First Love Of The Alpha
Chapter 28

Myles POV

Amber went to the ranked members library, and I went to the pack house one. Trying to find anything we could about Lily’s wolf and the royals and what we should expect.

I knew we were being watched. I just wasn’t expecting Lexi to be part of the stalking crew.

She sat down on the chair across from me. “What Lexi? Brooke sent you to do her dirty work for her?”

“No, I just wanted to talk. I’m just confused about how you got so serious with Lily? You never gave us a chance, and we were sleeping together for eight months. I’m at least a warriors daughter. That used to mean something over just an omega. But somehow, she’s got you and Ben all wrapped around her finger.”

I made sure to keep my voice barely above a whisper. I hate that I keep being compared to Ben.

“Lexi, im not sure why you’re bringing this up now. I’ve always made it very clear that it was nothing more than just a hookup. It was never meant to be anything more. You’ve always made it out to be that you felt the same way.”

“I lied because that’s what you said you wanted, and I just wanted to be with you.”

I rubbed my hand on the side of my neck. I think part of me knew it meant more to her.

“Lexi, that is not my fault. I love Lily. Well, we love each other. She’s it for me.”

She stood up abruptly. Her chair fell behind her, making a loud thump. She spoke louder than I would have liked. It was almost a yell.

“We were eachothers firsts. You can’t treat me this way, Myles. You treat that omega way better than you ever treated me.”

“Lexi, im really trying not to hurt you, but I never loved you. Lily is the only one I’ve ever loved. There’s just something about her.” I couldn’t help but smile slightly just talking about her.

“Funny thing is Ben said the same thing to Brooke when she was trying to get him to break up with Lily.”

She laughed sarcastically. “Ben’s return is going to be very comical.”

“Why is that so funny?”

“An alpha and a gamma fighting over an omega. Everyone is going to think this is a huge joke.”

“Ben is over, Lily. He dumped her years ago, so there won’t be any fighting. She’s with me.”

“That’s not what I hear from a little birdie at Alpha School.”

She raised an eyebrow at me and walked away.

What the hell did she mean by that? Who would she even know at alpha school? Then it dawned on me. She knew Landyn, and they were close before he left.

“s**t,” I mumbled to myself. Was Ben really still in love with Lily? If anyone knew it would be Landyn.

Lily’s POV

I snuck into the pack library, wanting to surprise Myles. We’ve been so busy with research that we haven’t seen each other as much.

I was walking towards his table when I saw Lexi sit down across from him. I quickly hid behind a bookcase. I couldn’t figure out what she could possibly want with Myles. Unless Brooke sent here.

I stayed hidden, thinking it would be a quick conversation when I heard Lexi mention her and Myles being together sexually for eight months. I heard him say he never loved her. But I couldn’t help the uneasy feeling that was rushing all over me.

How could he be intiment with someone that long and not have it mean anything. That was nearly triple the amount of time than we’ve been together.

I tried not to let my mind wonder how many times they’ve actually had s*x. But i couldn’t help myself. I wanted to puke. I felt the anxiety take over my body, and my heart started racing. A loud thump took me back to reality.

I heard Brooke coming towards me, and I dunked down on the end of one of the bookcases till I knew she was gone. I snuck out, not wanting to be caught by Myles.

I hated this. I hate that he’s been with someone else. I couldn’t help the jealousy, but I had no right. I nearly slept with Ben.

I knew i was acting like a crazy girlfriend. I just hope he wouldn’t get sick of me after eight months.

Amber’s POV

I was looking through books in the ranked members library when I heard the doors swing open harshly. I peaked around the corner, and i saw the alpha and the luna.

Hardly anyone came in here, and up until right now, I was completely alone. I walked quietly, putting a few more bookshelves between us. I wanted to hear what they had to say.

Lunas voice was harsh. “Why the hell did you bring me in here.”

“I’m the alpha, I don’t need the luna, my luna disrespecting me in the halls where others can hear.”

“Oh shut it, no one cares. You never did answer my question. “Do you know about Myles and Lily? He practically claimed her in the dining hall for everyone to see.”

“Okay, and?”

” And how do you think Ben is going to feel seeing his gamma and his ex-girlfriend together and possibly marking each other?”

“I doubt he’s going to care he’s got himself an alphas daughter. You know what we’re planning.”

“You are such an i***t. I wasn’t going to say anything, but with Lily’s mom missing, im going too. She’s the missing princes’ daughter.”

“What the hell are you talking about, Meghan?”

s**t, s**t, s**t. I can’t believe she’s going to tell him.

“Lily is Charles Winters’ daughter, the future queen. You are wrecking everything.”

“How do you know that? and why am I just finding this out. I could have you killed for keeping information like this from me.”

“Oh shut up, you’re not going to kill your sons mother. Especially with what I know.”

“Quit with the games, and if you know what’s good for you’ll tell me everything.”

“She has a pure white wolf with a purple star. Do you have any idea what she could give Ben? Our son could have been king. If you have just listened to me.”

“I wouldn’t have thought you would be one on mating for power. You were mated to an omega for crying out loud.”

“So we’re you,”

“How did you find the out?”

“I know more than you think. I’m capable of more than you give me credit for. Who do you think killed my omega mate?”

I gasped and covered my mouth quickly, hoping they didn’t hear me. This b***h is crazy. Killing her own fated mate.

“I’ve underestimated you my luna. Now what’s the plan? I’m assuming you have some sort of one. “

“I’ve asked Brooke to seduce Myles. Lily knows that Ben cheated on her with Brooke. So it should wreck any trust she has for Myles.

With Lily’s mom gone, Ben could use that to try to comfort her and draw her back in. But Ben is going to have to to tell her what you made him do and apologize like hell saying he was stupid and just a kid.”

“She will hate me though. Im sure she will never let me at the palace.”

“I know but if you would of just let the two of them be together we wouldnt be in this mess now would we? Least this way she will begin to trust Ben again. You cannot let him bring Louise here now. Promise me you will stop that.”

“I’ll take care of it. Meghan you have to talk to me more. If i would of known all of this could of been avoided. So dont blame me for everything. You need to trust me more. Now does anyone else know who she is?”

“Myles does, but that is it. Lily’s mom and I both made them swear not to tell anyone and as far as trusting you i dont think i ever can.”

“Well you might have to start. You know we might have to plan an accident for Myles if he gets in our way.”

“I already have a plan for that if needed”

These assholes are really going to try to kill there own gammas son if they don’t get there way.

My dad is going to freak out. He trusted the alpha and luna up intill what Myles and Lily told them. But to now threaten his son, I’m not sure if my dad will be able to hold back.

I heard the door slam when they left the library. I grabbed the few books I found and snuck out into the hallway. I checked both ways before I walked out to head to Myles room.

Luna was standing around the corner. “Where did you come from Amber?” Her eyes trailed down to my hand that held the books. She looked nervous all of sudden.

“Just headed to go study with Lily. She got accepted into Brantley College. Shes looking at becoming a packs nurse or doctor.” She wasn’t the only nervous one.

She looked confused. I tried to cover the books covers as best I could. “Very well. She doesnt need to do all that studying.”

I couldn’t help but take a jab at her and her damn pride. “Yeah that’s what I keep telling her if her and Myles mark eachother she would be the gamma female and not have hardly anytime left to become a nurse. “

I tried to make sure to make it out to be that I didn’t know anything about Lily being a princess.

She scrunched her eyebrows. “I’m not sure if there that serious yet.”

“Oh but they really are luna. Didn’t you see them in the dinning hall? There talking about marking eachother. But anyways I better head to Myles and Lily’s room. She’s waiting on me. It was nice talking with you though.”

She looked beyond pissed and she never took her eyes off of me as I headed to Myles floor. She still looked way to suspious. I’m not sure if she bought what I said. But man did it feel good to get at her alittle bit.

Luna Meghans POV

I wasn’t planning on telling him like that. I just knew he would continue to push Louise on Ben unless something better came along.

I know my son and I know he would never go against his father’s wishes. He could be such a coward.

I just hope he can man up enough for when he becomes king. He can’t be weak. I wish he wouldn’t be such a pushover. It will be his father running the kingdom, not him. He would just be his puppet.

Amber nearly ran into me. She came around the corner so fast. When I saw the books in her hand i instantly started to panic. The only thing down that hallway is a bathroom and the ranked members library and few empty offices.

We didn’t think to check the library before me and Rodger started talking about Lily. But in our defense it’s hardly used. What could she possible be doing in there.

I knew she eas lying to me. I couldn’t exactly see what books she had in her hand, she made a point to keep her hands and arms covering the titles.

The way she made the comment about Lily and Myles being serious I knew she probably heard the whole conversation about our plans for Lily and Ben. There was no way to prove that she was in there though.

It was to late to stop her from telling Lily or Myles. She was already on her way up there. I reacted to late. Now what the hell do I do?

If I have her killed. Myles and Lily would know it was me and any chance Ben and her would have would be gone.

I linked Rodger letting him what just happened.

He roared. “Why didn’t you stop her? You could of in that moment?”

“I honestly wasn’t thinking. I was mostly in shock. I’m not even sure if she heard anything or was even in that library. Her hands were full of books and a binder. She said her and Lily were going to study.”

“Why didn’t you just say that? Lily came to me six months okay saying she got accepted into Brantley College. She asked if I would take her on as the pack nurse or doctor if she passed everything. So it is possible they were just going to study “

“But Amber came from that hallway, there’s nothing down there.”

“Okay there’s a bathroom and a door to the outside. She could of used the the bathroom or was coming from outside. You just assumed she was using the library. What she said makes sense.”

Maybe rodger was right maybe I just assumed she was in the library. If Lily really was trying to go to college and Amber was helping her means Lily hasn’t told anyone besides Myles which is good for us.

I just need to relax. I’m overreacting, yes just overreacting. The plan is still on track. I just hope Lily’s mom doesn’t show up. No one can seem to track her down.
