Captivation: Want Nothing But You -
Chapter 1378
It had been that way since Victor was a child.
He was a man of few words.
Hector picked up his cane and harshly tapped it on Victor’s chair twice.
“Drink some water! Do you really have a death wish?”
As if on cue, Victor took a sip of water.
Seeing how stubborn Victor was, Hector was so infuriated that his chest heaved up and down.
There was nothing he could do about it.
“What are you going to do next? Are you going to keep on wasting your time with those people?”
“The evidence is conclusive.
There is no denying that I am now a suspect,” Victor said as he put the cup down.
His voice was devoid of emotion.
I will be sentenced to five to ten years of imprisonment.
Bang!
Again, Hector hit his chair, causing a loud banging sound to fill the air.
“Don’t give me that crap! I know what is on your mind.”
Still, Victor did not say a word and just looked up at Hector.
Hector frowned.
“I’m sure you’re not capable of doing such a thing.
I know you very welt.”
“I’m afraid you may have had the wrong impression of me.
It’s easy for the elderly to go gaga,” Victor replied.
“I’m not old enough to go gaga!” Hector snapped.
“I have no idea what you’re planning.
But I am warning you, get the hell out of this place.
If your health is affected, I will teach you a lesson!”
There was a shadow of a smile on Victor’s lips as he looked at
Hector.
Since Hector stepped into the room, Victor never showed a hint of emotion until now.
Relief washed over Hector when he saw Victor smile.
The moment he first laid his eyes on Victor, Hector knew that everything was under Victor’s control.
Victor must have had himself arrested on purpose so that he could achieve some goal.
“Do you need my help?” Hector asked.
“I do.”
“What can I do for you?”
Later that afternoon, Quintin informed Rachel of Wallace’s whereabouts in Apliaria.
