Flora was hanging out in the lobby, waiting for him. Ray, with nothing better to do, decided to join her. He asked the manager to hand her a warmer and crank up the heat a notch. He figured, Flora wasn't exactly the delicate type-anyone who could take down a burly guy with her bare hands wouldn't be fazed by a little chill, right? But hey, some folks treated her like she was made of glass. So, he had to play along. "Flora, seriously, can't you put on a bit more?" Ray said, eyeing her flimsy outfit with a smirk. "You're always draining my wallet, billions at this point, and yet you can't get yourself a decent coat?"

Why did girls insist on dressing so lightly in the dead of winter? Aisha did the same thing, and he always wanted to wrap her up like a burrito. Flora wasn't wearing much either a knit sweater and a wool coat-but to a guy, that seemed like next to nothing. "I'm skint," Flora shot back with a cheeky grin. "How about a little funding?"

"No way am I funding an ungrateful little fox," Ray quipped, half-jokingly.

He'd seen Kruiz and the others leave, stashing sachets of potpourri in their pockets. Not once had Flora given him a sachet, yet she always managed to wring money out of him. Ten billion for a bottle of perfume? The more he thought about it, the more it irked him. Flora casually glanced at him, maybe realizing she'd pushed it too far. She rummaged through her bag, pulled out two bottles of perfume, and tossed them over: "One for Aisha, one for you."

The perfume was way more potent than those sachets and took a lot more effort to make. Ray was genuinely surprised, thinking, Wow, has Flora finally come around? Was she actually giving him something? He couldn't help but grin.

Just as he was feeling pleased, Flora chimed in, "Same rate, ten billion a bottle."

Ray: "..."

You've got to be kidding.

Right then, Connor walked in. He had a black umbrella in one hand and a pink and white bag in the other, bringing a chill with him.

"Connor," Flora called out, rushing towards him. Connor, still damp from outside, gently kept a bit of distance. He pulled a scarf and hat from the bag and helped Flora put them on.

Noticing Ray's woeful expression, Connor asked, "What's up with you?"

Ray recounted Flora's little antics, "Your girl sure knows how to do business."

"Yep, she's got talent," Connor chuckled, affectionately tousling Flora's hat. Ray: "..."

He didn't want to deal with this lovey-dovey scene, so he turned to head upstairs, feeling a bit annoyed. But he wasn't truly upset. He wasn't going to get worked up over a few billion. To him, it was just pocket change.

"Let's head out," Connor said, taking Flora's hand as they strolled outside. It was freezing with rain and snow, but Flora's hand felt warm in his.

In just a couple of hours, Aisha's

world had crumbled. Her endorsements, ads, and even the roles she was close to landing were all gone. The other parties demanded contract terminations and hefty breach penalties. By trying to smear Flora, she'd alienated most of the entertainment industry, making her future there bleak. Even her agent had given up on her.

Aisha knew the company was ready to cut ties with her too. She blamed Flora for her downfall. All she did was post a tweet, did Flora have to go this far? Would she be satisfied only when Aisha was completely ruined?

Flora was backed by Florik Entertainment and had national support, making her untouchable. But Cecelia didn't have such backing.

Aisha, masked and wearing sunglasses, headed for a secluded little rental. She pulled out her key and let herself in, startling the two people inside who jumped up from the sofa-none other than Liam Peyton.
