Aidan didn’t speak, just listened to the two alphas without understanding much. He knew something was wrong with his body, but he had no specific idea what. He had no knowledge of being an omega.

He walked to the door and as if it were his own house he opened the door.

He had hoped she had relaxed for this and was calmly making his way over to watch the reaction of the omega’s body. He knew that the morning’s conversation had been unsettling in more ways than one. It had taken him by surprise himself. Aidan was a strong person but everyone had a limit.

-Do you need me to hold anything else for you,” she said against his ear as she stroked his back.

She felt him deny it against her chest.

Aidan broke away, more relaxed, and without complaint, he heeded her words but took the opportunity to continue working via the internet. He only had to decide on the final solution of the project identifier to start working on the other editorial areas.

The trip was longer than they both thought. Dominic had decided to drive himself. He didn’t trust any skills other than those of Leo who had had to stay at the helm of the company. And now that he had his partner asleep in the passenger seat even less so.

He left Aidan in the car for a few seconds and walked quickly to the reception where a young woman attended them.

-Sorry, but we are full, you’re lucky this one was available as our client cancelled at the last minute.

The alpha massaged his temple. The pain in his head was starting to fade slightly, it always happened in the early days when the heat was approaching, but he still couldn’t take the suppressants. They were too strong and only took effect during the 24 hour cycle. He reached into his trousers and pulled out his credit card and handed it to her. The girl took it and brushed her fingers thoroughly and he grunted in response warning her. The woman startled and looked at him with wide eyes. Then all the illusion she had with him was gone and she was typing on the computer as fast as she could.

-Here’s your key,” the girl handed him a card to access the suit along with the credit card, trembling slightly.

Dominic returned to the car along with one of the employees who grabbed his two suitcases to take care of them. He opened Aidan’s door and lightly shook him by the shoulder.

-Beautiful, we’re here,” he said, but received only a slight g***n from his guarantor in response.

Madox had mentioned that the medicine made her sleepy, but she had no idea how much it had affected her. She took his arms and wrapped them around her neck, pulling him into hers, following the clerk to lead the way. There, with him so close, she felt powerful, protecting what was hers. If only Aidan would stay calmly by his side everything would be easier.

The young man opened the door and let them in. The room for a suite wasn’t quite the five stars Dominic was used to but for a four star hotel it wasn’t bad. It was spacious, decorated mainly in gold and ivory colours. The sheets on the canopy bed along with the curtains were satin and black cotton that contrasted with the walls. On the other side was a huge window that opened onto a small terrace where it was possible to sit and relax. All in all it was not bad. He dismissed the attendant and led the omega to the bed.

He rolled over on his side and hugged the pillow, continuing to sleep. Dominic worried, was that normal? He pulled out his phone and dialed Madox’s number.

-What are you doing calling me at such a time,” Dominic could feel a faint g***n in the background and sighed. Good doctor and powerful alpha like few others, but the word promiscuous was an understatement, and he’d fallen for it a few times when he was younger, and they’d gone on the hunt. He had noticed that the room had a huge departmental wardrobe. What bothered him was the bed, a single bed. It was huge, but he still didn’t know if his omega would be comfortable when he woke up to that fact. For the moment he could only wait.
