Ethan's POV

The shadows twisted around me like living snakes, tightening their grip. Panic set in as I struggled to hold on to the trembling, crumbling barrier. "Bianca!" he said. he said, smirking.

I shouted, my voice booming in the commotion. I could feel his presence, but it was dim, like a candle flickering in a storm. "Ethan!" he said. he said, smirking.
