I'm Not Yours, Alpha
I’m Not Yours, Alpha – Chapter 86

Aidan took the hand offered by his alpha to get out of the car in front of the most expensive restaurant in the city. Like when your alpha wants to show you that he has money and lots of it. He wouldn’t criticize him, it was part of his dominant nature to be like that and more so when they were courting.

Because yes, Dominic was seriously courting him, and besides he knew the intentions of why he had taken him there. He knew him quite well and he wasn’t exactly a sneaky alpha, least of all his friend Madox who had almost shouted it for the whole house before he left earlier that morning. But he wasn’t going to ruin his surprise.

He was in a very good mood after wondering how Julian had been doing and Julian had communicated by saying he had been doing great all the way. Madox turned out to be a die-hard lover after all and someone who had taken the father figure very seriously.

But now he had to focus all his attention on his alpha. Because he really did look stunning that night. In a wine-red suit that contrasted with his green eyes. His blond hair meticulously groomed, and his natural alpha fragrance, she couldn’t ask for anything more.

Aidan had not been left behind wanting to match her so the white suit and tight to his slender body fit him perfectly, and wearing his hair combed to the side. And he felt even more beautiful when this one almost ogled him, when he saw him leave the room dressed like that.

Now at the entrance of the hotel the omega felt really nervous on the arm of his alpha. He had never imagined that this day would come. He had imagined thousands of scenes because it was normal. They were already partners, the mark on his neck was a sign of them, so formalizing the relationship was the next step.

-There are quite a few people today,” he noticed when they entered. It was usually full and having a reservation was difficult given the excellent quality of the place.

-This is not where we’re going, love,” Dominic kissed her temple, “Come, follow me.

They both walked towards the elevator and at the door, a man in an elegant suit, looked at the card the alpha handed him. He put a smile on his lips and invited them in. Aidan leaned against him feeling the masculine scent envelop him. Thinking about his past, everything that had happened and ending up there next to him still seemed so unreal.

-Are you okay,” Dominic asked with a slight smile.

He nodded and gave her a k**s on the cheek.

-I’m fine, I’m just, I’m happy to have you.

Dominic’s eyes sparkled and he grabbed his omega’s chin and lifted it up to trap her lips with his in a possessive k**s. The young man accompanying them didn’t look back despite the slight m**n that came from the younger one. Aidan tightened his arms and when Dominic broke away a blush settled on his face.

-Be careful what you say,” his voice was low, “I’m very sensitive at the moment and we may not get to what we have in store.

Aidan swallowed dryly and smiled mischievously.

-Even though we have company,” he rolled his eyes at the boy who tensed as he realized he was now the couple’s point of reference.

-That can be resolved,” he gave her a quick peck on the lips and regained his composure. Still, the atmosphere between them had become quite sensual.

And to that was added when they stepped out onto the terrace decorated in small lights and flowers everywhere. Near the balcony an elegant table was waiting for them.

-I want to spend an evening with you, my omega, may I? – Dominic’s voice was extremely measured.

Aidan smiled and accompanied him to the table where they both sat down. To his surprise, the dinner was quiet. With various dishes, exquisite and at a height he never thought he would eat in his life. Still, Aidan was nervous. The moment must be approaching.

After the last course Dominic asked him to dance and with soft music and their bodies joined together they began to move to the notes. Aidan leaned his head on his chest and listened to his heart pounding.

The omega smiled. He was about to tell her. He was sure and he would say yes. Because that was how it was supposed to be, wasn’t it?

Well, no.

After they finished dancing Dominic simply gave him a chaste k**s on his lips and told him it was time to go. Aidan couldn’t believe it.

What about his statement? What about his yes? What about his ring? And why did the alpha seem so…so…?

-Dominic, are you going to marry me, yes or no? -He shouted at her with his hands on his h**s and wiggling his foot impatiently.

The waiters around her looked at her with wide eyes at the young omega’s declaration towards the huge alpha. Wao, he had his pants on right.

And to everyone’s surprise, it was the alpha’s face that turned totally red. They even swore it reached the color of the suit.

-Huh? – Aidan couldn’t do anything when Dominic just…passed out.

-Don’t laugh anymore for god’s sake- complained Dominic lying on the bed of the luxurious hotel where he was resting. A wet cloth covered his eyes and his shirt had the first buttons undone. Next to him, sitting there holding his stomach, Aidan was doing nothing to contain his laughter.

-But what could I have imagined that a declaration of marriage would make you so nervous that you would faint. Seriously, where’s the haughty alpha I know?

Dominic grunted in embarrassment at the ridiculous scene he had surely made. He hadn’t even asked for details.

-After dinner I was supposed to propose to you and everything would be perfect in my blameless life. But it all turned out like shit- he removed the cloth from his eyes and looked annoyed with himself.

-Don’t get upset like that alpha,” Aidan let himself fall back and lay his head on his chest. You can’t always think everything is going to be okay. Besides, believe me it’s been the most…exciting…night of my life,” he guffawed again like there was no tomorrow. Tears blurred her eyes.

Dominic frowned. There was enough embarrassment to endure without his omega laughing at him like that. With a slight blush he stirred.

-I’m leaving,” he declared and started to get up, but Aidan was quicker and turned him back on his back and straddled him.

-You think we’re going to leave things like this,” he settled on his h*p, “The night is still long. We have time,” he smiled, tilting his head, “And since you’re ashamed to tell me straight. Will you give me an answer? –

Dominic swallowed dryly.

-Where’s my jacket,” he said in a deep voice.

Aidan smiled and reached out to grab it from the corner of the bed. He reached into one of the inside pockets where he knew the little box was and pulled it out. Dominic’s gaze was fixed on his hands which opened the small case.

Aidan smiled broadly and pulled out the beautiful rose gold ring with a diamond in the middle. He handed it to Dominic.

-Will you marry me?” he repeated again with certainty in his eyes.

The alpha was fascinated, grateful to life for having put an omega like him on his path and for him to be his destined mate.

-Really this is not at all what I planned and I think it’s the wackiest marriage proposal between an alpha and an omega in history- he teased enjoying the texture of her ring on his hand.

-Well, our relationship wasn’t normal from the start so another change won’t make a difference, don’t you think so my alpha- he caressed her breast.

Dominic had to admit it was true, but despite the lows and highs he had enjoyed every little moment.

-My omega,” he grabbed Aidan’s hand and began to put on the custom-made ring, “I agree to marry you, to be your husband and to take care of you through thick and thin. Always, with you… for all eternity.

And he kissed the ring already on her finger.
