rested his hand over Moms under my shirt. I turned to see a small smile on his lips. He's warming up to this.
"And I'm going to be a grandpa."
Okay, now I'm definitely crying again.
