Captivation: Want Nothing But You -
Chapter 1384
In actuality, he was aware that approaching Rachel was a mistake if he wanted help for Victor.
However, he was unable to reach Carson at the time.
It was chaos throughout the Sullivan Group, and he couldn’t even find Victor.
Aside from her, he couldn’t think of anybody else who would do.
Although Rachel had a strong dislike for Victor, she would not make things difficult for him.
Rachel did not pick up when Roger called.
She sipped her coffee again and remarked, “Ivan, I have to go out now.
You won’t be here for long.”
She got to her feet and headed to the wooden coat rack to remove her coat.

Rachel, while holding the shopping cart, seemed to be deep in thought.
Roger’s inquiry cut in on her.
They exchanged glances, and she responded, “Okay.”
Roger promptly reversed direction and grabbed another box from the shelf.
As soon as Roger placed the milk in the shopping cart, his phone rang.
Clara called.
She was anxious to hear how soon they would arrive.
He told Clara they would be there soon.
His gaze then shifted to Rachel.
Rachel stood there, expressionless, staring at the two milk cartons.
It seemed Like she was daydreaming.
Once she realized that someone was staring at her, she remarked,
“Could there be anything else we could buy? We..
Rachel started to go ahead with the shopping cart in tow while she talked.
Roger restrained her by holding her wrist.
Pausing, she turned around to meet Roger’s gaze.
Taking a peek at her, he released her hand.
“Rachel, are you feeling all right?”
She hadn’t been paying attention since he picked her up from the
Bennet Group building an hour before.
