Chapter 635 Yanis, go home, okay?

Zane responded, "It's okay, he's cute." Alfie, who was about to say something to Zane, glanced at him and then remained silent. Wendy put Alfie aside and looked at Yanis and Zane. She said softly, "Let's go eat first. I prepared Mr. Lawrence's breakfast."

Yanis nodded and asked, "Where are Bonnie and Stella?"

"They should be outside. You guys sit down first; I'll go call them," Wendy replied.

After Wendy left with Alfie, Yanis took Zane to the dining room. "You can start eating," he said.

"I'll wait for them," Zane replied calmly.

Yanis didn't say anything more after hearing this.

Bonnie and Stella came in shortly after that. They both glanced at Yanis before greeting Zane.

Bonnie seemed to have forgotten what she did last night because she wasn't holding back in front of Zane anymore. "Did Mr. Lawrence get lucky last night?" she asked jokingly.

Zane looked up at her briefly before replying with a thank you for her help.

When Bonnie heard this response from him, she was taken aback for a moment before asking again: "What do you mean by 'my help'?"

Zane simply nodded his head as if agreeing with her statement but not wanting to elaborate further on the subject.

After that exchange between them ended awkwardly without any clear answers being given by either party involved in it all - things went quiet again until they finished their meal together.

As soon as Zane left after finishing his breakfast alone (without waiting for Bonnie or anyone else), Bonnie immediately pulled Yanis aside asking him what happened last night when they were all drinking together.

Yanis placed the album he had just taken out on the counter while looking directly into Bonnie's eyes: "You puked all over him."

Bonnie gasped loudly upon hearing this news; it was clearly not something that she had anticipated happening during their drunken escapades from the previous evening!

"Really...did I really throw up on him?" She asked incredulously while trying hard not laugh out loud due to how ridiculous everything sounded now that it was being recounted back to her like this. "Yes," Yanis confirmed solemnly while adding: "I even gave one of your shirts from your store so he could change clothes."

"So...that's why he stayed over last night?"

"Yeah," Yanis agreed nonchalantly as if nothing unusual had happened whatsoever! Bonnie clicked her tongue. "Then I should vomit a few more times, so he can get this big advantage for nothing." Yanis couldn't understand Bonnie's thought process, but he didn't say anything else. They chatted for a while, but Bonnie had to go attend to a client who had arrived.

Yanis was relatively more relaxed than Bonnie. "My car is parked over at the night market. Can you give me a ride there?" Stella approached Yanis after finishing up with Alfie.

Yanis glanced at the time. "It's already this late; why don't you finish lunch first before leaving?"

Stella shook her head. "No, I made an appointment with a client yesterday; she'll be coming soon to pick out clothes for her child and I have to go."

Yanis didn't try to persuade her any further. "Wait here for me then; I'll drive you there."

Stella nodded in agreement. Yanis packed up his things and drove Stella over to the night market.

"You're pretty bold parking your car here without worrying about it getting scratched," Yanis said softly as he watched Stella park in an open spot.

Stella laughed lightly, "There are surveillance cameras around here; whoever scratches it will have to pay up."

Yanis hadn't noticed that there were surveillance cameras installed around here before now and said so aloud.

"I only saw them yesterday when I parked my car," Stella explained with a smile on her face as she pointed towards the red sedan nearby that looked like it had been through some rough times due to all of its scratches along one side of its door.

"This area is dead space where the cameras can't see anything," Stella continued speaking matter-of-factly about how both drivers would just have no choice but accept their fate since they wouldn't be able prove who was responsible for what happened between their cars.

"Next time we should be more careful," Yanis agreed with what she said.

"Okay then, you can head back now," Stella waved goodbye towards him as he left on his way back home from where they were standing outside of her car near the entrance of the night market area.. On his way back home though, Yanis suddenly realized that Zane's package which Albi delivered yesterday afternoon was still sitting untouched inside his room somewhere!

He completely forgot about it earlier this morning! He remembered thinking that Zane would come by later after washing up or something like that... but then everything happened so suddenly afterwards causing him forget all about it entirely!

After hesitating briefly, Yanishad no choice but callZane right awayto let him knowaboutthe package delivery mishap.. After a few rings, Zane answered the phone, "Yanis?"

"The things you had Albi deliver to you yesterday afternoon, is the list still with you or with Albi?" Yanis asked.

"It's with me. What's up?" Zane replied after a moment of silence.

"I'll come pick them up. I don't need them anymore. Can I return them?"

"I threw away the list," Zane said in a low voice.

"Threw it away? Why?" Yanis was surprised.

"Well, maybe you can sell them instead," Zane suggested.

Yanis thought back to when she sold some things that Zane had bought before leaving D-king Castle and cleared her throat awkwardly. "I don't have space for all those things at my place."

"Just leave them at D-king Castle. I've expanded the closet and opened up the bedroom study so we can fit as much as we need," Zane said confidently.

Yanis was momentarily speechless and could sense what he meant by that suggestion but chose not to respond directly. The two fell silent for several seconds before finally breaking it off again when Zane spoke first: "Yanis, come home please."

For a moment Yanis felt impulsive but ultimately restrained herself: "I think there's enough room on my end and Bonnie's too."

Zane didn't say anything in response to Yanis' words: "Just bring whatever doesn't fit back home then."

With an unclear response from Yanis, she quickly hung up the phone.

At Lawrence Group Building,

Albi stood in front of his desk looking at Zane who suddenly appeared with a smile on his face like he'd seen something strange.

"Mr. Lawrence?", Albi called out softly.

But apparently, Zen ignored him completely.

Albi didn't dare call out again either. So he stood there for about a minute or so while Zen seemed like he wasn't going to pay attention any time soon.

Taking a deep breath, Albi called out again,"Mr. Lawrence?"

Only then did Zen snap out of it. The smile on his face disappeared quickly, and he looked up at Albi."When did you come in?"

Alibi:"..."

When Mrs. Lawrence was coaxed into coming home by your gentle words, isn't that when I came in?

Of course, Ali couldn't say such words directly in front of Zen's face.
