The Fairy’s Forbidden Mate Chapter 87

She looked up at the sky that had been peppered with little twinkling diamonds. The night air was cool but not cold. Little fireflies sparkled around them as he held her close to his chest. "I hope that was okay to do." Rhea's voice was quiet as she looked up at the sky.

"It was more than okay. It was just hard to control myself afterwards. I was wanting to continue with the moment." Lee's voice answered in a soothing tone that sent shivers down her spine. Rhea looked over her new mark on Lee's neck. She reached her hand up and traced along it. "From now on there will be no mistake that you are taken." Lee chuckled and held her hand over his mark. "This is the most precious thing you have ever given me. Well except for one other thing that was more precious." Lee winked at her as he talked about her giving him her virginity. "This mark is a symbol of you claiming me and I can't tell you how much it touches me Rhea."

"I guess I have a bit more of a possessive side to me now with Lumi finally out. I am going to have a hard time learning to control my anger. Hopeful now that you are marked, I won't have to worry about others as much." Rhea smiled and she brushed his skin with her thumb.

"We don't have to hide anymore." Rhea sighed and tilted her head to look at Lee's smiling face. She had a sense of relief in that aspect. She didn't have to hide being close to Lee around the other dragons.

"Thank goodness for that. I couldn't hide anymore. Hopefully this is all enough. Us being mated and accepted is enough for the deities. I mean, I am the fairy prince now." He winked down at Rhea. "I can feel a new power in me. Not sure what it is yet but it will be interesting to see."

"Well one of the new powers will be the gift of fairy sight." Rhea took a step back to fully face him. She lifted up her necklace. "It looks like it belongs on my neck doesn't it."

Lee chuckled. "It was only meant for your neck. Hey, what is that?" He leaned in closer and studied the gem. He could see something strange inside of the gem. Something that he did not ever see before.

"You heard that this was called a living gem, right?" She looked at Lee and watched him nod his head. "Well, this is what gave this gem a life. A sprite has molded its life with the gem."

"Wow. That is amazing. I could always feel an energy from the gem but I couldn't see anything else." Lee had a childlike excitement in his tone as he looked at the gem.

"I wonder what sort of power the gem has." Rhea looked down at the sparling stone on her neck.

"You think it has a power?" Lee asked looking up to Rhea's eyes.

"My great grandmother became one with the barrier in Elysium making it stronger. This sprite molded it's lifeforce to this gem for a reason." Rhea lowered the necklace back down and glanced up into his baby blue eyes.

He was smiling down at her. "What are the odds a fairy is linked with my gem and my mate ends up being a fairy?"

"I'd say pretty incredulous." Rhea smiled holding his gaze.

"I knew you are always meant to be mine." He leaned in and gently took her lips into his own. Tasting her sweet lips. Yes, those sweet lips that belonged to him. He then pulled away and looked at her questionably. "This... this would mean that we were long planned. Even this gem being created was planned for you." He flashed his eyes to hers. "It would have taken a goddess with great premonition skills to..."

"Like the Moon Goddess, Selene?" Rhea asked with a small smile.

"How much does that meddling woman know?" Lee chuckled and rested his head against Rhea's. "I have needed you before I even knew you. Before you even existed, I have searched for you. Finally, I am at rest having you by my side. Thank you Rhea. Thank you for being born for me."

"No Lee, thank you for being mine." Rhea needed him just as much as he needed her. She leaned up and kissed his lips gently.

"So what about these other powers?" Lee asked as he pumped his chest out making Rhea giggle.

"Fairy powers are different. You have to discover and learn them for yourself. The powers and gifts can be so different. It can take some time before you will discover what all you have been blessed with. Look at me. I have been a fairy all my life and I haven't even touched the tip of my fairy powers." Rhea shrugged with a smile. It was just the way their magic worked. Sometimes the power came to you when you needed it the most. "I felt a stronger power there too. Maybe it was our mate bond getting stronger because I marked you? Whatever it was it wasn't clear. Just something new inside of me."

"I don't know. I've never been marked before." He winked at Rhea who giggled.

"You better not have ever been marked before." She said with fake sternness. She traced her mark on his neck with her fingertips watching him close his eyes with her touch. Her mate was breath taking. It was hard to believe he belonged to her. He leaned into her hand and then tenderly kissed his fingers.

"Well, are you ready?" Lee asked with a large grin on his face.

"Ready for what?" Rhea giggled.

"I promised once everything was out in the open, I would take you for a ride. Didn't I?" Lee watched as her eyes widened in excitement.

"Seriously?! Now? I'm so excited." Rhea squealed. "I'm in a dress?"

"Well, you rode a horse in barely a skirt so I think we can manage." Lee smirked and watched her happy grin.

Lee leaned in and kissed her forehead. He then took a few steps away from her and pushed his dragon form forward. His skin soon turned blue as his body grew to a monstrous size. Rhea looked at the beautiful dragon in front of her. She walked up and reached her hand out to touch him. He leaned his head into her hands. She held onto his face and leaned her head against him. Her amazing mate. He was hers.

She pecked his face quickly and then excitedly climbed on his back. She took a position around his neck and above his wings. "Giddy up." Rhea clicked her heels into him and giggled. She heard his light snort in reply, and she could not wipe the grin off of her face. She was so thrilled to be on the back of a dragon.

She felt his wings flap as gusts of wind moved from him. Soon they began to move upwards as they lifted in the air. He took her high into the sky and flew smoothly with her on his back. She couldn't help but to admire the sight around her. It was so different from being on a hippogryph. The ride was smoother, and they were higher. She took in the sight of the beautiful mountain. How different it was as you looked down on it. The treetops canvassed the area creating a tent shielding what was underneath it.

She felt the wind flow through her hair, and she took in a deep breath of its freeing freshness. She felt such freedom. Her soul felt incredibly alive in that moment. She looked out in the distance towards Elysium and then farther past it to where the Diamond pack is. "Lee. Do you think I can visit them? I really miss my brothers." Rhea asked quietly. Unsure if he could hear her because of how silent her voice was.

"Yes, Rhea. We can visit them soon. How about in a couple days? After we get the deity council stuff situated?"

"Really we can? Are you going to let me ride you there?" Rhea grinned and felt his gentle vibrations under her.

"Yes, baby. This opens up a lot for us not having to hide anymore." Lee smiled inwardly. He would grant her as many wishes as possible. There might be demons after her, but he could get her to safety quick enough. He could protect her better this way too. Though, he was hoping to bring Titus with them as well. Because of his connection with Rhea, it would be safer to keep the two of them together.

She absentmindedly rubbed her hands on the scales below her. In very gentle delicate motions. She watched as they came lower to the ground. Instead of landing on the ground though he flew into the large opening at the top of the castle. Rhea slid off of him and he shifted back into his human self. He turned and looked at her with dark eyes.

"What we didn't take into account, my dear, sweet mate. Is how you straddle over me in a dress would mean that you would only have your lacey thong as a barrier between us." He grabbed onto her wrist and tugged her to follow as he slowly walked backwards. "And after you marking me earlier, I am afraid I can't wait any longer." His voice became raspy as he pulled her into his arms, shutting their bedroom door. "I need you now Rhea."

"Well then, what are you waiting for." Rhea twisted his hair into her fingers playing with the nape of his neck.

A low growl rippled through him as he lifted her to the bed. He quickly discarded their clothes and pulled her flush against his body. Pulling them backwards as they toppled onto the bed together.

The heat was intense. The kisses were hotter and not just in a s****l sense. There was an intense heat radiating from his body. Power was surging out of him in the form of heat. One that both burned and made her crave more. His kisses melted her skin. He smashed into her lips and bit onto her bottom lip demanding more. As she gasped into his mouth his tongue plunged inside of her continuing to make heated demands. He was scorching her mouth with his heat. The pain and pleasure were putting her in a euphoric state. His hand traveled to her side and gently cupped her breast causing her to moan into his mouth. This was the most sensational experience they have had in this area. Every touch was like energy was pumping into her. Her whole body was tingling with desire. His scorching kisses were not enough. She rocked her body into him showing him what she needed. Hell, her body was screaming what it needed.

Lee shifted himself on top of her as he continued to sear her with his lips. He thrust into her urgently. Her soft moans were muffled in his mouth as he kept kissing her through their passionate dance.

Everything was volcanic. Even him inside of her was fiery pleasure. His lips left hers and swiftly latched onto the mark on her neck. The moment she felt the extra surge of heat and pleasure she reached her peak. She softly gasped as she felt him ride out his high with hers. Everything felt blurry and dizzy for a moment. Their soft pants were the only sounds heard as they tried to catch their breaths.

He leaned forward and kissed her forehead before he slid out of her to lean on his side. He pulled her body into his and they stayed there in each other's embrace. She wondered if the moment was as intense for him as it was for her? They felt more connected. The energy between them was stronger. The mate bond was so forcefully strong.

"Rhea." Lee's gentle tone called out.

"Mmm?" She answered lazily.

"Either you making me your prince, you marking me, or maybe both, but one of those things really changed things between us. And in a dangerously better way." Lee chuckled into her hair as he thought about their extreme intimacy.

"That was more intense for you too? In a good way though." Rhea peaked up at him through her eyelids.

"Definitely in a good way." Lee gave her a lazy smile and leaned his head into hers. "I love you my sweet fairy."

Rhea closed her eyes and smiled. "I love you, Lee." She snuggled deeper into his chest. Letting the euphoric exhaustion sweep over her body. She fell into a deep sleep. Sleeping in the arms of her mate. She was wrapped in a cocoon of his body heat. She had never felt so safe. And so incredibly loved.
