Wallace’s forehead was sweating profusely.

He knew what would happen if Odin found out he wasn’t the true King of Hearts since he had seen Odin’s ruthlessness firsthand.

“The password is wrong.

“Don’t you think this email is a hoax, boss? Possible programming mess in this document.” Quintin’s voice came over the earpiece.

Rachel remained silent as she stared at the window.

She had been trying many passwords since receiving this email, but none of them had been accepted thus far.

Though she remained silent, she agreed with Quintin’s viewpoint.

Since her inbox lacked any kind of spam protection, she sometimes got spam.

But if it were just spam, why would the sender bother with a password?

“A guy is here to speak with you, Miss Bennet.

He says he’s Mr.

Chavez.”

There was just one Mr.

Chavez that Rachel knew of among the folks she knew.

Maybe it was Ivan.

“Bring him in.” Rachel put the paperwork away and ended the conversation with Quintin.

The assistant didn’t waste any time bringing Mr.

Chavez in.

It was, indeed, the guy she thought of.

“Miss Bennet.” Although it had been barely a month since their last meeting, Ivan seemed considerably older, with heavy bags under his eyes indicating tiredness.
