Immortal Desire -
Chapter 45
The confusion in Latina’s face was swept away. Looking at the man’s face lightened by the sun rays, as if focused by the spotlight, she knew he was her savior. She awkwardly stretched her lips, trying to copy what she visualized since she saw that warm and sweet curl on his lips. Latina thought it was fascinating and the man deserved to be addressed in the same way.
“Heh.” A small sound escaped her mouth when she forced her lips to curve the way she wanted it to be while showing her teeth. She looked silly.
“Here,” the man extended his hand, which she gladly accepted. He tugged her up from the ground.
Latina beamed, foolishly. She initially wanted to smile kindly but her muscles were stiff. “Sebastian,” she mumbled his name. With her brows creased, she tried to comprehend something out of that nine-letter word. The sound of his name was so familiar that she could feel a twinge in her chest and a hint of tingling sensation creeping in at the same time. “Uh…” she exhaled when she grew tired of trying to decipher the bizarre feeling.
“Are you done?” Sebastian asked her. The amused smile never left his face.
“Done? With what?” the ever-confused lady asked. She didn’t understand what he meant by his question.
Sebastian let out a soft chuckle. He smiled widely as he tucked her hair to the side, revealing her dirty face. “You’ve been staring at me for a while now. I was asking if you were done, so we could go and clean you up.” He bent down and whispered to her ears, “If you want to look at me more, we can stay for a few minutes.”
The cold mist in the morning was nothing against the feverish excitement that Latina felt. Her face went redder when her skin reacted to the warm sensation brought by his gentle breathing on her neck. Their faces were too close. The friction between their skin went intense when Sebastian brushed his cheek on hers. Like a bolt of lightning hitting her, Latina felt electrified. The spark started on her cheek which Sebastian fondled down her every nerve. It was her thing between her thighs that had the most impact. She only needed to draw her hand down to that part to verify her suspicion. Although she could tell without touching, it was getting wet down there.
“Ugh…”
“What’s wrong?” Sebastian pulled away when she grunted and cupped her face. “You’re blushing,” he commented. He knew why, and he couldn’t help but enjoy the sight of her. “Let’s get out of here first and talk about the details later,” he continued when she said nothing.
Dark marble stone walls, well-furnished concrete floors, and hard-wood furniture inside made the lone mansion in the middle of the forest look cozier yet a bit of liveliness was still necessary. Sebastian pushed the door closed when she entered. Her eyes roamed around, appreciating each corner of the house.
“I live by myself and there’s a lot of spare rooms. You can pick one to use,” he said while resting his back on the soft cushion. “Oh yeah, I’ll show you the bathroom.” He stood and gestured to her to follow him.
Latina bobbed her head and walked behind him. She was glad that he treated her well, but she couldn’t stop doubting his actions. First, he helped her without asking anything about what happened to her. Then he guided her to his mansion when she hadn’t even introduced herself yet.
“Here it is,” Sebastian halted in front of a white-painted door. “You can clean yourself inside and as for your change of clothes,” he scratched his neck while looking elsewhere. “I haven’t prepared any female clothes. You can use a robe in the meantime. What do you think?” He turned his gaze at her.
She nodded her head mindlessly. For her mind was still filled with thoughts about the man’s kindness, her suspicions were subsiding. It was a strange feeling that she never felt before. Just like how she felt something wet flowing out from down below earlier when they made contact. Sebastian was undoubtedly giving her an irresistible warmth that she yearned for who knows since when. It felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity, and she didn’t want to miss it. With a small smile, she faced him and locked her eyes on his. “Latina,” she muttered her name, hoping that he understood what she meant.
Sebastian was clueless for a while, but he smiled when he understood what she was saying. “Nice meeting you, Latina.” His smile was as bright as the rising sun, making her brims spread wider. That moment, her smile looked more natural, and she wasn’t aware of it.
The scent of herbs mixed with floral essence pervaded the entire bathroom. Latina was joyfully soaking in the tub while washing her hair. She didn’t remember taking a bath in her life though she ended up laughing it off when she realized that she doesn’t remember anything in the first place. Her eyes were gleaming as she scrubbed her skin using a piece of dried and cut up loofah. She felt satisfied as she rinsed her body, washing away the dirt on her. When she checked on her wounds, her jaw almost dropped after finding nothing. There were no scars or scratches left.
“Were they healed?” she asked. She got off the tub and walked towards the large rectangular glass on the side. Latina was amazed when she saw herself, Nah, her reflection on it. Slowly, she raised her hand to feel its smooth texture. “I can see myself from this thing,” she murmured, wiping the mirror with her hand.
“Are you done?”
She abruptly held her hand back when she heard Sebastian calling from the other side of the door. He knocked three times before calling her again. “All right, take your time,” was what he said before she heard fading footsteps.
Latina bit her lips when she felt her face burning for the second time since she met him in the woods. She pinched her cheeks when she saw how red they were in the mirror. “Ah, this feels so nice.” Humming a random melody, she pulled the robe hanging on the side and put it on.
The sweet aroma of a strawberry jam filled her nose the moment she stepped inside the dining hall. There, she saw the handsome man with his tender smile, sitting with his legs bridged while waiting for her. His sexy silver-gray orbs were staring at her as she went closer to have a seat. It was At that moment when she realized she had to watch for her step.
“Aw,” she g*****d in pain when she tripped. Her chin fell on the chair that made her bite her tongue to bleed.
Sebastian was aware of what he’s supposed to do, but he laughed his a*s off first before helping her up. “Come on, I made something tastier than this wooden chair,” he smirked.
She was supposed to feel embarrassed, but she didn’t. Instead, she felt more welcome in the house. It may just be the two of them but Latina thought anywhere feels like home as long as she was beside him. Only his warmth could melt her frozen caged soul and awaken her sleeping heart in the dark.
