Billionaire's Regret
Chapter 27:

"Gregor, where are we going?"

Grace look at the ocean that looks cold and dangerous no matter where she looks. She has noticed the man was silent yet clearly focused just looking ahead. "What are you looking at?" The boat speed forward towards nothing as she can only see the mist swirling heavily around them...

"There is something in the water Boss," calls one of his men.

Gregor wasn't listening as he really just keeps looking forward. Grace stood up and slowly makes her way towards him. Once she stood beside him she notices he has earplugs. Reaching out with the intent of alerting him about their surroundings, he quickly grabbed her hand before she could touch him.

"What's going on Gregor?"

"Don't touch me." He said loud enough for her to look around. She noticed most of the men onboard the boat was looking into the sea. Only the man beside her and his body guard looks ahead. "What on earth is going on?"

Grace start to really look around and it took a moment until she understood they were completely engulfed in mist. There is nothing to see. The sudden ugly song pierced her ears. It was followed by the men simply jumping into the cold

water.

"Annie ..." Aaron watched the continuous changing of her eye colors.

"My love," she slipped into his arms making his body starting to follow hers. It took time before he understood he should dance with her. He heard the most melodious music filling the space around him.

"I missed you darling," he whispers against her lips as his mouth now playing with her earlobe before kissing her just underneath before lifting his head to listens to the music. He reaches out to dance the most erotic tango with Annie. It was like the night only belongs to them. As time passed he just can't seem to stop looking at Annie. Tonight there was something magical about her. Their bodies move sensuously as one.

Grace watched the curtain of mist opening revealing the looming castle-like place. It instantly looks like a fairytale to her. She was now aware of the large yet slim fishlike things moving beside the boat. The boat docks. She watched Gregor jumping from the boat leaving behind only man who didn't jumped into the ocean.

"Welcome to Cowan's Cove," Claude stood like a mountain of rocks blocking the entrance.

"What place is this?" asked Grace. She still noticed that Gregor didn't remove the earplugs. "This is the place for death or tomorrow."

"What do you mean?" Grace hears that ugly fish sounds continuously.

"Regret replace by love," Gregor said loudly. He keeps looking ahead.

"Why the fuck are you acting so strange?" Grace was losing her patience.

"The tongue that wrecks havoc is the tongue that destroys love," Gregor says again.

"Entrance is allowed, but beware of the mirrors of illusions. What is phantom is real and what is lie is truth. Know the difference." Claude stood aside.

"My Annie, once my loneliness echoes my sadness "he kisses her again on the lips before swinging her gently away from him before pulling her into his arms.

"Once my love and laughter was vanquished and I become invisible indeed."

"What did you do? Reveal the truth to me."

"I walk away from what that didn't work. You didn't love me. You reject my friendship." She gently and briefly placed her head against his chest listening to his heartbeat.

"The drums were beating in my mind. It was telling of lies that were alluring. I took flight but I should have fight." His lips briefly brush over hers.

"I am Annie Black Casey, tell me you intention."

"I regret ..." a single tear slipped down his face. She reached out to catch it on the tip of her finger. "Annie ...you are seductive; captivating me in such a manner that I realized you are mine to cherish. My mind; my heart; is spiraling in regret. I found myself falling into a whirlpool of emotions. I can feel the hot treacherous desire. You are my dream once lost now again discovered."

Annie looked up into his eyes the truth of her heart keeps changing in reality. She desires him with flames licking around her; she loves him with tears streaming down her face. Her heart feels it was breaking into a million pieces. Sudden betrayal sits on her shoulders like a heavy smothering blanket.

Gregor quickly lift his arm to stop the hastily Grace who immediately wanted to intrude into the intimate dance.

Get out of my way," she yells.

"You are fuelled by the siren's song," he said flat. He kept his focused eyes on Annie. He was waiting until she was aware of his presence.

"Annie..." Gregor calls softly.

Aaron watched her closed her eyes. It only took that before he now hears the siren calling his name. He starts too disengaged from Annie needing to head the call.

"No," Annie opened her desirous eyes looking deeply into his. "I have strength for the both of us."She said softly.

"Annie..." Gregor calls.

"I have been hurt, learning painful lessons." Her hand touches the side of his face. "Annie..."

"I discovered that our lives are on a constant journey that never ends. You, Aaron Casey just listens to my voice. Keep tight control on the knowledge that through each stage life is a process of recovery." Her finger softly brushes over his lower lip.

"Annie Black, you rightfully belong to me," Gregor said forcefully. I looked beyond your door. I know your truth. That man can't give you what I can."

"Aaron, I am woman, I am your warrior. See me. I am patient." She stood on tip toe kissing him.

"Annie if you don't step away from that man right now, I am going to kill him." Gregor says harshly. "I have been waiting for you. Step away from that man Annie."

Annie reach out using one hand on each side of Aaron's neck compressing the carotid arteries effectively cutting of the blood to the brain. She watched him pass out.

"Come to me Annie," Gregor was pointing his gun towards Aaron. She simply step forward blocking his sight.

"I am Annie Black Casey. You don't know me."

"I want you Annie. You are like a drug in my mind. You keep killing me with your rejection, minute after minute; hour after hour. I had to live without you for days that turned into weeks that become years. No more. Let the siren have him."
