The child jumped off the sofa and cut him off.

Her long, curly hair framed her face nicely, and the makeup around her eyes highlighted the color of her orbs even more.

She looked the same as the day when she met Wallace.

“Do you want me to give you a ride? Eva offered.

Putting a USB drive in her pocket, Rachel replied, “No, I’m good.

Thank you.”

Eva nodded and did not say anything else.

“I’UL transfer the money to your account later.

I don’t think I’m going to need to put on makeup like this again,” Rachel said.

“Okay.”

Eva was about to get in her car when Rachel suddenly spoke up again.

“Eva, aren’t you curious?”

Rachel was curious.

As nice as Eva’s nonchalance was, it slightly bothered her.

When Rachel first met Eva four years ago, she thought she was one of those people who were oblivious to the outside world.
