My every step was quick as Delta Robin followed me. We could hear the commotion outside the palace. The entrance of the palace is tightly closed so Delta Robin decided that we go through the basement because there is a secret tunnel out of the palace. I know I know that I am Delta Robin's responsibility and even if he doesn't want me to do this, he knows I can't be stopped.

"Is this the passage?" I asked Delta Robin when I saw a door below a staircase. I turned to Delta Robin and when I saw him nod, I quickly went down the stairs and grabbed the doorknob, but I stopped when it moved even though I hadn't opened it yet. "Someone is inside, Luna!" Delta Robin said. I swallowed hard and pulled Delta Robin to hide behind a concrete wall near the basement door.

"Did anyone know this passage, Delta?" I asked. If everyone knows about this tunnel, maybe it's an ally and was just ordered to enter this door so as not to be harmed. But if only a few people know about this tunnel there is a possibility that the person who may come out of that door is dangerous.

"No one knows this passage except the Scot family and...the Beta and Delta," Delta Robin said. I stopped. In that case, there is a possibility that Stone or Jules is the person behind that door. I can't help but get worried. I'm sure we won't be safe in the hands of Stone or Jules. But this is the opportunity for me to face either of the two. I have to do this to stop the chaos.

"You have to be ready, Delta Robin. There's a chance that we're expecting an enemy here," I said to Delta Robin as we hide behind the wall.

He nodded. I swallowed hard as I watched the doorknob turn as if someone was opening it from behind. My heart pounded faster when the door slowly opened. I swallowed hard as we waited for someone to come out.

I was surprised to see...Anna! Delta Robin and I looked at each other.

"Did Anna also know this passage?" I asked Delta Robin.

"I don't know. Maybe Stone told her?" Delta Robin said questioningly, not sure either. I watched Anna. She looks worried and tired. I can see her dirty clothes. She is anxious and restless.

"Should we...come to her?" I asked Delta Robin. He didn't say anything and just continued to watch Anna.

"I think something is bothering her," he concluded. I looked at Anna again and Delt Robin was right. It seems that something happened where he came from the reason why she is not looking well. "Don't make a noise or I'll kill you. Tell me where the Luna is," a scary voice came out of Jules' mouth. My heart pounded so fast. What's happening? Is Jules taking Anna as his hostage to find me? I was suddenly nervous. What happened to Damon? Didn't he stop Jules from entering the palace? Or maybe Jules ran away from Damon?

Damn it!

"I-I...can't...please...spare the Luna and stay away from Stone!" Anna said loudly. My eyes widened. Then she already knows about Stone and Jules. I don't know how Anna found out but one thing I'm sure of is that Jules is using Anna to find me! "I should go there..." I said softly and was about to come out of hiding when Delta Robin suddenly pulled me back. I turned to him, wondering what he had done.

"What can you do when you get out of here and face Jules? You will only get worse as well as Anna!" Delta Robin said. I was silent at what he said because I knew he was right. I lowered my eyes as I felt the pain in my chest. How can I help Anna without hurting her? "Then...how could I help her? And one more thing...this is also my plan from the beginning, right? I should face Jules and convince him to stop all this!" I reasoned. Delta Robin took a deep breath and watched me struggle with willpower from what was happening. "I I agree with you because I believe in you but my only priority here is you, Luna. I can't let you get in danger," he said seriously. I bit my lower lip and lowered my eyes. I feel so useless. I cannot do anything. I'm so stupid to believe that I can help Damon, but I can make him even more burdensome.

Tears stream down my eyes as I think about Damon. I don't know what happened to him. I want to know if he's okay. If he has a wound, I want to treat him and hug him to relieve even a little of the pain he feels. But even those simple things I can't do. I cannot do anything.

"Stay away from Stone? How could I stay away from him when he was the one who came to me from the very beginning?" I heard Jules say to Anna. I heard Anna's sobs. I feel the pain with every sob she makes. I know it hurts her to know that the man she loved her whole life is a traitor.

"You're lying! You brainwashed Stone! I know him! He would never side with a bad guy like you! He's loyal with Alpha Damon-"

"Loyal? How can he be loyal to the brother of the man who ruined both of your lives?" Jules said coldly. Tears flowed down my cheeks more and more. "T-That's not true..." Anna sobbed.

"Alpha Devon knows from the very start that Rema's men killed his parents and violated you but the moment they held his precious little brother...he turned back from his responsibilities and made amends from Rema...leaving the justice all behind," said emphatically Jules to Anna. I heard the pain more and more with her sob of Anna.

I wiped off my tears. I feel Anna's pain. I even promised her that I will make sure she gets justice. But how can I do that when Alpha Devon has finished everything? I can't blame Alpha Devon, but I know how wrong it all is. I know that's not what should have happened. But if he hadn't made that decision, Damon wouldn't be here today.

"Can you serve someone like Alpha Devon? I understand Stone why he chose this path-"

"But...Alpha Devon is not Damon! I know...Damon is different from his brother! I know that this time Damon will uphold justice!" Anna interrupted what Jules was saying. My lips parted at what she said. I was completely stunned. I don't think that in the middle of hearing from Jules she was still able to defend Damon!

"Are you stupid? Alpha Damon may not be as stupid as his brother, but Alpha Damon is the reason why until now...you're still miserable!" Jules said angrily. I took a deep breath and didn't hold back. I quickly came out of hiding and showed Jules and Anna. I heard Delta Robin's curses as he watched me come out. "You're wrong!" I said. They both turned to me. I saw the shock in Anna's eyes and Jules' blank expression.

"Oh, there you are Luna, I don't need to scare Anna anymore because you're going out on your own," Jules said with an evil smile. I gave him a sharp look.

"Because I won't let you harm Anna! And you're wrong about Anna being miserable! Because she was right! Damon will surely right the mistakes of his brother!" I said bravely. He raised an eyebrow and pushed Anna away from him causing Anna to fall to the floor. I quickly approached Anna to support her.

"You're wrong about Alpha Damon, Luna. Because the Damon I know will surely seek revenge for the death of his brother..." I heard his dark voice as he slowly approached me.
