Alexa is working in the nightclub. However, she is not happy as she is a waitress and sometimes she has to play bartender. She was used to not working and scamming her way through life. Jackson is dead, and her son is with her cousin. She feels lonely when she goes to her apartment alone at night. Alexa is bitter as she watches social media and sees Jennie and Dante with the three children being so happy. Even Enzo has started dating a woman called Rose, who is all over social media. She is the only one that is lonely. In her mind, it is not fair. Sometimes her mother will call her and tell her how terrible she is and that she can not even get a husband to look after her. Her mother also blames her for messing up her relationship with Dante.

“It could have been you with Dante and not your ugly cousin Jennie,” Her mother always tells her when she calls.

“I know, mother, but it did not work out as Dante had already slept with her while we were engaged, and he must have fallen in love with Jennie then,” She would always say.

“Well, both Enzo and Dante are not married yet. So you still stand a chance,” Her mother would say.

“I hardly see them, and I work long hours, so how am I going to make that happen? Stop dreaming and leave me alone!” Alexa will scream at her mother out of frustration.

“You gave your son away to that cousin of yours!” Her mother would scream back, and Alexa would sigh.

“I don’t want him as he is always in my way,” Alexa would answer and slam the phone down at that point.

Alexa is also not a sweet, innocent woman. No, she sometimes sleeps with the billionaires that visit the club, and they usually come to her apartment as most of them are married and can not take her home. They will use drugs, drink and have s*x. They give her money as they are bored with their wives at home and they want some naughty party time with a beautiful young woman. Alexa does not mind. The money helps her buy her drugs and alcohol, and sometimes, she will put a little of the money away for rainy days. Alexa looks at the tables she will have to serve tonight, and she makes sure she gets most of the wealthy men who like to party. One of the men at a table caught her eye. He is British, giving money away like he has millions of it. She overheard the others call him Carl.

Carl and his family have moved to LA, and their new company is doing okay but not as well as they hoped it would. Without Jennie, they are not making the money they are used to. His mother and father are thinking of selling the business and going back to England, but Carl loves America and LA, and he loves hanging out with the rich and famous. If only he could get rid of Amber Black, who keeps following him wherever he goes. She is beautiful, and men love hanging around her, but Amber is not the type for him. She was pregnant but lost their baby, and now she is a crying mess, and he can not handle a crying woman.

Alexa likes Carl, and she thinks he has never partied hard before. So it will be fun partying with him. All night long, she flirts with Carl, and Carl likes the waitress’s attention, and she reminds him of Jennie. So Alexa makes sure Carl gets drunk, but not drunk enough not to go home and party with her. Carl waits for Alexa’s shift to end, and then he asks her if she has a place where they can go party some more. Alexa smiles at him and takes his hand. She leads him out of the club, and she tells him to drive to a place where she can get some nice stuff they can party with. Carl does not know what Alexa is talking about, but he drives to where she tells him and asks him for money, which he gives her. Alexa’s dealer is happy to see her again as she brings him a lot of business. He looks at the money and gives her some of his “good stuff.”

Alexa takes Carl to her place, and Carl, who did not do drugs before, gets high fast and starts drinking even more. Alexa smiles as she knows this guy will give her all his cash by the end of the night. They party, make love and do drugs as she always does with her other clients. Carl keeps giving her money, and Alexa smiles happily. However, today she has hit the jackpot. Carl keeps shooting up, and Alexa, who is also high, does not realise that Carl is taking too much of the “good stuff”. When Carl passes out, she goes to her room and bed. She leaves Carl, where he has passed out. The following morning with a severe headache, Alexa walks up and walks to the kitchen to get some coffee. She sees Carl is still there and walks over to him to wake him up to go home. Usually, when she wakes up, her clients are already gone.

“Hey, Carl, time to go home,” She shouts, but he does not move. Finally, she walks over to him and realises that something is wrong. Caral is not responding to her calling him, and she tries slapping him to try and wake him up. Someone is knocking at her door, shouting for Carl to open the door immediately. It must be his wife!

“Carl Connors, open this door right now! I know you are in there, and I swear I will break this door down if I have to,” Amber Black shouts. Carl did not come home last night, and she had enough of him cheating on her. So today, she will drag him home and make him marry her. Alexa is panicking. What does she do? Carl is unconscious on her couch. Well, she hopes he is only unconscious, and there is a crazy woman at her door. Alexa feels her heart beating at a million miles an hour. Luckily, Carl got dressed after they had s*x. She needs to stay calm and think. Alexa takes all the drugs and alcohol away and flashes it down the drain. She walks to the door and opens it.

“Who are you?” Alexa asks.

“I am Amber Black, Carl’s fiance, and I bet you are his latest w***e?” Amber says. She found out from a friend of Carl that he went home with the waitress last night, but he can not remember much as he drank too much himself last night. He knew the waitress, though, and gave Amber her address as he had partied with her before, but he did not mention that part. He only said that the waitresses sometimes take drunk men home. If they can not tell them where they are staying, they will stay over at a safe place. Carl’s friend did not want his wife to find out he had been at Alexa’s home before.

“Listen, miss Black. I am a waitress. Carl was too drunk to drive last night, and he could not tell me where he lived, so I brought him here. He is sleeping on the couch. You can go in and look for yourself,” Alexa says. Amber pushes past Alexa and sees Carl fully clothed lying on the couch. Amber believes Alexa as she thinks about what Carl’s friend said. She walks over to Carl, who is still sleeping, and tries to wake him up without success.

“What did he take? He looks like he is dead,” Amber starts to panic.

“I do not know. I only helped him out last night,” Alexa says. She is also worried that Carl overdosed. They try everything to wake Carl up, but nothing seems to work. Amber takes his pulse and feels nothing. Carl does not respond as they lay him down on the carpet and try CPR.

“What are we going to do?” Alexa asks. Amber looks at her, and she knows some people might think she had something to do with his death, as she has told him many times that if he cheats on her again, he will end up in a ditch somewhere. She is as panicked as Alexa.

“We have to get him out of your apartment! People might think you and I killed him,” Amber says.

“Why would they think that?” Alexa says. Amber tells her everything about their relationship and how she faked being pregnant and lost her baby to get Carl to marry her. She also tells Alexa how she threatened Carl.

“So think, girl, we need to get rid of this body and fast,” Amber ends her story.

“Okay, we need to psalm down and think. I may know someone that can help us, but I don’t know if they will,” Alexa says. First, she tries calling Jennie, but Jennie does not answer. Then she tries calling Dante, but his phone is off. Finally, she even tries calling Andrei, with no luck. Jen and Logan also do not answer. No one wanted to talk to her because she mistreated her son.

“No one is answering. They are all mad at me,” Alexa says at last.

“Well, then it is just you and me,” Amber says, and she starts thinking about how they can get rid of the body.

“We will have to get him out of here and get rid of his car. I got an idea. Bind his legs to ours, put some sunglasses on him and a hat and walk him out of here,” Alexa says. Carl is a dead weight, but between the two of them, they get his legs tied to theirs and practice walking with Carl. At first, it isn’t easy, and the two girls have difficulty keeping him up. So they bind a rope around their bodies and Carl, which helps keep him upright. They walk out of the apartment to the elevator, and to hide the cords, they wear long jackets and put a coat on for Carl. It was one of Jackson’s old coats that Alexa took with her to remind her dead lover. They make holes in the jackets where the rope can go through, and nobody will see the ropes when they are close to each other.

The girls have not thought things through, though. As they get to the car, they look at each other. What now? The car is parked in the underground garage, but what if someone comes in and sees the girl untying Carl? They will have to take the chance. Alexa knows there are no security cameras as it is an old building. The landlord does not care much about security, as many hookers and other underground people stay there. He does not want the police to drag him into some of the activities in and around his building. The apartment is not in a good neighbourhood. Enzo did give Alexa a place to stay in a better neighbourhood, but the people there were too nosy, and Alexa could not take her clients there without the neighbours complaining.

“Okay, quickly untie him,” Alexa says, and they take off their coats and untie him and put him into the passenger side of his car. Carl is slumped over, and they put his seatbelt on to keep him upright. Most of the people in the building are at work, so the two ladies do not get disturbed. Not that anyone in this neighbourhood sticks their noses into anyone else’s business as it may get you killed.

“Okay, you drive to a place we can leave him where people will not leave him and his car alone. We will leave his purse and phone where everyone can see it, which may destroy all evidence of us touching him and his car,” Amber says.

“Why don’t we just put him in the passenger seat and push him into a river somewhere,” Alexa says.

“Yes! Let’s do that,” Amber says. She knows of a very isolated place where the river is deep, and they can punch the car off the road. Amber drives in front of Alexa and to the remote spot. They make sure to take all their things out of his car and struggle to get Carl in the driving seat. Finally, they got him in the driver’s seat. They make sure not to leave any proof of them being in his car, although it does not matter if there is any proof left as Amber was his girlfriend and Alexa took him home the previous night. They push the car off the road and into the river. They look at the car sinking and swear, never telling anyone about their secret. Nobody saw them, or so they think and hope. They get into Amber’s car and drive back to Alexa’s old apartment. Carl Connors is gone.

“Well, we did not kill him. He did it to himself,” Amber says, trying to clear her conscience.

“Yeah, he did not treat you right anyway,” Alexa says. The two girls feel guilty, but they are not going to get into trouble over a man like Carl Conners and blame his death. So when his parents report him missing, the two girls stick to their stories. Alexa said she helped him out and gave him a place to stay for the night as he was high and drunk. However, she heard him leave around twelve that night, and Alexa says he was not there when she went looking for him at Alexa’s place. Nowhere in the neighbourhood are cameras that work, as the people in the community do not like security cameras. So the police come to a dead end. Maybe Carl got tired of his parents and overbearing girlfriend and decided to disappear. Carl disappeared, never to be seen again until years later, when drivers found him in his car in a river near LA. Nobody suspected foul play as he had his wallet and passport with him, and it was ruled an accident. Carl’s parents have their doubts but are too afraid to speak up as they think Carl had pissed off the Petrovs and they killed him.
