I’m Not Yours, Alpha – Chapter 87
Aidan was really shaking that day. His hands were so cold that they were stiff. Because the reflection in front of the mirror was something really amazing.
Him in a white suit while they finished arranging his hair. Because yes, that was his wedding day. And he still couldn’t believe it.
The sound of the door made her react and look over her shoulder. A small boy, with a six-month belly, huge for his size and dressed in a simple suit of pants and a wide pastel blue turtleneck shirt, entered the room.
-Julian smiled at his friend with a huge grin.
-You think I’d miss my best friend’s wedding,” he walked over and stopped next to her, “I’m your best man, of course I’d come. Although I confess I spent all week convincing Madox to let me out of the hospital. He’s more psychiatric than usual. It’s watching him all the time. Imagine the other day I threw up because something got stuck in my throat and he was by my side like a faithful dog all night. I couldn’t sleep.
At the omega’s chatter Aidan laughed letting out his nervousness.
-Thanks for coming in spite of everything,” he grabbed Julian’s hands and kissed them, “I’m really nervous and having you here helps me a lot.
-And I’m happy to keep you company. And now let me look at you.
Aidan stood up showing his white suit fitted at the waist. The buttons of the shirt embroidered in silver threads were finely decorated. The small bow around his neck was also silver to match the chain that ran from his coat pocket down to his shirt. A piece worthy of an omega who would marry a tall alpha like Dominic. Though he was the one who had bought his own clothes. He worked and earned enough due to the amount of recent work and the excitement of the company that he didn’t need his future husband’s money. Even if he constantly insisted on giving her his credit card.
To top it off, two pairs of silver hoops danced in her ears. She didn’t usually wear too many gadgets, but on this occasion they were perfect for her, even if she was a man.
-You look gorgeous,” Julian complimented him.
-Thank you,” she stroked his cheek, “I’m sure you’ll look sensational in one like that, too.
Julian’s cheeks grew very red.
-I don’t think with this huge belly I’ll look good in anything. Even these clothes look awful on me,” she lifted him up showing her feet, “I even had to wear sandals because my feet are two huge tamales. Still, Madox looked delighted. I don’t know what he really looks cute when I look like a huge stuffed potato.
Both omegas laughed.
-I heard him say that when you lift his punishment the first thing he’ll do is propose to you. I’m sorry for screwing up his surprise, but with those alphas you never know.
Julian couldn’t stop laughing, although the blush on his cheeks was even more noticeable.
-If he asks me to marry him in this state, I swear I’ll turn him down. I’m not going to look fat on my wedding day.
-But you look nice,” Aidan placed his hands on his huge belly, “I’d like to look like that,” there was a strange smile on his face. Julian understood his distress.
-I’m sure you will be able to soon. Madox’s medicine is very effective and he has already said that your hormonal system is stabilizing properly. Besides, you are young.
Aidan closed his eyes and remembered his last consultation. The ultrasound of her uterus had indicated that it was still weak but already close to being fertile so, if she continued treatment and receiving her alpha’s pheromones, the chances of being able to have a child of her own would be great.
She had to think positive. First because it was his wedding day and second because the alpha by his side had not abandoned him at any time. Even if he had the possibility of not giving her a puppy.
-It’s time,” one of the ladies peeked in the door indicating that the ceremony would begin.
-It’s time,” Julian clasped her hands in his, “You’ll be a married person after this. How do you feel?
-I’ve been living with Dominic for a while, I even carry his bite so I don’t really know how to say it but I swear my stomach is turning with nerves,” he smiled at her.
They heard a sound at the door and the person who appeared left Julian surprised.
-He will be the one to walk me down the aisle,” Aidan explained when he saw his friend’s reaction, “I don’t know my father and I don’t think I’m ready to face him if he appears in front of me, and my mother…maybe at some point, we can sit down and talk about the past but not now, when I’m still suffering the consequences of her actions.
-You’re strong Aidan,” his friend stroked his arm.
-Aidan smiled at him and walked towards the person who would take him to the altar.
Dominic felt his heart hammering in his chest. His wedding day. Wow. Maybe a year and a bit ago he wouldn’t even have seen himself in that situation, but now he was the happiest man in the world.
In front of him sat his mother. Her face was serious. Very serious. He knew she still didn’t accept his marriage but that she had attended was something. Her father had told her that she had been pissed off for months but in the end she had chosen the wedding gift herself. Although after the incident or incidents when they visited her father had checked it out, just in case.
She also recognized Nicolas, that man who had helped them deal with Hans and Natacha, Aidan’s mother. But Wao, he was standing next to a young boy, an omega perhaps. Madox had told him that she had become entangled with an omega with a difficult past. Apparently he was serious about the boy because the way the fuere arm was over the younger one’s shoulders showed absolute dominance over him. And yet he was looking at him in a…tender way.
The sound of music indicated to him that the ceremony would be eating. A few steps away from him stood Madox beside an elegant chair and his gaze wandered between the entrance and the audience. He wanted to laugh. Julian had escaped him again.
After a few seconds the 6 ladies-in-waiting began to enter, dressed in silk and very elegant. They advanced down the hallway of the salon adorned in rose gold and white. Behind him Julian appeared with his belly but he managed to make his way elegantly. As soon as he got to where Dominic was, Madox helped him sit in the chair prepared for him and the alpha could see his friend let out a sigh of relief.
And then his omega walked in.
He gasped. On the arm of his father Reish who carried him as if he was someone extremely important. And he was, he was to him. Beautiful, wonderful, his other half, his everything.
When they reached him and the father handed over his future husband, Dominic trembled and he wasn’t the only one. He felt his omega’s hand in the same state as his own and lifted it to k**s it.
-I feel blessed,” he murmured to the two of them.
Aidan smiled with a slight blush.
-I don’t- he said and at Dominic’s expression of contrariness he smiled wider- I’m just kidding-.
Dominic grimaced.
-Don’t play with me Aidan, look where we are now.
He raised his shoulders.
-About to marry the man I love. A joke at your wedding won’t kill you in your heart.
-Honey,” his eyebrow twitched, “You going to Julian every day and spending time with Madox is hurting you, really hurting you.
-Hey, don’t bring me into that stew,” shouted Madox, who with his fine ears was listening to them, “and stop being so cheesy and get married, I have my own partner and my two puppies to take care of-” They all began to laugh loudly.
Everyone started to laugh out loud except Julian who was red as a tomato and the couple who glared at him after breaking their intimate moment. But he was right.
It was time.
-Will you be my husband,” Dominic held out his hand, “will you be my husband?
And Aidan placed his hand on his.
-Of course, my alpha.
