Death Wolf Chapter 51

15 days later:

1 day before the summoning

“Open the doors!”

Volkan speaks in his Alpha voice to only have the guards to bow.

“I am afraid Alpha King. You can’t enter.”

“No one is allowed to enter as per the elders orders.”

Volkan clenches his fists, not saying anything. His eyes set on the glass window from where he could see a girl laying on a bed,restrained to it, surrounded by tubes and medical equipment.

Medical wires attached to her stomach, her head, her arms. Like she was a fuc*ing test subject for these elders.

He wishes to kill these pathetic guards and hug his Thora to his chest, telling her she is going to be fine.

But it was quite evident that if this incident gets reported to elders, which it will.

There are high chances they will question his relationship with her and if they come to know about it.

Within seconds he will be called evil and dethroned from the position of the king.

Fuc*!

He cursed in his mind with a heavy heart. It’s time, it’s nearly time for the summoning and he is here, helpless.

Unable to do anything because of his damned position!

Charlotte…this all happened because of that bitc*! He had made sure to teach her a lesson but no matter what.

He can’t reverse anything and get Thora back in his arms.

He can’t go against the elders.

They are at the top of the werewolf council,and he is instead accountable to them.

Darn it!

“Alpha Volkan?”

He turns around to see Andrew, one of the elders standing there. With his hands behind his back and a confused look on his face.

“Elder”

Volkan bows in acknowledgement. To only have the elder to nod.

“What are you doing here Volkan? I thought you left for the plains yesterday?”

Volkan doesn’t say anything. Just stares at the elder, who looks at him sceptically.

“Just wanted to check on her.”

The elder nods, looking at the guards . They bow opening the doors for them.

“Come”

Volkan gulps, not too sure if he could see her in that condition. But he knew he had to.

Following behind the elder, the cold temperature in the experiment room , made a shiver to travel down Volkan’s spine.

As he states at her.

Her injuries have almost healed. But she looks too thin… except for that noticeable baby bump.

She could deliver any time.

She was almost due and in coma for last few days since they brought her here.

Volkan couldn’t help, trace that scar on her face. When Andrew says beside her.

“What a beautiful innocent being yet capable to summon the most deadliest wolf in the world. Isn’t it a irony?”

Volkan retreats his finger,to place it back in his jacket pocket. Looking up to meet Andrews eyes.

“Indeed it is. But why so many tubes and equipments? What are all the elders planning to do with her?”

Andrew sighs , looking up at him.

“You must know Volkan. A being like her is born in centuries. To be able to summon the death wolf, this girl is no way normal.”

“It’s useless! The girl is a mere human! It’s no use experimenting on her like that!”

Volkan says almost frustrated. His voice rising. To only have Andrey look at him in suspicion.

“It seems you know the girl well Alpha King. Do you know her from before?”

Andrew asks, to only make Volkan clench his fist. His eyes fixed at Thora’s closed ones.

“Yes.”

He speaks the truth this time. Making Andrews eyes to widen.

“That wasn’t expected. So you kept her hidde-“

Volkan doesn’t let him complete. Looking at him with a hardened jaw and narrowed eyes.

“I wasn’t aware she was the one. I told you she was just like any normal wolf out there.”

Andrew nods, ending the discussion. When suddenly a sensor starts beeping loudly. Thora’s forehead starts sweating and Volkan almost panics, till Andrew speaks pointing at a machine showing her heart rate.

“You see this Alpha? Her heart rate spikes when the wolf tries to get the control.”

“Please move back”

Andrew says,to only pull back Volkan from his arm. Mindlinking someone as very next second medical staff rushes in with medicines and supplies.

“Hurry up. It’s coming back.”

Andrew says but before they could inject it, a sudden darkness started surrounding them. Making them all to gulp.

“Stay still. No one will move!”

Andrew orders and everyone freezes. To only see Thora’s closed eyes opening to those white pupils, making fear to enter everyone’s heart.

Low growls emerge from Thora’s lips as her chest moves up and down, restrained by those medical straps around her torso and legs.

“Grrrrr Ahhhhhhhh”

The heavy voice speaks and Volkan just stares, seeing that monster take over his innocent Thora’s body.

Her body wringling, making the straps and silver chains to burn her skin.

“Inject! Now!”

Andrew orders his men and one of them move forwards to inject her, trembling.

Those white pupils stop at that man’s scared brown ones and as soon as the man came in a feet’s distance to her.

A scream leaves the man’s lips as he falls down on his knees, the injection slipping from between his fingers as his back arches, the scream intensifying.

Andrew injects the iv with the medicine. Knowing it was impossible to stop him otherwise. To only see the man still battling.

Everyone stared at the man’s brown eyes getting darker every second as Thora’s white eyes stared at him.

And slowly slowly, those dark clouds envelope man’s body to almost make him invisible to everyone.

Surrounded by darkness.

The scream subsides and so do the clouds, making the dead body of that man to fall down dead.

His eyes lifeless,as his soul has been sucked out of his body.

Deadly silence follows as they see the wolf sighing in victory. Adjusting to the energy from the new soul.

When the medicine in the iv kicks in.

Thora’s body again starts thrashing, to only make Volkan clench his fist.

The wolf was hurting his Thora….she has to be there. She can’t let a monster control her?

“Thora? I know you are there? Come back Thora”

Volkan tries, stepping closer to that thrashing body that suddenly stills. Those white pupils stare at him and Andrew stops him.

“Alpha King it’s dangero-‘

“Let me”

Volkan says, moving aside Andrew’s arm. His eyes fixed in those white ones that were known to suck souls of the one who stared at them.

“I am sorry Thora. I am so sorry for everything I did. Please forgive me.”

Volkan almost pleads with tears streaming down her eyes. Those eyes again flickering between white and brown. When suddenly a loud growl emerges.

“You lierrrrr!!!!!! You killedddddd herrr youuuu foooolllll !!! Now you ask for forgiveness? Never! Never! Neeeverrrrrr!!!?!”

It was the death wolf speaking.And Volkan stood frozen. The wolf was taking her side? Does this mean….

“How…how do you know?”

Volkan asks scared to only have those white eyes look straight into him. And he could bet that he could see it smirk.

“I wassss withhhh herrr!!! Everytime you hated her! You hurt herrrr!!! I was thereeee!”

“Andddd I willl make sure you sufferrr!!! Youuuu all will dieeee! You willl dieeee!!! “

That’s when her thrashing comes down. To only have the doors to open.

As a guard comes in breathing heavily, fear evident in his eyes.

“Elder! Elder! They….they…..”

“What happened?”

Andrew asks anxiously, his next words making fear to emerge in everyone’s heart.

“We are under attack Elder!”

“The hunters are here for the girl.”

And that’s when they all hear a chuckling sound to only see a smirk apparent on the girl’s face. Making her innocent face look devilish.

“Enjoy fools….I have laid the foundationnnn forrrr yourrr destructionnnn!!!!”

Everyone gulps as Thora’s eyes start closing. The last words the wolf makes her speak, making them all fear their future from here.

“You all are going to diiiiieeeeee! Dieeee! “

“This is just the beginning”

A deadly silence follows as the clouds of darkness disappears in the air, to only leave a heaviness in everyone’s chest.

The heaviness that symbolises the beginning of the summoning of death.

With the hunters and werewolves ready for a war of the century, let’s see who wins to save the girl ?

Or rather who survives to face her wrath?
