Her Revenge Contract -
Chapter 28
Xavier's POV
I needed to make Kate understand that she was the only one I wanted.
I needed to claim both her body and mind.
My c*ck twitched, just think of how deep I had pushed my shaft into her, how hard I had ridden her in that private bathroom...
It was pure bliss, and I wanted more...
I wanted to hear more of her moans... hear her whisper my name as I pumped into her, f*cking her long and hard, until she came undone...
I wanted to feel her juices as they ran over my c*ck, and down her beautiful thighs... and lick them off her body as proof of how much I wanted to taste her...
I growled under my breath as I made the turn-off toward the pack. I had let the driver home and took the Harley. I needed to clear my mind... and then think of a plan... My mind raced back to Kate, the only thing that mattered to me.
I didn't care about the contract... but now the contract was almost weighing heavily between us. It was the only thing that was forcefully bounding us together.
I will show Kate that the piece of paper didn't mean anything to me, but she did...
Kate was now the only thing that mattered to me... She had become my heartbeat, my oxygen for survival... and if anything should happen to her, I would lose my mind... My mind wandered off...
I would destroy anything and everything should I lose Kate... even destroy King Enterprises myself, if it was needed.
I shook the grey thoughts off and focused on our conversation after my punishment...
A small smile played on the corner of my lips, remembering how flustered Kate looked after I was done punishing her for being rude and irrational in the washroom...
Her flustered face was beautiful, and for a second I wished I could see that every second of the day...
"Then you would never get any work done," Ray commented.
"True," I answered, "but we would be buried in her wet p*ssy most of the day..."
He chuckled and shook his head. He too couldn't get enough of having Kate around us.
Now that we had Kate today, Ray had calmed down just enough to stop being a pain in the ass.
"I will show her she belongs to us," I promised him.
"You better do," he warned me, "else I will mark her while you f*ck her..."
That I didn't want to do, forcing a mark onto your mate, was still wrong and unacceptable, yet, the idea did cross my mind a few times.
I sighed and shifted my mind back to the conversations we had on our return to the office.
"Since you have an idea what John's plans are, I won't interfere too much," I said seriously, "but keep in mind that John did find a way to kill you once before. The engagement keeps you safe for the time being, but John will not give up that easily." "I know," Kate answered, and sighed, "I will have to play this in such a way that he would back off and think I am incompetent..."
"True," I agreed, "but just be careful."
I dropped Kate off at the office and left for my 3 pm meeting.
The meeting was boring and dragged... and I wished I hadn't attended.
"Why do you smell like Kate?" Greyson mind-linked me.
"Because we had lunch together!" I answered, and lifted an eyebrow at him, "What is it to you?"
"You reak off sex," he commented and sat back with a teasing smile plastered on his face.
"What's your point?" I growled over the mind link.
"It's a bit unprofessional..." he said and found my gaze, "if this was a board meeting or even a meeting with a client or supplier, it would have looked bad... that's all!" "Are you my mother?" I growled, annoyed.
"No," Greyson answered, keeping a straight face, "but your best friend and Beta, and it is my job to keep you on the straight and narrow path!"
Greyson was right, I shouldn't do things like this during my work hours, as it might destroy my and the company's reputation.
I sighed defeated, and gave Greyson a nod of the head, indicating that I took his words to heart.
Minutes later, I excused myself and left the office.
I stopped the Harley outside and one of the pack members rushed toward me and handed him the keys.
I made my way toward my home office, feeling a bit frustrated with myself.
Greyson arrived a few minutes later, and he followed my scent to my office.
"What's going on?" He asked and took a seat.
"I'm just frustrated," I answered, "I'm not sure if Kate will pull this off?"
"Pull what off?" Greyson asked.
"She was going to create just enough of a stir among the staff to get John off her back..."
Greyson smiled at me like he knew the answer already.
"I think Kate is quite capable..." he then commented.
I sat back in my office chair, crossed my arms, and shifted my head to the side, waiting for Greyson to tell me.
"... Kerry called me over lunchtime and told me that Sarah, Kate's new assistant, was complaining about her being rude. The girl acted like a wounded animal after Kate left...
According to the office gossip, Kate refused to let her assistant tag along to a business meeting... and yelled at her before witnesses..."
"That's not all, is it?" I asked and got up, walking to the alcohol cabinet, and poured myself and Greyson a drink.
"No," he answered, and chuckled, "on her return from her business lunch, she acted like a spoiled brat..."
I turned my gaze over my shoulder, interested to know what she pulled off.
"Oh?" I said and returned to my table, and handed Greyson his drink.
"Yeah," Greyson answered, "Kate created such a show that it stirred up a commotion among the staff..."
"What did she do?" taking a sip of the Barbour, feeling the golden liquid burning down my throat.
"Apparently, Sarah mentioned the financial statements being on Kate's desk. She snapped and asked her assistant if she was just going to let her stand there like a fool and if the documents would miraculously fly into her hands." "She didn't!?" I gasped.
"She did," Greyson continued, "the assistant jumped from her chair and rushed toward Kate's office, opening the door for her, and to top it off, Kate threw her coat at the girl and demanded a cup of coffee!"
Greyson took a sip of his drink, and sat back, "it created an uproar in the office when the employees saw Sarah rushing out of Kate's office, crying."
"The girl has guts!" I commented, knowing that it must be hurting Kate to do such things to her employees.
"Yes," Greyson agreed, "our future Luna will definitely be one to reckon with."
Silence followed before Greyson lifted his gaze and turned his wrist, looking at the time.
"You do know that you need to get ready for tonight's dinner arrangement with Kate's family?" Greyson asked.
I sighed and lifted my gaze toward Greyson.
"Yes, I know," I answered, "and you will be my plus one!"
