Hiding With Her Twin Babies
Chapter 31

Enzo has been seeing Rose for the last couple of weeks. He is so in love and sends her a red rose to her office every morning. However, Enzo is a romantic at heart, and when he meets Rose’s baby sister, he can see that she is not impressed with him at first. Rose knows it is because Tammy is afraid that Enzo will take her sister away from her and be all alone in the world. Rose explains to Enzo why her little sister is so hostile towards him, and he decides the best way to show Tammy he will never take her sister away from her is to include her as much as possible in everything he and Rose do.

“How would you girls like to go to the zoo with me today?” Enzo asks.

“I would love to,” Rose says, and they both look at Tammy.

“How about you, princess?” Enzo asks.

“You want me to go?” Tammy asks, unsure.

“We will not go if you do not join us,” Enzo answers.

“Then I will go,” Tammy says. She is only six, and Tammy gets tired when they walk around the zoo. Finally, Enzo picks her up and puts her on his shoulders. Tammy is surprised, as uncle Larson never even wanted to talk to her, never mind picking her up. She starts warming up to Enzo. Maybe he will not be as bad as Uncle Larson. As they walk out after spending the day at the zoo, Enzo looks up and sees Tammy looking longingly at a stuffed penguin that the zoo sells. He walks over to the little stall and buys one. He carries it to the car, and when he loads Tammy into the back and makes sure she is strapped in, he hands her the penguin. Tammy can not believe it.

“Is it for me?” Tammy asks.

“Yes, princess. He is all yours, and you can give him a name,” Enzo says.

“I will call him Jay because two of my friends at school are called Jayden and Jayda. So if I call him Jay, he has the short for both their names,” Tammy says happily.

“That is a beautiful name. Let me tell you a little secret: Jayda, Jayden and Jack and my niece and nephews,” Enzo says and winks at Tammy.

“Really? I like them. They took down the bullies at school and now are the leaders at our school. I like Jayda. She always takes care of me at school,” Tammy says.

“Hmm, that sounds like them,” Enzo laughs as she holds Rose’s hand.

“Uncle Enzo, will you always be this nice to me?” Tammy asks.

“I will treat you as my daughter. You are my little princess. I promise you that,” Enzo says. Tammy feels happy and leans forward and k****s Enzo on the cheek.

“Thank you for my penguin,” Tammy says. Enzo’s heart melts as he looks in the rearview mirror at the little girl, who looks a lot like his Rose.

Rose is close to tears as she sees how Enzo handles her little sister. Hanna and Larson, who are the family of little Tammy, do not even care so much about Tammy as Enzo does. She is thankful to Enzo. Tammy has fallen asleep with her penguin clutch in her tiny arms as they reach home. Enzo opens the back door and picks Tammy up.

“Daddy,” Tammy whispers as Enzo picks her up. He knows she longs for a mother and a father, and he feels her touching his heart even more than she did before. Enzo goes and lies, Tammy down in her bed. Then, he walks back to Rose, waiting for him in the sitting room. They make out, and that night, Enzo spends his first night with Rose.

The weeks pass fast, and Enzo visits Rose and Tammy one day. Rose is as white as a ghost, reading a letter. It looks like a lawyer’s letter. Enzo takes the letter out of her hands as Rose cries so much that she can not tell him what is wrong. It is a letter from her sister and her husband wanting custody of little Tammy. That states that Rose is not married and can not take care of a child as a single woman, and they will be more suitable as a married couple without children to take care of little Tammy. Enzo gets on one knee in front of Rose.

“They are doing this to spite you,” Enzo says.

“I know, but what am I to do?” Rose asks Enzo.

“Rosemary Taylor, will you marry me?” Enzo asks.

“Are you doing this to help me?” Rose asks.

“You know I love you, and I want to marry you regardless of this letter. All this letter did was to push the date up a little,” Enzo says with a smile.

“Really? Will you do this for my sister and me? But, Enzo, I don’t want to push you to hurry things,” Rose says. She is unsure if she has to do this to save her sister from living with those two ruthless people.

“Listen, Rose, I love you. I will love you a hundred years from now. So, if we get married now or in ten years, what is the difference?” Enzo asks her.

“You are right. I will love you forever. Yes, Enzo, I will marry you,” Rose says.

Enzo calls his mother and tells her everything that happened. They all know how Enzo loves Rose, and they do not care about the rush.

“Give me two days to plan everything,” Jen says. Then, she calls for the help of all her friends, her daughters and Jennie.

The women do not take long to get the venue, the menu, and the flowers arranged. Next, Jennie takes Rose to shop for a dress, and, in the meantime, Enzo goes and buys a suit. Finally, they find the perfect dress for Rose and Jennie. So everything is set for the wedding. The family knows Enzo could have stopped Hanna and her husband, but they know Enzo wants to marry Rose as soon as possible as he is afraid of losing her, and he is using this as an excuse to marry Rose. Poor Rose knows nothing about the law, and she only wants to protect her little sister. Enzo has made a princess’ room like Jayda’s for Tammy in his house, and he even put in all the electronics Dante’s trio have in little Tammy’s room. Tammy goes to play at Jayda’s house a lot, and she can never tell Enzo and Rose enough about how beautiful Jayda’s room is.

Rose is overwhelmed by how fast everything is going, but she loves Enzo and knows she wants to spend the rest of her life with him. Enzo had kept Tammy’s room a secret from both Rose and Tammy as a secret until they moved in. He also bought Tammy a beautiful dress to look like a princess on the wedding day. He even bought her a whole closet full of princess dresses and shoes with princess tiaras. He bought her everything a little girl’s heart could wish for. There are dolls and stuffed toys. Her whole room is full of everything. Enzo gave Jennie his credit card and told her to buy clothes for Rose and Tammy. Jennie grabs the opportunity and buys her friend and her little sister a lot of clothing, shoes and bags. She knows Rose and Tammy will need it when they go out in public with Enzo. Enzo can only raise his eyebrows as he sees how much Jennie spent. Jennie even bought Rose some jewellery, but Enzo does not mind. He loves Rose and Tammy and wants them to look good when he takes them out on dates.

Rose is nervous on the wedding day, but she knows one thing: the Hudson family gets things done quickly. Enzo told her about his family and their connections with the Mafia, but that does not bother Rose. She loves Enzo for who he is, and what he and his family do has nothing to do with her. She knows she and her little sister will be safe, and nothing will ever happen to them again as they will be protected. Rose is shy, and she does not like facing the media, so Enzo keeps the press away from her and Tammy. Jennie also protects Rose from the media and helps her face the media when they come close to the two women’s office building. Jennie also lived up to her promise to tell the media if anything was happening between her and Dante. She tells the media they are engaged and shows them her ring. Jennie shows Rose how to handle the press and Rose. Rose tells them she is engaged to Enzo and asks them to respect their privacy.

Jen has arranged for someone to come and do their hair and make-up on the wedding day, and Rose is overwhelmed again as all the women take over and do her make-up and nails. Then, finally, she looks like a queen when she steps into her wedding dress. Rose looks at herself in the mirror and can not believe it is the same girl from a few months ago. She never dreamed of looking like this in her entire life.

Logan walks Rose down the aisle with little Tammy and Jayda, the flower girls. Jayden and Jack are the ring bearers. Rose misses her parents today, but she promised herself not to cry. Not on her wedding day. She sees Enzo standing at the altar waiting for her, and she knows he is her future and all her prayers have been answered. Finally, she and Tammy will be safe in the hands of the man she loves so much. Rose did not invite Hanna or her brother-in-law, as she does not want them to know she is marrying one of the most powerful men in America. She wants it to surprise them when they go to court over custody over her little sister. She wants them to know they can no longer mess with her or little Tammy.

Enzo looks at his beautiful bride walking towards him. He is glad Logan agreed to walk her down the aisle as Rose had no one else to ask. Enzo is so proud of his bride, and he is thankful for everyone who stepped in and helped with the wedding. His mother and sister are singing a beautiful love song as Rose and Logan approach him. As the song ends, Logan hands Rose over to Enzo. Jennie and Dante are sitting with the boys who are holding the rings. Jennie makes sure they do not lose them as she knows her sons and knows they can be careless sometimes. Jennie and Dante have decided to marry during the next school holiday, and they want to get married on the farm in Houston. The ceremony went smoothly, and the two boys handed the rings over without making any mistakes.

The celebrations are at Logan and Jen’s house in LA. As the couple walks out, they give the media time to take photos of them. Rose does not think her sister and brother-in-law will see the pictures anyway as they hardly watch the television, and they only use their phones to make calls. They are very old fashioned and do not go on the internet. She knows her brother-in-law is on the verge of bankruptcy, and someone at his firm told her he hardly go to the office anymore. Rose remembers when she begged him to let her work at her company, and he laughed at her. Rose knows she could have helped him and Hanna, but she knows Hanna and Larson are too proud and arrogant to ask for her help. Rose shook her head to forget about her past and enjoy her wedding day. She and Enzo get into the limo to go and celebrate the best day of their lives with their true friends and family.
