Could it be that Rachel just killed Alice?

The short-haired woman rushed into the room.

She found Alice lying unconscious in a pool of blood.

There was a cheap blanket right next to her on the floor, soaking most of it up.

“You… You’ve got to leave now.” Bryan’s mind was in a mess for several seconds, and then he came back to his senses.

“It’s only a matter of time before Ronan informs the police.”

Standing close by, the short-haired woman heard what he suggested to

Rachel.

But she would have none of it.

“You idiot! Perhaps you don’t understand how messed up this is.

She just murdered Alice.

Why on earth should she go scot-free? There are consequences for her inhumane action, and she has to face them.

If I were you, I wouldn’t be so quick to let her go.

You don’t want to risk being an accomplice and end up in jail, do you?”

“But, I can’t let her get caught.

She saved me.” Bryan was a stubborn man who couldn’t be persuaded so easily.

Rachel was about to leave when the short-haired woman rushed forward and stretched out her arms to block the way.

“You aren’t going anywhere!”

Then she turned to Bryan.

“What’s wrong with you? Call the police.”

Bryan tried to push the woman aside, but she didn’t budge.

“What has gotten into you?” There was a hint of anger in her eyes.

“Are you stupid?”

Both of them argued until she brought out her phone to make a call.

But Bryan was bent on stopping her.

He stretched out his hands and grabbed the device.

All of a sudden, Rachel spoke out loud enough for them to hear her.

“She’s not dead!”

Immediately, they stopped and looked at her.

“What? She’s not dead?” Bryan’s eyes widened.

“She is alive.

But if she doesn’t get help within the next hour or so, then she would die from shock and excessive bleeding.

” Rachel maintained her calm demeanor.

“The only way to save her now is to call an ambulance right away.

As for calling the police, well, you can go ahead and do that.”

“No!” Bryan shook his head.
