Claimed By My Three Alphas -
Chapter 136
"HELP!" Natasha screamed at the top of her lungs, drawing the attention of the other campers as they all swooped into action and rushed towards her. "H-He's trying to kill me." She stuttered, one hand holding onto her neck and the other hand shakily pointing
towards Asher's cabin. The teachers and other tour guides dashed out of their cabins and briskly approached her.
They were all having a nice dinner and going about their normal activities before they would call it a night when they heard her high pitch earsplitting scream. At first, they had thought that someone had been attacked by a wild animal or something dangerous had infiltrated the campgrounds but that wasn't the case at all.
"Natasha, what's wrong?" One of the teachers tried to hold and steady her movements but she wouldn't let them. She was sweating profusely and her eyes were roaming around the place In a confused manner. For a moment there, everyone thought that she was on the verge of losing it.
"H-He...." She stammered. "He's not a human." She said at last. "Asher is not a human. He's a beast. He had furs and fangs and his eyes... they changed colors and glowed differently. The tour guide wasn't lying when he told us about the beast-"
"Get a hold of yourself, Natasha!" One of the teachers shook her profusely but she wouldn't stop rambling. How could she? How would she when she saw it with her own two eyes? Her soul had practically left her body when she saw it herself. She thought that she was only imagining it but she wasn't. She had seen it.
"You have to believe me. All of you have to believe me." She pleaded, pointing at everyone standing there. "Asher is not human. They are not human. They are not who we think they are. They're out to get us. They-" She screamed at the top of her voice when she saw Asher step out of the cabin. He made to take a step closer to her but she took a thousand steps backwards. She lost her footing In the process and crashed to the ground.
"Get him away from me." She hid herself behind a teacher, not taking a step forward. "Don't let him come closer to me. If you do, then he'll kill me. He promised to end my life! Stay away from me you monster!"
Levi heard the commotion from inside his cabin and rushed outside with Amery trailing closely behind him. At first, he wanted to ignore it because he thought that it was just Natasha putting on an act to display her little gimmicks and tricks to everyone but when he heard Asher's name repeatedly, something inside him made him restless and he had no choice but to see it for himself.
"You're one of them aren't you?" Natasha pointed at him. Levi was perturbed to see her acting like this. If he didn't know any better, he would think that she had already lost her s**t in front of everyone but she was seriously pointing at him.
"I have always known that there was something off about the two of you. It is clear that you both are not normal. You're BEASTS!" she ranted on and Levi threw his brother a glance. The rapid rise and fall of his chest was enough proof to indicate that he was visibly angry.
Someone scoffed from the crowd. "You're always a drama queen looking for ways to be the centre of attraction all the time. How on earth can you claim that Asher is a beast? Where's the proof?"
Everyone chimed in to support what the person had just said.
"We're not surprised if you're making this up to feel relevant again." Another spoke up. "It's always one issue or another when it comes to you Natasha but you went too far tonight. Do you have any idea how scared you made all of us? We thought that something terrible had happened to you but you were just being your annoying self as usual."
"You think I'm making this up!" She yelled at them furiously. "He changed into this animal and tried to kill me. Why would I make up something like that if it didn't happen?"
"Because you're Natasha. That's what you do." Someone countered from the crowd gathered at the premise. "If you're not plotting ways to bring down someone then you're always thinking of other things to do to make yourself feel important. We all know what you're capable of and seriously it is beginning to get old so please get over yourself." Another told her off angrily.
"Alright, everyone." One of the teachers shouted at the top of her voice. "Let's break up this commotion and go back to our cabins. It's already late and you all need to get some rest before tomorrow. Now go!" She ordered and they all dispersed into their various rooms leaving Natasha with the teachers and tour guides who were trying to get down to the bottom of everything.
"Natasha." Mr. Anderson, the tour guide beckoned as he crouched down next to her.
"I saw it." She insisted. "I saw him. I'm not lying. I saw him with my very eyes. He had fangs and fur and his eyes...." She paused when she realized that they were looking at her a little too strangely as though she was losing her mind. She decided to stop talking altogether. If this keeps up, then people would think that she was indeed going mad and might send her to a mental asylum or worse.
"About what I said at the bonfire the other day..." He began. "None of those stuffs are real. I only made them up because I was asked to tell a story to you guys but I can assure you that everything was completely made up. There are no strange creatures or beasts having furs and fangs."
She swallowed. She was itching to tell him that he was wrong but she couldn't. No one would believe her. They didn't believe her up until now so would it make any difference if she should keep talking?
"Maybe it was a figment of imagination my child. The trees and most times, the grasses surrounding us in this place can be overwhelming to the point that we think that we are seeing things but we are not. I cannot begin to count the number of times that they have fooled me so I can completely understand but I can also assure you that they are no such things okay?" He asked and Natasha slowly nodded her head at his request. She knew what she saw and nobody can convince her otherwise.
"Let's just say that you got scared Natasha but don't pull a stunt like this next time. It's not funny and somebody could've gotten hurt." They warned her sternly. "We'll let it go for today but I do hope that it doesn't repeat itself for the second time. You may go" They dismissed her and she begrudgingly walked back to her cabin after throwing Asher a glance.
The minute the entire crowd dispersed, Asher walked back into his room and Levi followed, ignoring Amery's call to try and stop him. They got into his cabin and he shut the door behind them.
"What exactly is wrong with you Asher and what did you do to Natasha? What was the meaning of all those things that was displayed outside tonight?" Levi bombarded him with different questions but he didn't respond to any.
"Ever since you got back from wherever you came from, you have been acting strange and you have been making a mess out of everything." He said angrily. "First of all, you went out of your way to date Natasha and invite her to our dinner and now you're going as far as exposing our identity? Is it really what you have been reduced to? Answer me!"
"Our dinner?" He scoffed. "You mean the dinner that you set up with your supposed girlfriend to mock me? Was the dinner ever intended for both of us in the first place?"
"Are you really going to lose your s**t because of a woman? Are you willing to go to this extent because you want to make Amery yours?!"
"Yes!" Asher yelled loudly. "I am willing to do everything and anything I can to make sure that she ends up by my side. You are acting as if this has always been a topic for debate. You know as much as anyone the reason why we came here. You of all people should know why we risked it all and broke a sacred tradition to be here and now you're telling me to simply just let it go because she chose you instead?"
"Amery didn't choose me-"
"Of course, she didn't." Asher primped. "You're only playing the game just like the rest of us Levi. I admire your courage and work ethic. You made her sleep with you despite making everyone believe that you felt nothing for her. It was all a lie, wasn't it? You did that to throw us off the course so that you could have her for yourself didn't you?"
"Are you even listening to yourself right now?"
"I am." He conceded. "Are you? Because your little girlfriend is asking to be with all of us instead of picking one. Have you told her what would happen if she doesn't do her duty or should I?"
"When did you change so much?" Levi shook his head slowly in disbelief. If anyone had told him that his brother would one day end up like this, then he probably wouldn't have believed it but it was unfolding In front of his very own eyes.
"You know what?" Asher stalked closer to Levi till they were only inches apart from each other. "I'm ready to risk it all at this point because I have nothing to lose. I don't even care if I lose myself in the process or if anyone uncovers my secret but I am not going to back down from this fight so be prepared brother, it's going to get wild now."
Levi nodded once. "I know what to do now. Thank you for clearing that thought up for me Asher." And with that, Levi stormed out of his brother's cabin without giving so much as a backward glance to anyone.
