Myles POV

I woke up too Lily’s naked body draped over me, her back exposed and just a thin sheet covering her lower back and butt.

I really didn’t want to get out of this bed, but I really need to pee.

I tried to sneak out, but Lily gripped onto me.

“Don’t you dare move Myles Cooper,”

“Lily, baby, as much as I don’t want to move your naked body off of me, I really have to pee.”

“Fine,” She grumbled

“You better come back to bed.”

Yikes, she is not a morning person.

She set me free, grabbing my pillow as a replacement, and sighed.

After I did my business, I went to check on Lily. She was sprawled out across the the whole bed and lightly snoring.

I giggled and decided to just let her sleep and jump in the shower.

Images of last night kept replaying in my head and the taste of her, man she seriously was the best thing I’ve ever tasted.

I turned the water to cold, trying to cool myself off.

The shower door suddenly opened abruptly with a very pissed of looking Lily. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her look like that.

Her eyebrows scrunched together, “Hey Mr, didn’t I say come back to bed.”

“Lily, you do realize I’m naked, right?”

“So, I’ve already seen you naked in the woods, and it’s not like you haven’t been staring at my naked body all night.”

She closed the door and came into the shower with me. She squealed when her body hit the cold water.

I laughed. “Okay, good point, I had a feeling you took a peek or two.”

“Myles, why the hell is the water so cold? Turn it up, please.”

I literally couldn’t stop laughing. The look on her face was pricless, she really wasn’t expecting it to be cold.

She was hurled up in the corner.

“Fine, I can just step out and get dressed for the day.”

“No, no baby, I’m sorry, I’ll turn it up, just come here and hug me.”

Man, the things this woman was doing to me.

I turned her back to me and got her hair wet, I lathered her hair up with soap and massaged her head with my fingers , she m****d and leaned into me.

I’ve never washed anyone’s hair but my own, but she seemed to like it.

She conditoned her own hair and shaved her legs, literally didn’t care that I stood in the shower and watched her.

Who was this girl? Six months ago, I would never be able to picture Lily ever being comfortable enough to be naked in a shower with someone , let alone shave her legs.

We stepped out together, and she wrapped a towel around her body.

She heard a knock at the door to her bedroom.

Amber was impatient and started to yell, “Lily, I need your help. Don’t make me barge in. You know how much I love to do that.

“Wait, Lily dont.”

But it was too late, she opened the door without thinking.

Amber and Brody stood in the doorway, looking at Lily in a towel and then over at me in a towel wrapped around my waist.

Amber in her big fat mouth.

“Ohh, so what’s going on in here?”

She wiggled her eyesbrows at Lily

Conner came up behind them, not realizing what was going on.

“Hot damn Lily”

I threw a pillow and hit him in the head.

“What? I’m sorry I can’t help it when she opens the door like that.”

He tossed the pillow back at me, and I tossed another.

Lily dunked, giving them a clear view of her cleavage .

It hit Conner straight it in the head he didn’t even try to move his eyes bulging from his head.

Brody tried to look away, acting like he didn’t see anything, and Amber just looked amused with the situation. More preoccupied with what was going on with me and Lily.

I didn’t even hear my mother and father come up the stairs.

“Oh, gosh. Sylvia, we should just head back down.”

“What, Kevin, stop. I just wanted to know what was going on?”

Then she saw us, I’ve never seen that women smile so big.

Lily, however, was bright red.

“Oh, this is just wonderful. Are you guys chosen mates, oh my gosh, am I going to have grandbabies soon?

Amber opened her mouth again, I swear she doesn’t have a filter.

“Yeah, mom, good chance they will be twins to, because me and Myles are.”

She gave me an evil grin like this was payback for something.

My mom started to ramble

“Oh my goddess, yes twin grandbabies, oh I can’t wait, so how many kids you think you’ll be having? I’ll have to set up a room.”

“Mom, please stop, I love you, but look at Lily’s face.”

Amber was bent over laughing.

“Hey, mom, Amber and Brody are fated mates.”

Brody and Amber glared at me, but hey, it preoccupied my mom enough that we could close the door on them.

I stuck my tongue out at Amber, and she flipped me off before I closed the door all the way.

Lily was quiet, not saying a word.

“Baby, you okay?”

“You’re not regretting anything, are you, I know my mom can be a bit much.”

“No, not at all, actually.”

“I mean, yeah, she shocked me by bringing it up, I mean, we didn’t even have s*x yet.”

“But it actually excited me thinking about the future and little yous running around, i could see it.”

“I mean not right now, but down the road.”

“I love you, and I could see all of that too, whenever you want.”

My mom knocked on the door. ” If you guys are busy making me grand pups, I can leave food at the door.”

I heard my dad yell, “Sylvia Cooper, leave them alone there not even marked yet, what if they don’t choose eachother.”

“Oh shut it, Keevvin.”

She stretched out his name.

Me and Lily giggled at their bickering.

“Its not like many wolves find there fated mates anymore, most take chosen, you know how it was when we were young and it’s even worse now and i just adore Lily and they so love eachother.”

“Sylvia, please leave them alone . Let’s go downstairs and talk to Amber about why she was hiding Brody from us.

Yes, off the hook.

“Sorry, I know my mom can be overbearing, but no regrets about last night, right? “

Lily’s POV

What Sylivia said got to me a bit, pups and marking. I mean, we haven’t even had s*x yet or even discussed if we even wanted to mark each other.

It was way too soon. I know we’ve known each other since we were six, but me and Myles have only been a couple for two months.

I mean, it didn’t scare me by any means. Just made me think of what my mom would tell me about mates.

Most were mated as soon as they came of age, between finding your fated mate or taken a chosen, they really didn’t wait years in hopes of finding their fated ones. It would have been just luck if you did.

I could definitely see where Amber got her personality from, so much like her mother.

I could tell Myles was nervous, I think he thought I was going to think all of this was too much and bolt.

I’m not going to lie it came across my mind for a second but only a second.

Things just work so fast in the werewolf world. It’s not uncommon to be marked and mated after only knowing someone two months or even less.

I guess I just question everything now, I know what Ben did wasn’t the worst thing in the world, I just thought after two years I deserved more than to be ignored.

I didn’t even hear my mother and father come up the stairs.

I know I’m being ridiculously dramatic, but hey, I feel like the first love always is. That’s how it seemed like in books.

I just had to figure out how to let this go. I love Myles, and I know he would never do that.

But I couldn’t help but wonder how he would feel if he found his fated mate before we marked each other, and I had to ask.

“Myles, I’m sorry, but I have to ask, what if you find your fated mate?… What happens then?”

He scrunched his nose, and then his face softened, and walked towards me . He put my face into his hands, and I still chose you. It will always be you.”

I sighed in relief.

“But what about you Lily, would you choose me?

I stayed quiet for a moment, and we sat at the edge of the bed, I took his hands into mine.

“I choose you, I can’t imagine anyone treating and loving me any better than you have.”

” I can be myself, and you brought a side out of me I didn’t know I had. In a good way, i mean, i dont really shy away anymore.”

“So yes, hundred percent yes, I choose you.”

He was quiet, “But what if you find out your Ben’s fated mate when he gets home?”

I could see the worry and sadness wash over his face.

“I still choose you.”

“Myles, Ben didn’t want me, I’m not stupid I know he must of met someone else and instead of being a decent boyfriend, no a decent man and end things the right way, he chose to ghost me.”

“It took me sometime but I realized that wasn’t love, because if he loved me he would of respected me enough to do it the right way and i would never want to be with a man that doesnt want me.”

“So no Myles, I wouldn’t choose him, I will never choose him again.”

He smiled, but i could still tell something else was up.

“Lily, do you think Ben cheated on you? or what if he changes his mind and decides he does want you?”

I looked at him, stunned, trying to figure out why he was asking me this.

But I thought on it for a minute, i wonder if that’s why he stopped talking to me and wasn’t manly enough to own up to it, but is that even cheating if he just stopped talking to me?

“Honestly, it’s possible, i mean like i said i figured he met someone else and he technically never broke up with me offically, im just not sure if thats considering cheating though, unless he did it before he left for school, but i would of heard about that.”

“I’m not sure if I ever really even knew him, so i really dont know how to answer that fully.”

I looked into Myles eyes.

“If he does decide he wants me again, it won’t matter. He had his chance, four years of a chance actually, and he walked away, and that’s on him, not me.”

“Why, are you asking me this?”

“Just trying to figure out what happened, I guess.”

He was really quiet, almost guilty looking.

“I understand that, but it doesn’t really matter anymore, Myles. i mean, it’s been two years im really trying to let all of that go.”

“That true, sorry for asking.”

“Just promise me if you ever not want to be with me that you will tell me.”

He pulled me into a tight hug.

“I promise, but I couldn’t ever picture where I’m not wanting you, Lily.”

I couldn’t help but feel Myles knew something that I didn’t. I mean, why else would he bring up cheating.

Just doesn’t make any sense. Or maybe he really was just curious and trying to put pieces together.

We hugged for a while before getting dressed for the day.

But I couldn’t help that nagging feeling that I was missing something.
