The Fairy’s Forbidden Mate Chapter 86

"That necklace looks like it belongs on your neck. It is beautiful." Ruby gushed as she noticed the sparkling gem.

Rhea giggled. "It sort of does belong on my neck." She did not offer any other explanation then that.

"Okay, don't be nervous and just let Leviathan lead. We both went through this already as you know. It is actually... kind of special feeling and wasn't embarrassing at all." Lila said as she thought back to her acceptance kiss. Rhea nodded and smiled. She would let Lee lead... at first. But in her eyes the acceptance kiss would need to go both ways.

"You ready?" Kelsie grinned and hooked arms with Rhea.

Kelsie had changed so much since she came here. She knew it had to do with her being with Cody. Ever since then she had become more tolerable of others and her world had been opened up. She was happier. Rhea smiled at her dear friend and nodded. The four girls walked towards the party tents. Titus and Grayson walked up and each took hold of their mate's arm. Dex and Weston were also there. Dex offered his arm to Rhea who took it with a wide smile. Weston extended his to Kelsie who looked at him with a raised brow.

"Cody asked if I could please escort you in. I promise to keep my nasty dragon scent to myself." He offered his arm up to her with a wry smile.

To Rhea's surprise Kelsie giggled and nodded. "As long as you promise I won't get your dragon musk on me I'll survive." She connected arms with Weston and the four of them headed into the tented area.

As they entered, the crowd hushed, and all eyes were on Rhea. Rhea subconsciously squeezed her fingers into Dex's arm. He smiled and glanced at her. Her eyes scanned over the area. Then up at the front she caught sight of two familiar figures. Lee and Cody were standing in the very front of the dragons. Lee had been addressing the dragons. It was curious that Cody would be standing up front at Lee's side. She looked up at Dex curiously as the man smiled knowingly. Soon, she was standing right in front of Lee. Her eyes met with his and then the world faded away. She was lost in his light blue crystals. The loving way he was gazing at her made her stomach do tiny flips. She saw his hand reach out to her. With a smile she reached out and took it. She felt the light tingling sparks of electricity shoot through her. Wow, did she really love this man. Their bond only continued to get stronger and stronger. Soon... it would be even more powerful. She would mark him and make him her fairy prince. A new power would give birth tonight. She could feel it. Something amazing would soon happen. He pulled her into him and wrapped his arm around her body tightly, holding her flush against his skin. She watched as he nodded to Dex and then continued to smile down at her.

Her eyes flashed over to Cody who also had Kelsie at his side now. She was curious what the situation was with that. She gave Lee a confused smile which he just smiled wider at. He then looked up over the crowd of dragons.

"Like I have mentioned earlier. These are the two guardians who are in charge of protecting my mate. As such, their position is important. They will be ranked just below a king's ranking." Lee then had a glint of evil flicker over his eyes. "Since this is a very special situation..." Rhea looked at him curiously wondering what he was getting at. "I have decided that these two will show their commitment to each other as well to you at this time. Sealing their position and their claim on each other as mates." Lee grinned widely as the two of them looked at him in shock.

Serves them right for letting you wear that skimpy outfit the other day. They did it to mess with my head. Lee said smugly in Rhea's mind.

You are so vindictive! Rhea smiled and shook her head.

Yes, when it comes to you, I am quite sinister. Now let's enjoy this moment of putting them on the spot.

"You want me to... mark her publicly?" Cody asked in a hushed tone as he cleared his throat nervously.

"Yes. It is only natural. We need everyone to know that you two are mated as well. And since you hold a high position it is necessary." Lee said with a smirk resting on his face.

"That's a dragon thing though." Kelsie said mortified.

"Technically you will be living among us dragons, so it is only appropriate you uphold our traditions." Titus said coming to Lee's aid.

Rhea could feel their embarrassment but couldn't hide the smile on her face. Hey, why should she sympathize. She was about to go through it too. Besides, she agreed. Kelsie set her up in that outfit just to t*****e Lee. She had confessed to it too. This was well deserved payback. Leave it to Lee to come up with a very fitting punishment.

"You are not joking, huh?" Cody looked up at the expectant audience. Cody knew Levi was making them honorary members of the dragons. He had no clue that this was also being planned. He felt very awkward and put on the spot. He looked at Kelsie and gave her a small smile.

"This is your moment." Lee grinned and took a few steps back with Rhea in tow. Titus and Lila (who were the only others left up there) also pulled back behind Lee. Dex, Grayson and Ruby were anxiously watching from a nearby table.

"Okay Kels. I guess I will show everyone just who you belong to." Cody felt a sense of possessiveness flow through him. This was a good idea. He couldn't stand it if anyone tried to flirt with HIS girl. He looked at her as the possessiveness in him grew. He felt his fangs begin to draw out as his animal began to demand he claim his mate. The quiet whisper of the word mine echoed in his mind. He placed a firm hand around her waist and then another around her head. Then he lowered himself next to her neck. He took in a gentle whiff of her scent. HIS scent. And then sank his fangs into her neck.

The crowd clapped their hands and cheered for the new couple of power in front of them. This was a night of history being made. Though, they had not seen anything yet. This was only the beginning of new things to come. Cody pulled away and gently licked the fresh mark he had made on Kelsie's neck. He leaned his head into her and the two smiled as they looked at one another. Though Kelsie was riddled with embarrassment in that moment she only saw Cody. He leaned in and kissed her nose gently then looked up at Lee. He smiled and shook his head. Damn vengeful dragon. Cody wasn't slow on the uptake. He knew Lee had left this moment a secret on purpose. He gently led Kelsie further to the side as Lee pulled Rhea forward for the main event. Are you nervous, love? Lee asked looking into her deep sapphire eyes.

No, I was born to be yours. Rhea watched as his eyes finally flickered down to her necklace.

He stared at the necklace as it shimmered in front of him. He had almost forgotten about his mate gem. It was a gem he was to give his mate. He knew that the Sage must have given it to her. He lifted a hand up and gently touched the cold stone on her neck. It looks beautiful on you...

Rhea smiled. She wanted to tell him about the gem and the sprite that dwelled in it. This wasn't the time now. Besides, soon he would be able to see the sprite for himself.

The crowd hushed in anticipation of their deity showing his acceptance of his mate. A moment that had never happened before in any lifetime. Lee continued to gaze into her deep pooling eyes. He lifted a hand and brushed her cheek with it. He leaned his head against hers.

"I've waited for you forever... This moment means so much to me." He whispered quietly looking at her. "I love you Rhea. For all eternity. You are the only one who will ever have my heart." He leaned in and kissed her lips lightly. He then expertly made his way down towards her neck. Giving her skin little nips of attention on his way to his destination. He ran his hand around her lower back holding her flush against his body. His other hand resting on the side of her face as he gently held her in place. She felt him hover just over her marking spot. His hot breath scorched her skin as his hot poker tongue prodded at the mark gently. Then she felt his lips seal around her neck. The feeling of a hot iron searing into her soon faded with courses of pleasure running through her body. Why was it so much more intense this time? She bit her bottom lip hard as she drew little blood droplets in her mouth. She was doing everything she could to not moan from the intimate moment.

Slowly she felt him pull away from her. She took in a deep breath to compose herself. This wasn't over yet. She was now going to stake her claim on him. She looked at him and lifted her hands up to his neck. She applied pressure on his shoulders to lower him down. He looked at her quizzingly but slowly complied. The crowd hushed. They were also unsure what was happening now. Wasn't the acceptance kiss over?

Rhea pushed Lee downwards further until he reached his knees. The crowd did not know how to act with their deity on his knees before his mate. They quietly watched with shallow breaths.

"Lee. I am accepting you as my present and future and prince to fairy kind." She then leaned down and kissed his forehead and then his eyes.

He felt a warmth flow over him, like warm water being poured over his body. He felt a power form inside of him. He wasn't able to analyze anything further because soon he felt Rhea's hot breath against his neck. He felt her tongue gently lap at his sensitive area. His eyes shut as a small shudder ran through his body.

"Now Lee, it is time for me to claim you as mine." Rhea whispered into his neck. She felt her canines push through. Lumi was also desiring for them to mark their mate. Her instinct was taking over. She lowered her fangs into his neck slowly but deeply. She was making sure that she left him a lasting mark.

Was he supposed to feel pain? Because he didn't. Instead, he felt an indescribable amount of pleasure course inside of him. He squeezed his fist to rein in his animal. His inner beast was fighting to mate with her. To take her in that very public moment. This was like nothing he had ever felt before. It was incredible. It was amazing. His mate was marking him. He couldn't help the smile that formed on his lips. Damn did he love this girl. She had no idea how much she controlled him.

She slowly pulled away and licked on her mark. HER mark that she had placed on HER mate. Finally. They were complete. Rhea could feel something else stirring inside of her. A small pop was felt in her chest and she felt something new flowing inside of her. Lee stood back up and wrapped his arms around Rhea gently kissing her lips. The crowd was clapping and cheering. A scene they had never been seen before. A mutual acceptance kiss.

The world was still silent for the two as he continued to gaze at her with adoration. He could feel something new flowing in him. Once when she made him her prince and something else when she marked him. It was coursing through his veins and he was curious as to what this new power was. He could also feel the presence of Kelsie and Cody in his mind. He would now be able to mind link with them.

Lee looked over at Titus. He walked up to him with Rhea at his side. He reached out his hand but instead Titus went in for a hug. Titus wasn't hugging a deity. He was hugging his older brother. He was so happy for him. Lee smiled and hugged him back. "I guess I owe you a thanks for meddling in my life that day by keeping her here."

"Hey, what are brothers for?" Titus grinned and pulled back. He continued grinning as he looked at Rhea. "Well... you really did what you said you were going to. Nicely done." Titus winked at her then redirected his gaze back to Lee. He gave him a knowing look. "I can handle the rest."

Lee smiled and shook his head. "Thanks." He slapped Titus on the back and then pulled Rhea along with him. There was nothing else needed from them tonight. They didn't have to mingle with all the dragons like a king would. Lee never associated with the other dragons much before and that wouldn't change now. With the exception of their royal friends.

He pulled Rhea out to the field in the distance. He was going to spend some precious time with the best damn mate he could have ever asked for.
