Lily’s POV

We haven’t found out anything more than what we already knew from research, and there is no indication of what kind of power I will have, if any.

Gamma Kevin hasn’t heard anything about my mom yet, and it’s been taking everything I have not to go looking for her.

But even if I did, I wouldn’t even know where to start. He told me to give him a few more weeks to keep trying. I agreed, not that I have much of a choice.

I haven’t told Myles what I heard in the library. Every time I thought about bringing it up, I would just shrug it off like it’s nothing.

I, however, have noticed how much Lexi stares at me. Every time we go down to have a meal, her eyes are glued to me and Myles.

Maybe they have been this whole time, and im just now noticing. Amber and Conner saw where my eyes were looking towards. They both looked at each other like they knew.

Myles and Brody went to get everyone some pie for dessert. When there was a safe distance between us and them, Conner put his arm around me, and Amber scooted down to the chair next to me.

Amber had a sad sympathic look on her face. “You know about Lexi and Myles, don’t you?”

“Yeah, I overheard Lexi talking to him in the library a few days ago. I hate all these secrets. He never told me he was with someone that long.”

Conner shook his head. “Lily, it was just s*x. I know it’s a cliche thing to say. But he always made it very clear to her that it was all it was.”

I wanted to puke. I hate picturing them together.

“I heard him say that. But it was eight months. He told me he loved me after only dating me for two. How could he expect her not to have feelings for him or him or have feelings for her.”

Conner giggled like he actually giggled. “Me and Brody both think he was just buying time till he knew you were ready. He didn’t use her, but he knew he was never going to love her because he had always been in love with you.”

He gave me a million dollar smile. “Besides, it is hard to fall in love with someone when your heart already belongs to someone else.”

I lay my head on his shoulder. Conners really became a close friend. “When did you become so sappy.”

“Well, don’t tell the guys, but basically since vacation when I saw how easy and in love you and Myles are. I want that. Least if im lucky enough to have that.”

Amber got up and wrapped her arms around Conners neck, hugging him from behind. “You big softy, you’ll find that, I promise.”

We heard two very loud growls. When we looked up, Myles and Brody were clenching on the plates with pie. One of the plates cracked and fell to the floor.

Amber rolled her eyes. “Really dummies, you honestly think me and Lily are both trying to hook up with Conner at the same time? We were comforting him.”

Brodys growled lightly this time. “Wouldn’t put it past him to try.”

This time, I rolled my eyes. “Will both of you stop it, we were just talking about relationships and how Conner wants what we have someday. “

Conner put his hand on his face. “You’re ruining my street cred here, Lil.”

Myles laughed. “What street cred, you moron?”

We all broke out into laughter. Myles picked me up and placed me into his lap, and he trailed his nose along my neck, inhaling my scent.

“Seriously protective much? It’s just Conner.”

Conner stuck out his tongue at Myles. “Yeah, it’s just Conner.”

Myles slapped the side of his head.

“Ouch, damn it. You gotta quit doing that.”

“Then quit saying stupid shit.”

“What’s the fun in that.”

Me and Amber both giggled, and the guys rolled their eyes at him.

I looked over, and Lexi was looking at us again. My stomach turned. I got up quickly, running to the trash can just outside the dining hall. I couldn’t hold my puke back any longer.

I felt a strong pair of hands rub my back and then pull my hair back so I could finish puking.

“You okay, baby?”

“Yeah, I’m not sure what came over me.”

“Amber told me you know about Lexi. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I’m guessing seeing her staring at us caused this. I feel her looking all the time, too.”

“I honestly felt like I wanted to puke whenever I would picture you with Ben. I get it.”

I nodded. I’m still feeling super nauseous.

“Let’s just get you upstairs and cleaned up.

Lexi POV

Lily’s been looking over at me a lot more, or maybe she’s looking at Brooke. Im not exactly sure. She’s never looked at us like this before. Usually, she never gave us the time of day. Somehow thinking she was better than us.

I saw Myles and Brody get up and walk to the buffet. I couldn’t help myself but to stare at Myles, his tan distinctive muscles in his tight white t-shirt. You could almost see the outlines of his ab muscles.

He really looked good. I would do anything to have him again. But he doesn’t even notice or look at me. Literally only has eyes for Lily.

I looked over and saw Lily laying her head on Conners’ shoulders. He was smiling at her. How does this omega do it. She has men just falling at her feet. I wonder if she’s sleeping with him too.

My heart still hurts when I heard that they haven’t left Myles’ room for days. Everyone knew what they were doing. Even with somewhat soundproofed walls.

Amber walked up behind Conner and hugged him from behind, with Lily still laying on his shoulder and arms wrapped around im.

I saw Brody and Myles walk over, and the both of them growled loudly enough to get everyone’s attention. I hated how jealous and protective he got over her.

I couldn’t help but wonder if maybe they were fated mates. He wasn’t mine like I had hoped.

He scooped her up and placed her on his lap, and dug his nose to the crook of her neck. Wow, he really does love her. He never acted like that with me even when we were alone, and he publicly showed her so much affection.

Life is so unfair. I felt an arm placed over my shoulders. I looked over and saw Brooke frown at me. “I thought you were over him?”

“I am. I’m just confused about what the guys see in Lily.”

“Oh, you’re not the only one.”

Lily got up abruptly and took off running to the trashcan right outside the dining hall. Myles chased after her.

I saw him rub her back and hold her hair for her. I wonder what’s got her so sick.

Brooke snickered. “Good maybe that b***h got food poisoning. Works out for us with Ben coming home tomorrow.”

We’re werewolves that’s really not common. But maybe because she’s a weak omega she wasn’t immune to it like most of us.

My wolf chimed in. “Maybe she’s pregnant.”

No way, that’s even more unheard of to fallen pregnant when your not marked or with your fated mate.

I pray to the moon goddess that it couldn’t be true. Any chance of me getting Myles back would be gone.

Myles POV

I got Lily back to our room and she didn’t look much better. I was started to get worried when she threw up again.

I dabbed her forehead with a cool washcloth. It wasn’t helping much.

I finally minlinked my mom with out telling Lily and she told me she would be right over.

Few mintues later my mom knocked on our door and I let Lily know I would be right back.

My my barged in before I even got the door and she went straight to bathroom with a bag.

“Go downstairs and get Lily some juice. I got it from here.”

She slammed the door in my face. Okay I guess I’m going to get juice.

I was getting alittle worried with the fact that my mom basically kicked me out. Maybe it’s a girl thing.

Sylvia POV

When Myles said Lily had been sick i thought it was really odd. I mean yeah omegas got sick here and there but not very often and Lily was no omega. Her wolf should be way stronger than that coming from a royal bloodline.

I heard that Lily and Myles had been intement. But surely there’s no way she could be pregnant. There not marked or fated Mates that we know of.

Luckily I kept a few pregnancy tests in the bathroom closet. Mostly incase someone needed one and wanted discretion.

I got across the hall quickly not waiting for Myles to open the door and went straight to the bathroom basically kicking my son out of his room.

I wanted Lily to have the privacy, and I wanted her to decided how she told him, if she was indeed pregant.

I sat down on the edge of the tub rubbing her back. “Sweetie, do you have any idea what’s going on?”

“I’m so sorry Sylvia did Myles call you over? and no I’ve never been sick my whole life. I just felt so nauseous thinking of Myles and Lexi together.”

“Yeah jealously can be funny thing. But I don’t think that’s why your actually sick.”

“What do you mean?”

“What I’m saying dear is you and Myles have been intement for over a month right?”

She nodded. She seemed embarrassed.

“Okay, and when was your last period?”

Her eyes nearly bulged out of her head.

She shook her head. “No I can’t be. Myles and I haven’t marked eachother and i have no idea if he’s is my fated mate. This is unheard of.”

“Well sweetie it’s about one in a million and your no ordinary wolf.”

I pulled out the box and handed it to her. “Well let’s see if your one in a million then?”

She nodded and i turned around to walk out.

“Please stay, I don’t want to do this alone.”

I turned to face the wall till she was done and placed two sticks on the counter.

“Now what?”

I sat next to her on the edge of the tub and placed her hand in mine. “Now we wait the three mintues and see what the next step is.”

She rubbed her hands down her face. “What is Myles going to think? We’re not even marked. Will he even want a baby yet? We don’t even know if he’ll become gamma here or if we’re going to the palace.”

“Sweetie he loves you more than anything. He will be there for you and the baby no matter what. Trust me he wants this with you, he wants everything with you.”

She smiled slightly. “Thank you for waiting with me. It’s not exactly the best time and I don’t even know where my mom or dad are at or If there even alive. This is just alot.”

“Babies never come at the right time. There always will be something going on. But if you are pregnant this baby is meant to be. The likelihood of you getting pregnant like this is practically unheard of. This is a gift Sweetie.”

I brushed a strand of hair behind her ear and pulled her into a side hug. You got Myles and you got us dear, no matter what.

She took a deep breath and grabbed the sticks off the counter. Both of them reading clear as day, “pregnant”. I couldn’t help the smile that went across my face.

Hers faulted. “Please don’t tell Myles till I’m ready. I know your his mom but I just need to process all of this.”

“I can do that. Thank you for trusting me enough to be in here with you.”

“Your going to feel sick for a few weeks but it will pass. You really need to make an appointment with the pack doctor soon and get an ultrasound so we know how far along you are. “

She nodded. “I’ll call soon as I can wrap this around my head.”

“If you have any questions or need help with anything you find me okay? I know I’m not your mom but I’ll be there anyway you need me.”

“Thank you that means alot.”

Lily’s POV

Sylvia left me in the bathroom, and I couldn’t help the nauseous feeling that was coming back.

I held the two sticks in my hands that read “pregnant.” I was still having a hard time believing it.”

I heard a knock on the bathroom door and the door knob turning slowly. I tossed the pregnancy tests in a drawer real quick so he wouldn’t see.

He came in with a glass of orange juice. “Here baby, mom said juice would help.”

I couldn’t help but smile. He looked so concerned for me. You could see the stress all over his face.

“Thank you, I’m going to take a quick bath and try to relax. I’m so sorry you had to see me like that.”

“Hey, it happens. I’ll always take care of you. Even if that means I have to hold your hair.”

“Now princess, how about I help you get the bath going?”

I scrunched my nose at him. “I’m not sure if I’m ready to be called princess yet.”

He started putting lavender bath soap and salts in. “You’re still my princess.”

I couldn’t help but smile. “Okay, but only you get to call me that.”

I brushed my teeth quickly as the tub filled and stripped out of my clothes.

Myles looked at me with l**t like he hadn’t just watched me puke my guts out.

I grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it up over his head. “Just join me, I know you’re going to sit in here anyway. I know you’re worried about me.”

“Yeah, you caught me, I can’t help it. I don’t like seeing you’re this.”

I pecked his lips. “I know you dont.”

He finished undressing himself and sat down in the tub, pulling me to his chest. He pulled my hair that lay on my chest to behind, so it layed on my back and exposing my neck to him.

He slowly traced where my mark would go with his fingers, sending goosbumps throughout my whole body. I felt light prickles of sparks, making me crave more of his touch.

“I love how much you respond to my every touch.” He kissed my marking spot.

I was debating on telling him now but decided to wait until I got an ultrasound confirming I was pregnant.

I layed on his chest what seemed like forever. My fingertips were starting to prune and realized we had indeed been in the tub awhile.

Myles never once rushed me to get out just held me till I was ready.

We dried off and went off to get us some clothes. I linked his mom quickly, trying to rush before he came back in.

“Can you set up an ultrasound tomorrow for me?”

“Sure dear, I’ll try to get set up in the morning.”

I waited a moment. ” Doctor Mel said she could do nine am. Does that work?”

“Yes, I can make that work. Please go with me? I haven’t said anything to Myles yet.”

There was silence. “Sure, anything you want. But you really need to tell him soon. I know he wouldn’t want to miss any of this.”

“I know, I guess I just want to confirm I’m actually pregnant before I tell him.”

“I understand, I’ll pick you up at your room at eight thirty, and we can walk down together.”

“Sounds great, thank you so much.”

“Anything for you.”

I hadn’t noticed Myles standing in the doorway.

“Who were you linking?”

“Oh, just your mom. I was thanking her for her help. She’s going to come by in the morning to come get me to hang for a bit before we have to get ready for the party.”

He pouted. “So I’m going to get even less time with you?”

“You know me, Amber, and your mom are going to your moms room to get ready for tomorrow night without any of the guys, right?”

“Wait, what?”

He slipped one of his shirts over my naked body.

“Yes, I want to suprise you.”

“I guess I can’t argue with that. I can’t wait to see you already.”

He kissed me hungrily. But I couldn’t help the nauseous feeling that came over me again, and I ran to the toliet.

He patted my back.”Does my mom know what’s wrong with you?”

I took a sip of the juice. “Yes, I promise to explain it tomorrow. “

He looked confused but kissed my forehead. “Okay, how about we get you in bed and get you rested up and feeling better.”

I nodded. Knowing it probably wasn’t going to stop the nauseous feelings from going away.
