Chapter 53

"Cedric is going to be okay. He has been moved back here and is resting in his room. Now, how are you all healed up?" Tyler reached his hand out and gently tilted her chin up to his gaze so he could look into her eyes.

"It is one of my powers. My mother came to me in my subconscious and told me how to discover it. She also said that I need to go to Elysium soon. We will have to prepare for the journey and be ready for potential attacks, but I have to go." Lilly looked at Tyler who was frowning at this news.

"I don't want you traveling outside of the pack with that demon after you. We don't even know what he wants." Tyler looked at the change in her eyes. "You do know what he wants?"

"Me... More specifically he wants my firstborn child to be his." Lilly heard the loud throaty growl Tyler made as he scowled hearing this. "Abaddon wants to gain entry to the fairy kingdom and wants to acquire the power through a blood tie to the kingdom." "Him and Jessica are dead. I can't believe she was there too. Her brother Cody would have been so disappointed in her. How can we travel to Elysium knowing this? It is too risky." Tyler leaned in and kissed her forehead tenderly. He knew he was going to have to take her there, but he still had to voice his objections over the idea. It was dangerous. He couldn't lose her, and he almost did. They were trying to weaken her enough so that they could take her and they succeeded. If he had not arrived when he did she could be in the that demon's clutches right now.

"I have some ideas about traveling. We will need to talk with Tristan to see how long the trip will take us and how we can get there. We have to go. There is something important. Either something I have to know or do, but it is important. She said we didn't have to leave right away, so we do have time to prepare. Besides, I don't think Abaddon will attack again anytime soon. He will need a plan. He might not have been bothered by the flames, but the others were. With you and Tristan around he won't have his way easily." Lilly leaned up and kissed Tyler's jawline.

Tyler sighed and tilted his head so that it was resting on her forehead. "We will work it out Lills, if it is important then we will make it happen. Now, since you seem fine, how about you get a quick shower and see your brother off. He is still here worried about you." Lilly flashed him a wide grin and kissed his cheek. "Give me five minutes and I will be down. I want to check on Cedric too."

Tyler watched as she quickly skidded off to the shower before he left the room. He would talk with Tristan and get an idea of how far and long this trip would be. He was going to have to make pack arrangements too while he was away. At least he had some time to get everything sorted out.

Lilly ran down the stairs after the shower and smiled as she saw her brother sitting at the table with Mattie, Tyler and Tristan... oh Cadence was there too.

"Lilly!" Aaron stood up and scooped her into his arms. "I'm so glad that you are alright. I can't believe you left like that! I trusted you. It's me. You could have told me and I would have been right there with you. Don't you ever pull a stunt like that again." "Okay daaaaad." Lilly sighed with a giggle as she took the lecture her brother was giving her. "Thank you for staying and checking on me, but it is getting late and I am fine. Go ahead and go back home... you still have the trip ahead of you." She appreciated him staying and checking on her. She knew that he was worried, but she also knew that he was busy since he just took over as the Alpha.

Aaron looked at her. He felt conflicted. He didn't want to leave his baby sister. She was just attacked by a demon. It wasn't like he could take her back either. Not to mention, the Diamond back was the stronger pack. She would be safer with them and he knew it, he just wished he could be there to protect her too. "I'll let dad know what happened and tell him to get in contact with you. I love you Lillibug... take care of yourself and don't hesitate to let me know if you need anything from me."

Lilly smiled and nodded. It was weird watching her brother leave. She knew she would see him again, but not sure when. They were both caught up in their own lives now, with their own respective packs. Plus, she was also the fairy princess. She knew he loved her and she loved him and that both of them would always be there for the other. She gave him and Mattie a hug goodbye (of course Tyler was mentally objecting to the hug to Mattie).

"Sorry about what happened with Jessica, but now you can find an even better mate. Trust me, she was no prize." Lilly scrunched up her nose in disgust thinking of Jessica.

Mattie played with her head gently. "Don't apologize, Lills. I am just happy that I am back to normal again. I feel like me again... Promise me that you will take care of yourself and if there is anything... I can ever do please let me know." His eyes lingered on her for a moment with a longing stare before he finally walked away from her. It was good that he walked away when he did because Jax was going out of control with his possessiveness and making Tyler fight for his self-control.

Lilly gave Cadence a simple smile with a nod and then watched the two cars drive away. She smiled as she felt Tyler's back against her. "You did good Tyler holding in your wolf. We will keep working on your training, there is hope for you yet." She teased as she felt his arms wrap around her.

"You think you can train me? I'm a wild Alpha wolf babe. I'm a feral animal when it comes to you." He grinned as they walked back into the house.

Kade and Tristan were standing in the kitchen as the two walked up to them.

"Cedric is resting now. I stayed with him until he fell asleep. Avery is sitting with him now. He is doing good. In a couple days he will be as good as new." Kade wanted to update Lilly so that she wasn't worrying about him.

"Aww I wanted to see him. I guess I can wait until he wakes up. I need to yell at him. He was almost killed because he charged into that mess-"

"He saved you Lilly. If he hadn't shown up, you might have been captured before I could get to you. I told you to wait here." Tyler couldn't help the pain in his chest when he remembered how she looked and the wounds over her body. She couldn't have fought much longer.

Lilly could feel his agitation and before she would have thought that he was being a jerk. Because of their mating bond though she knew that it was just his worry coming through. She could feel the pain and his fear of losing her radiating inside of her. "I'm sorry. There was a child involved. I couldn't let her die. I hope she's okay." Lilly's thoughts went back to the child who had been injured by Abaddon.

"Yes, the child is fine. Her wounds weren't too deep, and she is safely back with her family." Kade was a bit bothered by something with the child though. "Luckily in this case her wolf hasn't awakened. Her wound was laced with wolfsbane. How did that happen?" "It is probably one of the demon's abilities. That means in the future you need to let me face him. Wolfsbane doesn't affect me. If he lands a blow on any of you in a vulnerable area you'd be in real danger." Tristan was looking at Tyler as he spoke because he knew he would be wanting to hunt down the demon wolf.

"Well he won't hurt Lilly since he wants her to have his pups so he can take over the fairy kingdom." Tyler snorted as his anger rose mentioning the demons plans with his mate.

Tristan's eyes narrowed and then he looked back at Lilly. "When he couldn't get to your mom, he decided to try next with you... You know he wouldn't be interested in you if you were pregnant." Tristan smirked and eyed the two in front of him. Tyler seemed on board with this idea too.

"No he wouldn't need me, but then he would want my daughter to fulfill the purpose. I don't know how long his lifespan is, but it needs cut short. We need to find him and kill him." Lilly was angry thinking that he would go after her daughter if he doesn't get what he wanted from her. "I don't want my descendants to always have to watch behind their backs. I am strong and have strong allies. If there is a time to kill him it is now."

"I'm all for killing him." Tyler smirked and he shrugged looking at Tristan and Kade.

"So, we will kill him after we go to visit my mother... or on the way if the opportunity presents itself." Lilly smiled and then turned her attention to Tristan. "So, how do we get to Elysium and how long will it take?" Lilly looked at Tristan as all eyes rested on him.
