Chapter 139

Amery was panting. Levi could tell that she was so lost with everything happening right now. She opened her eyes slowly to find him gazing down at her with a small smile on his lips. longing that made her breath caught up in her throat.

"Hi beautiful" He murmured, his wet hair falling down to his face. She literally swallowed her heart down at the sight in front of her. Levi's hair was scattered. His lips were red and swollen from kissing her. He stared at her with eyes filled with tenderness, care and "I love you Amery" He finally said. He didn't know if he meant it or if he was only saying it at the spur of the moment. Amery on the other hand couldn't believe what she had just heard. At first, she thought that she was probably imagining things but she wasn't. He had really said those words to her.

"Levi."

He must have seen the decision in her eyes to continue because he started kissing her all over again. Slow licks and bites that started on her lips and down her body. He took his time caressing and worshipping every inch of her body until she wanted nothing else but him.

"Levi, please..." She pleaded but she was determined to continue.

He hooked her legs around his shoulders as he once again pleasured her in the most intimate part of her body. "You're so good. You taste so good" He groaned.

"I'm here Amery" He whispered when she strained against him. His voice awakened her senses. He sounded like he was in pain. Suddenly, she grew aware of the hardness between his thighs and the uncomfortable tightness of his legs. "Levi?"

"It's okay Amery. I don't want to do something that you're not prepared for. I don't want you doing this because you want to please me. I'll be fine." He assured her but she knew that he wouldn't be fine. She needed to make him feel what he just made her feel. She should give that to him.

She loved how he loved her lips and the way he kissed her as if he couldn't get enough. The way he savoured every part of her. She loved the way he expressed his longing and hunger with his eyes. So sincere.

She knew from this point onward that her heart belonged to him because he was her mate but she wanted to belong to him and him to her completely.

"Are you sure? I don't want you to do things that you're not sure of or going to regret later because Asher-."

She caressed his lips with her tongue and a groan escaped his chest as he positioned himself on top of her taking over the kiss. He was in charge and they both knew it.

"I will love no one but you," he whispered before he entered her. Amery lost her breath and closed her eyes as she battled the urge to push him off her. She felt full, ripped apart. That's when she realized that he was being gentle and not hard on her as he normally preferred it.

She opened her eyes. His hands caressed the side of her face as he gazed at her and she melted.

He started licking her bottom lip and sucking it in his mouth. She felt his hand petting her down there causing a familiar pull once again.

She moved her hips and she discovered that his thrusts had been replaced by an inexplicable pleasure that spread between her legs and shot up her spine. She bit her lips, closing her eyes tightly as she moaned.

Shortly into the night, Levi convulsed and thrashed repeatedly on the huge master's bed. He was having a nightmare but this nightmare was different than anything he had ever experienced or seen before.

The more he tried to force his eyes open, the more difficult it was. He felt as if he was being sucked in. He saw himself in a room with Amery next to him. He saw the bite mark on her neck and screamed out in horror when he realized what he had just done. He had marked her!

It can't be. There's no way he could have done that. He has always been careful. He has always tried his very best to curb his hunger. Struggling to understand what was happening, he heard loud piercing screams of terror and anguish coming from outside his bedroom. He slowly approached the door and the more he did, the more louder and terrifying the noises became.

He hurried outside to see his brothers writhing in pain and crying out to him to help them but he couldn't. He tried to take a step but found his feet rooted to the ground, in that spot.

"Levi..." Quincy beckoned, choking as his life force slowly slipped away. Right there in front of his very eyes, their faces grew pale and they fell to the ground with their eyes almost bulging out of their sockets. The veins on their neck were visible and white as though all the blood had been drained from their system.

"No!" He screamed. Trying to reach out to them but he still couldn't move. He felt stuck and helpless and that's when his mother appeared. She was covered in blood and she stared at him with nothing but hate and anger.

"You let them DIE!" She screamed at him and he shook his head as the tears fell freely from his eyes. "I asked you to protect them, Levi. I begged you to not let anything happen to them but you went ahead to kill them with your own two hands." "I-I didn't..." He stuttered as the tears fell rapidly. "I wanted to help-"

"Help!" She asked painfully. "Their blood will forever remain on your conscience Levi and you will suffer it alone."

Levi fell to his knees bawling his eyes out and just then, he felt a shadow cast upon him. He raised his eyes slowly to see Amery staring at him with a smirk on her face. Her eyes were fixed on him with intent and if he didn't know any better, he'd say that she was mocking him which was exactly what she was doing at that very moment.

Angry, he balled his hands into fists and just as he was about to hit her, he woke up to someone shaking him.

"Levi, are you okay?" He heard the familiar voice of Amery and he pulled away from her touch. She was taken aback by what he had just done but was surprised at how he rolled out of bed and started wearing his clothes.

"Levi?" She made to touch him but shifted back. "What's wrong."

"I want to be left alone Amery" He said in a deep but firm voice. "Don't try to come close to me and don't stop me, please." He finished wearing his clothes and stormed out of their cabin leaving her to wonder what exactly she had done to get him upset with her for no reason at all.
