Hiding With Her Twin Babies -
Chapter 44
Dante is not happy being away from his family, even if it is only for a few hours. Boris and Loraine look at Jennie as she walks down the stairs. Boris will give Jennie away, and he has never felt so proud of his beautiful daughter. Jen, Angy and Mabel feel pleased as they look at their handy work and those of the hair and makeup artists. Tammy and Jayda will be driving with their mother to the church as they are the flower girls. Jayden and Jack are the ring carriers and are waiting with Dante and Logan at the church. Dante keeps calling his mother to make sure Jennie does not run away again. Jen can only laugh as she knows it is because Dante is nervous, and he wants to get this over with and make Jennie his wife. Dante and Enzo are like their father, Logan. They can only love one woman for the rest of their lives and will always be fateful. They are also jealous and protective, but not in a creepy way. Jen, Jennie and Rose know the men in their lives love them with all their heart, and they have warm, passionate b***d flowing through their veins. It is part of being married to a dominant alpha male born into the Italian Mafia. They are used to protect and be the boss.
Jen, Jennie and Rose also know that although the men in their lives are dominant, they will always ask for advice and not make life-changing decisions without consulting their wives first. Jennie can not believe that this is happening. Today, she is marrying the love of her life, and she can not wait to be Donna Casella, the wife of the Godfather. Since Jennie was a little girl, she dreamt about this day. But, she never thought her dream would come true.
“Your mommy looks like a princess,” Tammy says to Jayda.
“I know. I hope I can look like her when I get married one day,” Jayda says.
“You are as beautiful as she is, and you will look like her,” Tammy says.
“You are also beautiful, and maybe you and Jayden will get married one day, or perhaps you and Jack and I will be your maid of honour,” Jayda says.
“I don’t think Jayden or Jack will marry me. I prefer a prince anyway,” Tammy says. Jayda laughs.
“Well, Jayden and Jack will be like princes one day,” Jayda says. Tammy knows it is true as they all know they will one day take over from Dante.
“Yeah, but who will you marry?” Tammy asks.
“When I am old enough, I think I want to marry our leader on our game,” Jayda says.
“You don’t even know what he looks like, and besides, he is much older than we are,” Tammy says.
“Yes, I know, but only by eight years or so, many women like to marry older men,” Jayda says as she dreams about the leader on their game and thinks of him as this sexy tall, dark boy of about sixteen. Little does she know her mother works with Jason, the leader of the big five.
Jennie and the rest of her bridal party get into the limo. Dante’s men follow them. No one wants something happening to the soon-to-be new Donna Casella. Angy and Mabel are the bridesmaids with Rose the maid of honour, and Andrei and Bernardo are the groom’s men, with Enzo, the best man. Jen will sing a new love song she wrote for Dante and Jennie. Jen planned everything to perfection so that nothing could go wrong, She hopes. With the children all involved, one never knows. She can only hope they are going to behave. Jen loves her grandchildren, and she does not even think of Tammy and Jack not being her grandchildren to her. They are all the same, and she treats them in the same way she treats the twins. Jen looks at Jennie and smiles proudly. She is glad Dante caught them at the airport and found his Jennie he had missed for eight years. If only he had told her, she would have made sure they met earlier in their lives, but maybe it was meant to be like this. Dante will appreciate Jennie and the twins so much more now. She knows her son, and she can see how much he loves Jennie. Jennie and the twins and little Jack can work wonders with Dante. Dante used never to show his feeling, and he sometimes still does not show his feelings when he is alone in public, but when Jennie or the twins and little Jack are close to him, he can not help showing his love for them.
Dante is walking impatiently up and down. He wants this to be over as he does not like big events. Not where he and his family are the focal points of the event. His men kept the paparazzi from getting too close, and he did not invite any magazines or newspapers to his wedding. Dante does not like the press much. They always had something to say about him being single, and now that he is getting married, they still won’t leave him alone. He hates the articles about him in the newspapers and the fact that they all say he stayed single because he was hiding Jennie all these years from the world. He is proud of her. Why the f**k will he hide her? Dante and Jennie left it that way and never explained their story to the world as they felt it was private and had nothing to do with the world. Jennie handles the press better than him, and they respect her, but they want photos of her wedding dress, and Jennie has promised them she will allow them a few minutes to take pictures of her in her dress and of her and Dante after the wedding. She then asked them to respect their privacy after that and let them enough their special day with their friends and family. Dante knows the press and paparazzi will do it for Jennie as they love her and the way she always gives them a chance to be part of the action.
“The bride has arrived,” Bernardo says as he walks into the room where Dante and his father is waiting. Dante and the men with him go to the altar and waits for Jennie to enter the church. Jennie gave the paparazzi and press time to take their photos before she walked towards the chapel. Jen takes her place and starts singing the love song she wrote for her son and Jennie. She wished she had time to write Enzo and Rose a song on their wedding day, but it was such a rush that she had no time. So instead, she will write songs for her daughters, and at least she and Mabel could sing the first love song she wrote for Logan at Rose and Enzo’s wedding.
As the two flower girls walk down the aisle spreading blue rose petals followed by Jennie, Dante can not take his eyes off his beautiful bride. The little girls sit with their grandfather as they reach the end of the aisle, and Boris pulls back the veil covering Jennie’s face and hands her over to Dante. Dante takes Jennie’s hand as they stand in front of the altar. Then, when it is time to say their vows, Dante looks at Jennie.
“I, Dante Hudson, promise to love you, protect you and grow old with you. You are my only true love, and for almost nine years, I have been waiting for this day to make you my wife. I will be there for you as long as I live. I will love you. Even when we are old and our children leave the nest, I will not leave you. I will always put you and our children first in my life. You are the best thing that happened to me. I am proud of you and what you achieved in life, even when I was not there. You will never be alone again. Today, I am proud that you are becoming my wife, and I promise to always listen to your advice and respect you as the mother of my children and my life partner,” Dante says his vows. He has to use the Hudson surname in front of the guest as people do not know that he is part of the notorious Casella Mafia family. When they sign the register, it will include the Hudson and Casella surnames as the priest knows about the Casella family and are part of the Italian Mafia.
“I, Jennie Petrov, promise to respect you and love you for the rest of my life. You saved me from me and made me believe in everlasting love. Since a young age, I have loved you, and I am proud to stand here today and become your wife. Thank you for loving me, for being my strength and my protector. Thank you for being my eyes when I could not see the truth of our love. You would not give up on me when I pushed you away, and I want to thank you for that. I promise to grow old with you and help you when you need me. I promise to be the best wife and mother to you and our children. I am proud of you and to become your wife today. I love you forever and a day,” Jennie says her vows. Jen and Loraine are in tears, and Mabel looks at Bernardo with tears in her eyes. Angy and Andrei also look emotional, but both of them does not like to show emotion, and they smile at each other, knowing they will one day stand in front of an altar and make the same promises to each other.
After the ceremony, the photographer takes photos of the bride and groom. The photographer also captured the whole ceremony on video so the family can one day look at it and remember this day. Jennie and Dante also allow the press and paparazzi to take photos of them together. They also allow a few pictures with the children and bridal parties. The press remembers the cute twins from their videos on a plane, and they love that the twin still talks with an English accent. They love little Jack and Tammy, but the twins steal the spotlight. After getting their photos, the press and paparazzi thanked Jennie and Dante and left by themselves to give the couple and their family and friends privacy. Dante is still in owe that Jennie and the press have such a good understanding.
They get into the limo and drive to the venue. Jen and Logan drive with Jennie and Dante, while the children want to drive with their aunts and uncles. Jen and Logan look at the couple, and Jen wonders why Dante and Jennie intend to take the children with them on their honeymoon. She thinks the children should stay home with her and Logan so the couple can be alone for a few days. They know they have to go with Jennie and Dante to give them some privacy and babysit the children when Jennie and Dante want to spend time alone, but it does not feel suitable for Jen.
“Why take the children with you on your honeymoon and not just let them stay with us until you come back?” Jen asks Dante and Jennie. Dante smiles as he looks at Jennie.
“Do you know my wife, mom? She has not been away from the children for longer than a couple of days. She will drive you crazy and call every five seconds to hear of they are okay,” Dante says.
“It is true. I want them with Dante and me, and I want them to enjoy everything in life with us. Besides, I will go crazy if I can not see them,” Jennie says.
“We have video call, and I am sure there will be internet where you are going so you can chat with them on video all. But, it is only for fourteen days,” Logan tries.
“Nope, it will not be the same. Besides, they are looking forward to going to Africa,” Jennie says.
“If you do not want to go, we can ask someone else to go with us to babysit the few nights we want to spend alone,” Dante says.
“No, we will go with you. We have not been to Botswana before and would love to see the beautiful country. But, I thought you two need time alone,” Jen says. With that, the conversation is over, but Jen plans on buying the two of them some tickets to Italy later to have a real honeymoon, and she will do it when the children have to go to school, and Jennie and Dante will not be able to say no. A couple needs a real honeymoon, in Jen’s opinion.
