Chapter 60

Lilly and Avery sat there pouting outside of the bumper cars exit. The guys all ganged up on them and got their cars stuck in the side railings. It was utterly unfair and dirty.

"It makes sense. You have to take out the biggest threat first. They were afraid of us Avery." Lilly felt a bit salty, especially seeing the guy's smug faces. For some reason, Tyler had Cedric put the mate block back up, so she was guessing there were more surprises up his sleeve. So she didn't know exactly what he was thinking, but from his face it looked cheeky. Lilly looked over at Avery who had the devil in her eye. Then her lips curled up and there was a mischievous twinkle in them. "Come on Lilly. Let's hit the water slides next. It's pretty warm out and I wouldn't mind getting cooled off." Avery's eyes flashed at Lilly's as she helped her to her feet. "Come on let's head to the locker rooms so we can change into our swimsuits."

Lilly read her loud and clear. She turned and stuck her tongue out at the guys and walked with Avery to the locker rooms. The guys chuckled at the poor sports and then walked to their side of the men's locker rooms.

The men were waiting on the water side of the locker rooms. Cedric, Tristan, Tyler and Caleb had all changed into their swim trunks and were joking around beating up on the girls. Lilly and Avery came out of their locker rooms wearing matching black bikini's. The girls were laughing together and were no longer in a sour mood after the cheap male victory.

Tyler's eyes were looking over Lilly with an animalistic greed as she walked closer. He reached his arm out to scoop her into his side.

"No touchy." Lilly snuffed out and curled her lips up at him. If the boys wanted to play dirty, then she could at least reek revenge on Tyler and Avery could on Caleb.

"Are you punishing me?" Tyler asked in amusement. It seems his sweet princess was a bit vindictive.

Lilly shrugged. "Nope, not at all. Just keep your hands to yourself please." Oh yeah, she was punishing him.

Caleb received the same treatment from Avery. "Hey that's not fair. What are you going to do to Cedric and Tristan they are just as guilty..."

"Yeah. I wonder what we will do to them..." Lilly smirked at the two other guys. She and Avery then hooked arms and walked towards the nearest water slide.

"I suddenly don't feel very good." Tristan let out a dry chuckle as he nervously wondered what they had in store. "Go beg for mercy and get us off the hook." Tristan demanded to Tyler.

"No way, I want to see her play her little game." Tyler's eyes flickered as he followed after Lilly. His girl was always full of surprises. He wanted to see how long she planned to play her own game... at least until he went crazy and couldn't take it anymore.

The girls were basically ignoring the guys existence. They went down slide after slide and were now lounging on rafts in the lazy river. They had on sunglasses and were each sipping drinks as they flicked their toes in the water. How long could they go with being ignored before they popped a blood vessel? This was the thesis they were now exploring.

The men opted out of the lazy river. They were seemingly pouting as they watched the girls float along. Tristan and Cedric were also pouting from being ignored.

"Well I'm not to proud to wave the white flag." Cedric furrowed his eyes as the other men gave him challenging glares.

"No way. We can't submit first. If Tyler and Caleb are managing, then we can too." Tristan encouraged Cedric to keep holding strong. After all, their mates were enduring the harsher punishments.

Tyler and Cedric were barely managing to endure though,especially now. There were several male eyes that they were catching looking at their girls. Their possessive wolves were tugging at their lines and snarling to claim their mates. The men were clashing between their stubborn side and their possessive, jealous wolves.

"Hi there." The men turned around to see a few young ladies standing behind them. "We noticed you guys standing there and thought maybe you'd like to join us? We are going to play pool volleyball and need some more players."

Avery tilted her sunglasses down and looked towards the boys in the distance. "It looks like our boy's have been discovered." She tilted her sunglasses up and leaned back. Unbothered by the female attention towards her mate. She knew she had nothing to worry about.

"Well they are a good-looking bunch... even if they can be buttheads." Lilly giggled. Neither girl was worried, nor felt threatened by it. As long as the other girls kept their hands to themselves, they would be granted clemency to continue to live. They were almost towards their end of the lazy river and their skin was toasted warm in the sun. Lilly reached her hand in and splashed the cold water onto Avery who squealed when it hit her.

"Ahh, Oh it is on!" Avery hopped off her raft and the two girls engaged in a water battle.

Tyler smirked. He already knew that was a bad idea. He had made enough mistakes to see this one in bold. He was supposed to just sit there and take his punishment. "No thanks. I'm waiting for my baby to get done with the lazy river." He looked away completely dismissing them. He wasn't about to get himself in more trouble. He didn't want to ruin the rest of the evening and he could care less playing games without his girl.

"Oh... what about you guys?" The girl looked between the other men.

"My girl is over there too, but thanks all the same." Caleb said politely while Tristan and Cedric just shook their heads no.

"Oh... okay." The girl turned away a bit dejected and her group walked to look for other potential players.

"AHHHH"

The sounds of the girl's shriek and screams made the men jump in panic. They turned to see Avery and Lilly having a blast splashing themselves with water. "Eat my tsunami Avery!" Lilly giggled as she shoved a massive wave of water towards Avery.

"Tidal WAVE!" Avery hurled a massive water strike successfully drenching Lilly.

"CANON BALL!"

The four men jumped into the water in various areas around the girls. Lilly squealed as she felt a pair of hands snake around her legs, hoisting her up from the water.

"Back to the cave, men. We got the women!" Tyler ordered as he launched Lilly over his shoulder while Caleb followed suit. The men were being obnoxious and grunting like cavemen, thoroughly embarrassing both girls.

Lilly giggled and kicked her feet as she was carried out of the water. Tyler lowered her down in front of him and wrapped his arms around her back. "You win." His lips brushed her forehead and then traveled down to seize her lips. He pressed on her back, pulling her into him. Heating their bodies with the other. He gently pecked her lips one more time before lifting up from her. "No more getting pinned against you. I am on your team for the rest of the day."

Lilly nodded and smiled sweetly on the childish man in front of her. She was crazy about him. Though, she could go for not getting embarrassed again. "I'm ready to get changed into something dry and could go for a warm funnel cake." "Funnel cake? Yup, I'm down." Tristan perked up happily.

Lilly squeezed in as much fun as possible in the short day. They rode everything and made lots of memories. Avery and Caleb left to take Kade and Rosa back to her house to collect her bags and then would head back to the pack house. He wouldn't be parted with her even for a night and she seemed to feel the same way. Cedric and Tristan went to compete in a few more arcade games before they headed back home for the night.

Lilly and Tyler were sitting on a bench looking up at the night sky that was being peppered with stars. He had his arm around her, and she was leaning her head into his side. They were both completely content and blissfully happy. Fireworks soon began to launch into the night air creating a kaleidoscope of colors in the dark.

"This isn't very traditional for werewolves. And you aren't just a werewolf either. I wanted you to know just how amazing you are and how special you are to me. I couldn't think of any way to make up for our rocky start except to make sure that you always know your place in my heart from here on out. Luckily, our mating link helps with that." Tyler smiled and turned and looked over to her, meeting her emerald gaze with his eyes. "Spending eternity with you is a given. It is the biggest blessing that I couldn't even imagine getting. I'm so lucky... so grateful that I have you in my life. You're beautiful, strong, loving and have compassion for others. Your forgiving nature is humbling. I can't imagine a life with out you. You are my mate, my Luna, my fairy princess and I am hoping you will also be my wife?" Tyler opened his hand holding a diamond ring that sparkled under the fireworks.

Lilly was shocked. She was not expecting a proposal. That was why he had the mate link turned off. Her eyes twinkled in the light as she nodded her head. Glistening streaks trickled down her cheeks as he slipped the ring on her finger.

"I love you Lilly." Tyler was looking at the most beautiful girl in the world, both inside and out. Whatever he could do to make her happy, he would do it. His life was hers for the taking and hers to command.

"I love you too Tyler. You have given me a family and a life where I belong. I will forever be grateful to you for that."

"After we come back from Elysium, let's get married." Tyler watched her nod as he tilted her chin up to him. He slowly closed the gap and let his lips capture hers, pouring in his kiss, his love for her, his passion for her, his need for her.

That evening when they returned home, he took her straight to their room and worshipped her body, pleasing her, passionately making love to her, blissfully exhausting their bodies in euphoric pleasure. He made sure she had no doubt about his feelings for her.
