Hiding With Her Twin Babies
Chapter 34

It is Tammy’s birthday party today, and Tammy can not wait to get out of bed. It is Saturday, and she wants to look like an actual princess when her friends arrive. Dante, Jennie, and the trio are already there to help prepare. Jayda sees Tammy first and runs to her, and hugs her.

“Happy birthday, Tammy. You are my next friend in the world,” Jayda says. Jack and Jayden walk towards the girls, and since they are at that stage where they are shy and do not like to touch girls, they stand at a distance.

“Happy birthday, Tammy,” They say. The trio has already put their presents with the rest of the gifts on the table. Tammy and Jayda dressed like princesses, and Jayden and Jack wore jeans and t-shirts.

“You did not dress like princes,” Tammy says.

“We are the leaders in our school dressing like a prince will ruin our reputation,” Jayden says.

“Yeah, the other boys will laugh at us and then we will have to beat them again,” Jack says.

“Since when do you beat other children in school?” Jennie asks behind them, and the two boys jump around and look at their mother.

“We only did it once, mom. We hit the bullies as they made fun of everyone and bullied the other kids. We were protecting everyone,” Jayden says.

“Yeah, they protected me as Victor wanted to force me to be his girlfriend,” Jayda says.

“We will talk about this at home,” Jennie says and the trio sigh.

They know Jennie by now and do not want to look for trouble with her. However, she can be very strict, and if she talks with that tone, they know they are all three in trouble. Their best chance is to come clean with Dante and hope he will protect them against the punishment and anger of Jennie.

“Mom is going to ground us for at least a month. No game or playing or going to town with dad,” Jayden sighs.

“Our future looks bleak,” Jack says.

“We are doomed,” Jayda says. The trio looks so sad that Tammy walks over to Jennie.

“Aunt Jennie, please do not be mad at Jayda, Jayden and Jack. They only protect the other children, and Victor is not a bully anymore. He became friends with us after Jayden talked to him,” Tammy says. The trio standing close hopes Tammy does not make it worst for them. Jennie smiles at the children.

“Enjoy the party. I will not punish them. I promise. We will only talk,” Jennie says with a smile, and the trio looks at Tammy with relief in their eyes.

“Well, that is a relief,” Jayden says.

“Thank you, Tammy,” Jayda says and hugs her again. Soon other children arrive, and the party begins. There are not many adults, only family. Jen and Logan are there as Tammy is like their granddaughter. Angelica, Mabel, Andrei and Tristan all come to the party. Andrei and Dante are thinking about starting a new venture together, and Tristan wants to expand his father’s business to the states.

Angelica has always been in love with Andrei, but nobody knows except Jen, who knows her daughter very well because she does not show her emotions as Mabel does. Jen can see Angelica looking at Andrei when he is not looking her way. Andrei has always been in love with the more talkative Mabel. Mabel like Tristan, but he does not seem to be interested in her, and Mabel has lately turned her attention to Andrei. It hurts Angelica seeing Andrei and Mabel laughing and talking all the time, but Andrei’s attention is not with Mabel. He can not help looking at Angelica, who is quiet and sitting near the pool watching the children. He knows he should be happy spending time with Mabel, but he is not, and he does not understand why. Angelica looks so sad and lonely, and it bothers Andrei. He sees her glass is empty, and he excuse himself and walks over to Angelica with a cocktail in his hand.

“Do you mind if I join you?” Andrei asks, and Angelica looks up at Andrei. She smiles and tells him he can sit if he wants to.

“Why the sad face?” Andrei asks.

“I am not sad. I was thinking,” Angelica says. She hides her feelings again and starts talking about the business. Andrei realises that Angelica is hiding her emotions behind the business talk, and he smiles. She is challenging to talk to when it comes to herself.

“Angelica, it is a party. Relax a bit and stop talking shop,” Andrei says. Angelica blushes and looks away.

“What do you want to talk about with me then?” She asks. She knows Andrei has a thing for Mabel.

“Let’s talk about you. How have you been?” Andrei asks.

“Well, you know me, I am always okay,” Angelica answers.

“Any man in your life?” Andrei asks. Angelica looks at Andrei funny. Why does he want to know that?

“No, I am still looking for Mr Right. How about you?” Angelica asks.

“I am not into men,” Andrei teases, and Angelica can not help to laugh.

“You know what I mean,” Angelica says.

“Well, I like a lady, but she seems not to be interested in me,” Andrei says.

“Mabel? The two of you were talking right now. I am sure if you try a little harder, you can win her heart,” Angelica says.

“Who says it is Mabel? What if I like her sister, and she is trying to get rid of me and send me to her sister?” Andrei asks. He looks mad as he walks away from her. Angelica feels like crying. She gets up and storms into the house. She runs into Jennie, and Jennie can see she is upset.

“Hey, girl, slow down. Why are you so upset?” Jennie asks.

“I made Andrei mad, and I do not understand why,” Angelica says. But of course, the last thing she wanted to do was make Andrei mad. So Andrei, who saw Angelica storm into the house, followed her. He is standing behind her.

“Why does that upset you so much, Angy?” Jennie asks as she holds Angy in her arms, trying to calm her down. The two girl does not see the big man watching them.

“I love him, Jennie, I have loved Andrei my whole life, but all he sees is Mabel. She is my sister, and I love her, and I do not blame her. I wished she loved Andrei so he could be happy, but she loves Tristan. She always has. Why is life so difficult,” Angy says.

“What if Andrei loves you and not Mabel, and you would not give him a bloody chance to tell you! That is why he is mad and standing right here now and does not know if he should be mad or happy as the woman he loves, loves him back,” Andrei says from behind. Angy and Jennie look at Andrei.

“Well, I am leaving you two to sort this out,” Jennie says and walks out as fast as she can. She knows her brother, and she does not want to be in his bad books. However, Angy feels she can run with Jennie because Andrei looks pissed off.

“If you dare to run away from me, I swear I will pull you over my lap and s***k that sexy bum of yours,” Andrei says.

“I am not afraid of you, Andrei Petrov. However, if you try to s***k me, you will regret it,” Angy says.

“Oh! Come here, Angelica,” Andrei orders Angy, but she stands her ground and refuses to listen to him.

“Who do you think you are to order me around!” She asks Andrei. With two steps, Andrei is in front of her, and he takes her in his arms and k****s Angy hard as he is mad. He is not used to people disobeying him, but feeling Angy’s soft lips under his makes him k**s her with more passion, and his k****s become more delicate and loving. Angy can not hold herself back, and she throws her arms around Andrei’s neck and returns his k****s with the same passion he is kissing her.

“Hmm, that is more like it,” Andrei whispers against her lips. As Angy looks up, she sees her whole family and the children staring at them. The kids are giggling, and the adults are smiling. Tristan and Mabel are standing side by side and looking at the couple that stands in each other’s arms. Angy tries to step out of Andrei’s arms, but he holds her tide and looks at Jen and Logan.

“May I have your daughter’s hand in marriage?” Andrei asks. Jen and Logan smile. They remember when their love was young.

“Yes, as long as you will always look after her and love her with all your heart,” Logan says. He always thought he would not be happy when a man claims his daughters, but he knows Andrei and knows Andrei will always be good for Angy.

Angy looks at Mabel, who is glaring at her. She has an ugly smile on her face. Angy always loved Mabel, although Mabel was always a bit vain since high school. She is used to getting all the attention, and when she does not, she can turn ugly. It is a side Jen, and Logan saw before, and as her parents, they do not like it.

“Wow, a real love story, and it happened on my birthday!” Tammy shouts.

“I want real love stories to happen on my birthday,” Jayda says.

“No, our birthday is the same day, and I do not want kissing and smooching on my birthday. Ewww!” Jayden says. The adults laugh. Jayden looks at all of them. They all are couples except for Aunt Mabel and Uncle Tristan.

“Aunt Mabel, you better get Uncle Tristan to k**s you before my birthday. You two are the only ones that are not a couple, and I do not want that to happen on my birthday. But, knowing my sister, she will make a wish when we blow out the candles for it to happen,” Jayden says, staring at Jayda. Everyone laughs, and Mabel is red in her face.

“Maybe we will go on a few dates, and then we will talk again on your birthday,” Tristan teases Jayden.

“No way, not on my birthday. On my birthday, I am only inviting adult couples,” Jayden says, and he looks very serious.

“That is impolite. Even if you are not a couple, I will invite you, Aunt Mabel, and you, Uncle Tristan. Besides, it is my birthday as well,” Jayda says.

“Let’s go eat cake and play. I am getting bored with this adult business,” Jayden says, and the children all run outside to go play and eat some of the cake that looks like a princess. Tammy has never been so happy in her short life. The other adults walk out with the children leaving Andrei and Angy alone. Only one remains. Mabel stares at the couple.

“Well, you did a great job trying to make me jealous, Andrei. You can drop the act now and admit you want me,” Mabel says.

“What the hell are you talking about, Mabel? Yes, maybe a few months ago, I thought I was still in love with you, but not anymore. I love Angy, and I want to marry her,” Andrei says.

“You think I have to believe that? One does not fall out of love with someone so fast and finds out he loved her sister all the time,” Mabel says, and she can not help feeling jealous. She never wanted Andrei, but now that he is out of her reach, she wants him. She walks over to Andrei and throws her arms around him. However, Andrei removes her hands and grabs Angy pulling her into his arms.

“You are out of your mind. You should be happy for your sister and not be so selfish. I love Angy, and I will always love Angy. You have become so vain you do not even want to see your sister happy. We both know you never loved me and never will. Chase after Tristan like you have your whole life. Mabel, we have been friends for our whole lives, do not mess it up now,” Andrei says. Mabel can not believe that Andrei pushed her away for her sister! But she feels ashamed of her behaviour.

“I am sorry. I was jealous because you got the man you loved for so long. I know you never showed it, sis, but I knew you love Andrei. I hope the two of you happiness and that you will grow old together,” Mabel says, and she hugs her sister. She feels sad for herself and is shy about the way she acts.

“It is okay, Mabel, you will always be my sister, and I will always love you,” Angy says. Andrei smiles as he is happy that Mabel realised her mistake and dared to apologise. They walk outside as Tammy opens her presents. As Tammy opens the last one, she is disappointed that there is no present from Enzo and Rose. Then Enzo comes around the corner with a little pink Porshe, and Tammy runs to him and Rose, who are helping Enzo push it. Tammy gets in her new toy car and drives around. She gives all the children a turn, and the rest of the party goes smoothly. That night all the children at the party slept like angels as they had a long and busy day. Tammy is sleeping with a smile on her face. Her little pink Porshe is standing in the garage next to her sister and Enzo’s cars. Her dreams are all filled with the wonderful day she had. Enzo and Rose have decided to not share their news about the baby yet as they feel it is Tammy’s day.-
