Hiding With Her Twin Babies
Chapter 71

The twins are growing up fast and becoming naughtier daily. The trio has their hands full to keep the twins out of their rooms and studies, and the poor trio was already in big trouble for getting their books torn to pieces. The teachers at school are not impressed when they try to explain that their baby brother and sister got a hold of their books. So now they put their books high and make sure the twins can not reach them. Tammy had the same problem with Taylor, but he is now old enough not to tear her books. He is about two and a half now, and he is entirely potty trained and does not drink from his bottle anymore. The twins were one and a half years when Mabel gave birth to her twins. The family waits in the waiting room while poor Bernardo is inside with her Mabel. Mabel, the drama queen, blames poor Bernardo for her pain and suffering.

“It is all your fault for putting two babies inside me!” Mabel cries as she grabs Bernardo’s hand and squeezes it until Bernardo feels like his eyes will pop out.

“Sweetheart, twins are from your side of the family, not mine,” Bernardo tries to calm Mabel down.

“I don’t care from which side of the bloody family it is. You put them inside me!” Mabel says. The doctor and nurses smile and look at poor Bernardo with sympathy. Mabel shouts out in pain again, and Bernardo tries to help her, but Mabel squeezes his hand so hard he swears it she broke it this time.

“Mrs Garza, you need to calm down and start pushing hard now,” The doctor says. She glares at the poor doctor.

“Oh, if it is so easy, why don’t you come to do it, and I will be down there staring at my private part!” Mabel says. Bernardo wants to say something, but the doctor and nurses burst out laughing.

“Geez, sweetheart, calm down. You are only giving birth. Jennie did it twice,” Bernardo says.

“Well, I am not Jennie, and after this, you are getting fixed,” Mabel says.

“You mean I have to get a vasectomy? Getting fixed sounds like I am a dog,” Bernardo says dryly, and again the nurses and doctors can not help to laugh. Bernardo and Mabel decided to keep the genders a secret as they did not want to know beforehand. Angy is also pregnant with twins and chooses to keep her babies’ genders a secret. She also feels having two children will be more than enough for her and Andrei. The trio and Tammy are playing in the waiting room.

“First, it was a lot of weddings. Now it is babies. Can’t you people give it at least two or three years? No, everyone has to have babies within a year of each other, never giving us some rest from having babies around,” Jayden complains and looks at all the adults who are sitting with babies or are pregnant. Angy and Rose are both pregnant, but Rose only expects one baby again. The adults can only smile as they know Jayden is tired. The trio is now ten, and Tammy is nine, almost ten like the trio. They do not celebrate their birthdays and go to the soup kitchens to give them money and spend the day with the children at the soup kitchen. They got everything they needed, and they asked everyone who wanted to provide them with presents to instead give them to the soup kitchens or orphanages. The trio, Tammy and Jason, are trendy on YouTube as they stream their gaming, and a lot of fans know not to give them money or donations, they offer gifts to charity, and the BigFive will give them a shout out once they do it.

“One last push Mabel, I can see the head of the first baby,” The doctor says. Mabel is still in pain and gives one last push. He gives the baby to the nurse in a hurry as baby two does not want to wait. The nurse quickly put a string on baby one, so they could know which one was born first. Mabel gives one last push, and the second baby is born.

“I do not care if the first baby is a boy or a girl, but the name is Bernardo for giving me the most hell,” Mabel says.

“Luckily for him, it is a boy,” The nurse laughs.

“As if I give you hell,” Bernardo mumbles and rubs his hand that is paining like hell.

“You also have a little healthy girl,” The doctor says.

“Her name will be Gabriella as she was soft and tender on her mommy and came out quickly,” Mabel says. Bernardo smiles. He loves his feisty little wife. He bends over and k****s her.

“Sorry, you went through all this, sweetheart,” Bernardo says. The nurse hands him the two babies, and he first hugs them before passing them to their mother. Mabel looks down on her two beautiful babies, and she forgets all about the pain she went through.

“It was worth it, babe. Sorry I was such a drama queen. Sorry for shouting at you, doctor,” Mabel says. She can not stop looking at her two babies.

“It is okay. I had heard worst during births,” The doctor says with a smile. The nurses tell Bernardo to leave the room so they can clean up the babies and Mabel and take them to the private room where Mabel and the babies will stay for a while until they can go home. Bernardo orders his men to stand guard, not let anyone in, and follow them to the other room. He does not want to take any chances with his little family. He walks to the waiting room and informs everyone it is a boy and girl and that they and Mabel are okay.

“You can not call the boy Jayden, as there is only one Jayden in this family,” Jayden says and looks at Bernardo. He still remembers the tuxedo thing, and although they are, even Jayden can not forget it. Bernardo smiles.

“Their names are Bernardo and Gabriella,” Bernardo says. Gabriella, who also had her child a year ago, smiles happily at her brother. She and Riccardo and little Riccardo, who they call Ricco, came for the birth and to help Mabel during the last few weeks of her pregnancy. Bernardo and Mabel were with Gabriella and Riccardo the previous few weeks before she gave birth, and they also stayed until Ricco was born.

“When can we see the babies,” Jayda asks and stares at her rude brother.

“Soon, little princess, they are just cleaning them up,” Bernardo says. Jayden walks over and shakes Bernardo’s hand.

“Congratulations, Uncle Bernardo. Sorry if I sounded rude,” Jayden says, and he is the first to congratulate Bernardo. Bernardo smiles at Jayden and thanks Jayden. Then, the rest of the family joins in, and soon, they all when to see the babies.

As soon as everyone leaves, Bernardo walks to Mabel and the babies’ room. He smiles at his sleeping wife and the two sleeping babies. Bernardo is the happiest man alive. He never thought he would have a family of his own one day. Bernardo promises his two babies that he will make sure they will never have to grow up in the streets and be there for them always. He is whispering so Mabel does not wake up, but Mabel is lying awake and looking at her husband and hearing his promise to their babies.

“I will never leave your mommy and the two of you as you three are my whole world,” Bernardo whispers. Mabel feels the tears running over her cheeks. She was not mean to him while giving birth. She reaches out and touches Bernardo’s arm. He looks over at her and smiles.

“I love you, sweetheart. Thank you for giving me a family,” Bernado says.

“I am so sorry I was so mean to you, baby,” Mabel says.

“Yeah, you were in pain, and I am used to you being mean to me. But, don’t you dare to change Mabel Garza! I love my feisty wife, and you always keep me on my toes. I love you just the way you are,” Bernardo says. He gets into bed with Mabel and k****s her. Then he holds her in his arms.

“I heard the promise you made to our little ones. They are the happiest children alive on earth to have a daddy like you,” Mabel says.

“I love them as I love you, with my whole heart. I never thought I would have a family one day as I was afraid to fall in love and have children. I was scared I would turn out as my parents did. But you came into my life, and you stole my heart! I will never regret the day I kidnapped you,” Bernardo says.

“Stop, you are making me cry again,” Mabel says, but she k****s Bernardo with so much passion that he can feel the love in her heart for him.

“I love you, sweetheart,” Bernardo says.

“I love you, babe,” Mabel answers him. They fall asleep but not for long as the babies start crying, and Bernardo has to get up to hand them to their mother to feed. A few days later, they go home, and since the nurses helped Mabel a lot, Bernardo hired a nurse to help them, but she will only be able to be there the following day.

They have a room for the babies and lay them down to sleep after feeding them. The babies are quiet for a long time and sleep well. When they wake up, Bernardo picks up Bernie as they decide to call him for now, and Mabel picks up Gabby. They are getting used to handling babies as both are first-time parents. Mabel looks at Bernardo, who is sniffing the air.

“Something stinks,” Bernardo says. Mabel goes pale as she smells it too. Bernardo and Mabel look at each other. The smell is coming from the babies. They have never changed a nappy as the nurses changed the nappies in the hospital.

“Okay, we can do this,” Bernardo says.

“Shall I get masks and gloves,” Mabel asks. She is a pampered princess and never changed a nappy in her life.

“I think we should be okay without it,” Bernardo says. They take the babies to the changing stations they installed in the bathroom. Mabel and Bernardo lay the babies down on the changing stations and start undressing them to get to the nappies. As Mabel takes off the nappie, she wants to vomit. Mabel never thought a tiny baby could poop so much, and it could stink so much. She tries to take off the nappy and pretend she is okay. Mabel is swallowing as she feels the vomit coming up her throat. She knows she will get used to it, but this is her first time. Bernardo is not doing much better. He looks at the poop and grabs a bucket close to him. He starts to vomit, and Mabel looks away and pretends not to hear Bernardo vomit. She starts washing Gabby’s little bum and cleaning her up. She is sweating from not trying to vomit. She forgets the cloth in her hand is full of poop and rubs it over her sweety forehead. Bernardo looks at her and points to her forehead, but he can not utter a word as he has to grab the bucket again and vomit again.

At last, Mabel and Bernardo have the kids cleaned up and bathe them before dressing them again, but he vomits every time Bernardo looks at Mabel. Mabel can not help but keep smelling poop, and Bernardo can not stop vomiting. Finally, Mabel looks in the mirror as the twins are all clean and ready to be fed again. She sees the poop on her forehead. No wonder she keeps smelling poop. She quickly washes her face and starts laughing.

“Well, apart from you vomiting all the time and me having poop all over me. I think we did not do too bad,” Mabel says to Bernardo.

“Yeah, I guess we will get used to it,” Bernardo says, not sounding too sure.

“Hey, look at us, baby, we can clean and bathe our children and dress them, and we did it all by ourselves,” Mabel says. The twins are crying as they are hungry, and Mabel goes to feed them.

“Don’t feed them too much, damn, that was a load of poop,” Bernardo says, and Mabel laughs. After that, they will be okay with their two babies. They will take it one step at a time.
